I shudder to think of my first attempt to disguise plaintext passwords in a database. Because it's just possible that that system is still live, I'm not going to describe what I did. Suffice to say that I didn't know spit about crypto at the time. Cracking it would be a one-banana problem. btw As you probably noticed, I've not been around for a while. Sorry, but life gets in the way sometimes. Too many things to do, chasing too little time. |
