Anyone have any sources describing the use of Hidden Markov Modeling in cryptanalysis?

The use of Hidden Markov Modeling, period?

That second one has details of the actual algorithms that I'd not been able to find.

I've been looking at this, particularly chapters 5&6:

Speech and Language Processing

This is suggestive, as to crypto applications:

Hamptonese and Hidden Markov Models

And in this, you'll fnd an article: "Solving the Running Key Cipher with the Viterbi Algorithm":

Wikipedia seems to have clear and concise explanations, in this area:

Viterbi algorithm
Baum Welch algorithm
