Delphi isn't dead at all. Soon Delphi 2006 will be released. Why would they do that if it is declared dead? |

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but calculating the IOC is great for hand ciphers, but is there a method for calculating this with ascii text? Or is it even relevent, is there a website out there that could point me in the right direction ? I would like to understand a little bit more about the IOC |

It is the same principle for ASCII, or really anything that you are counting the frequency of. To determine the key length for your baldr cipher, I modified my IoC program to look at the frequency of all 256 byte values. You still just sum f(x)*(f(x)-1) for all frequencies. |
