You guys might want to do some marketing. Not spam, obviously, and certainly not Usenet abuse (but see below). Perhaps you have some friends with high-traffic sites who might be prepared to stick a link on their sites for you. I'll ask around too, although my contacts are somewhat limited. It would help people to link to you if you had a small banner ad that could be used for click-through to this site, that would be a bonus, so please post a URL where such a banner can be found. Ideally it would be in PNG format, as they're not too heavy and don't have the negative patent connotations of GIFs - and it shouldn't be so garish or bloodsoaked that people are going to be put off from using it on their nice clean sites. Re Usenet: I know you already posted an article in rec.puzzles giving the URL of this forum, which is fine if you do it once but we don't want to jar them off. One possibility is that we could come up with a fun-to-solve crypto puzzle (not the usual cryptogram thing), and (say) "Revelation" could post it there - which would give you a decent excuse to stick a link in your sig block. We should of course monitor the group to show that we care enough to answer any followup questions - to keep our welcome intact for the next time we do the same thing!
