Jenny has decided that, as I've done digital scrapbooking, and because I actually love the look of scrapbooks, I'm the one who's going to be making a real scrapbook of our holiday! We've got a beautiful scrapbook, in black fabric with absolutely no cover embellishments at all except for a big button and a tape to close it with ;) We've also acquired a load of scrapbook papers that I had to choose, and which seemed appropriate to the holiday :D

Our best buy for it, I reckon, was a "Hot off the Press" Finished In A Flash great outdoors pack, which has great papers and some wonderful embellishments :thumbup; We only paid £7.99 too! :o

The greatest expense is likely to be printing out the photos! :r While my new printer is absolutely superb, the cartridges are very "ouch" expensive :lolol:

It's going to take me a while to get things straight in my mind, let alone actually start putting the pages together ;) Hopefully, though, I'll soon be sharing some pages with you all :)

Steve :)

:thumbup; Good idea Jenny, keep Steve busy.
Steve why not do a page or two following the sketch on PCU, you've got until the end of the month to enter and there is always a prize! I find the sketches quite useful and you don't need to follow exactly.

Looks like you are going to be pretty busy Steve :big) I haven't done any digital scrapbooking for ages, I just couldn't seem to make the images I wanted especially embellishments but I haven't given up hope of doing more. Some digital scrapbookers tend to do hybrids I think that's the name where they use digital and paper embellishments together sort of combine the two together which looks nice so you could try that.

On Monday I bought myself two small Daler and Rowney art journals and yesterday I painted them both with gesso both front and back covers so I could paint and embellish them before using, I'm a bit like you at the moment wondering what to do next, I know I have to decide on a design now but can't think of anything at the moment, I need to give the old grey matter a good kick start to get me going :lolol:

Jo, I'm very slowly sorting things out in my head, but I'm not sure I'll be quick enough for PCU ;) I probably won't actually get anywhere until next month :r

Eileen, Jenny bought me a little Winsor & Newton "field set" in Lancaster but with the weather, I never got a chance to use it ;) I thought about digital scrapbooking, but we got so many goodies that it would be a waste to not use them :D
