I did like it - A good book to get people interested in Ciphers and cryptography - it has a lot of the history of cryptography. The part about Mary Queen of Scots made me laugh though as I did that last year in History and all the things I was told then were disproved

I even understood the quantum theory at the end (note the signature). Which both me and my dad where impressed at.

In my opinion - I think that the NSA has already made a quantum computer - but can't or won't release the information about it - as they know that they will have to work twice as hard to decrypt everybody's messages once we all switch to something like quantum criptography.

Even if they haven't yet I don't think that they will release the knowledge to the rest of the world until they have worked out how to decipher quantum ciphers.

Everything is possible,
The impossible just takes longer

If we do not know what a particle is doing then it is allowed t do everything possible simultaneously.
