Well, no, it wasn't written for Visual C++. In fact, it's an ISO C program, so it was written for everything everywhere. But yes, it will work with Visual C++, invoked in C mode. I generally don't bother with Visual C++. I can't see the point in using Microsoft software (including Windows). I prefer stuff that works.
