 Some days, things go right.

This morning, I picked up at the Post Office, a package containing the first four volumes of Cryptologia. 1977-1981.

I'd been trying to find older back issues of this since I read of Gary Knight's "Cryptanalysts' Corner", which ran in Cryptologia from 1978 to 1983. Early years do not seem easy to come by. The publisher doesn't have copies, none of the libraries I'd searched had copies. Amazon's used book sellers had only one year. So I tried Ebay.

And found that issues of Cryptologia had been offered for auction on Ebay only once - and those auctions were still active.

Well, now their mine.

Has anyone else found that the good references in this area seem to be hard to come by?

 Cryptography books are at least a little bit easier to get now that we have the internet. But they are still not easy. And some are virtually impossible.
