I've always thought that having software to be essential. For one thing, it allows you to create ciphertexts automatically.. As you said, your cipher is a variant on the Vig. In fact, it's a variant on the mixed-alphabet Vig, unusual in that it switches between four different mixed alphabets every 36 letters. Are you aware of the usual attacks on the Vig? |
