I suppose everybody must be beavering away on Donald's mystery story. Is anyone else making progress, apart from rot13?

Probably the REAL problem was, as you pointed out in another thread, LIFE! Life keep getting in the way of my cryptography. I've got to work on that... Donald

I finally trotted over to the Southampton crypto site to see what cows was making a fuss about. The first challenge I saw was, as someone here pointed out, very simple - as is very right and proper for a challenge site. In fact, it was simpler than I gave it credit for! (The approach I adopted was overly complex, as a result of which it took me several minutes rather than just one.)
