HA! Success!
Did it all by myself. Answer: ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE, AND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS. THEY HAVE THEIR EXITS AND THEIR ENTRANCES, AND ONE MAN IN HIS TIME PLAYS MANY PARTS. SHAKESPEARE It was incredibly easy because of the name, which gave you 7 (did I count correctly? I'm in a rush...) letters. Oh well, still a success. I'M ON A ROLL!
IT'S IMPORTANT TO OUR FRIENDS TO BELIEVE THAT WE ARE UNRESERVEDLY FRANK WITH THEM, AND IMPORTANT TO FRIENDSHIP THAT WE ARE NOT. MIGNON MCLAUGHLIN YEAH! Pulsar |

Now press and hold down the Windows key as if it were a shift key, and press E. Hey presto, one Windows Explorer session! Now try it with Windows-R. Instant run-box! Windows-M, if I recall correctly, minimises everything so that you can see the desktop. Very handy. What else, what else? Oh yeah - Windows XP finally introduces tab-completion in console windows, in a rather pathetic attempt to catch up with bash. Worth knowing. There are various keyboard tricks you can play in a Win32 console window to do things like clearing the command history, matching a previous command, and so on. If you're a programmer, things get to be much more fun. In fact, the Win32 API is the best bit of Windows. |

Congratulations! Now you should consider joining the ACA and getting a very nice package of cool stuff like I did!

I've heard very good things about the ACA. Being a student, however, money is rather tight. Is it worth the money? If it really is, I will not hesitate to join. Pulsar |

YES. It doesn't cost much, you get lots of cool stuff. The magazine contains OODLES of cool ciphers to break, and articles about breaking ciphers. Just as a for example of some of the fun they had. The ACA is going to have a big convention. In the regular Aristocrat section, they included a cipher with a hint about a "special" party before the convention. Break another cipher and you can find out where and when. (My 7 year old son was quite dissapointed when he learned that we couldn't MAKE it to the "special" party after he had helped me break the cipher) It's a community of people who love making and breaking codes. I highly recommend it. |
