I recently looked into how to submit an FOIA request and while I know specifically what I'd be asking for, I think it's hard for people to know what to ask for in situations like this NDC forum. Even if we figure out what it is we're trying to find out, there may not be much of a paper trail that would make sense besides some redacted memos or random office letters. Also, it seems like the really secret stuff would be what we'd want to know about and yet would be the very thing that we would never know to ask for. |
