Thats a problem with mixed alphabets, the keyspace is actually much smaller because they are usually created with keywords. The nice thing about Diego is that it doesn't eliminate duplicate letters from the key. The challenge cipher was not created using a keyword. It was created by a monkey (well, an honorary monkey) on a keyboard. Quite a different proposition.
