Busy crafting morning. As well as the wedding card (in decoupage) I knew I had a sympathy card to make for the orchestra to send to the family of a member who sadly died last week. So made this for him

Then found a message on my email saying a friend's dad had died, so backto the craft room, and for her I made this

Not that a hand crafted card brings much comfort at such a time, but hopefully will convey some support to them all

It is a hard task making sympathy cards isn't it Kim? Excellent choice, I always think flowers as a theme go down well, the music theme is excellent for the orchestra member.

Beautiful, tasteful cards Catherine :thumbup; That's aways the best for symapthy cards, I think - using stock images (like lilies) is fine, but can be rather overdone these days. There's always a surfeit of lilies and religious icons, but the latter are far less often appropriate today, and it seems better, to me, to simply show good taste ;)
