So can someone explain to me why it is $100 more expensive to get the crack in my top fairing fixed then it is to buy a brand new part ?? I damn near laughed at the guy today when he gave me the price to fix it.     |

who in the hell told you 100 bucks!, the thing is you have a limited edition bike so i would fix that piece or you could buy another upper and get custom concepts to do the alstare graphics....probably more than 100 bucks thats actually pretty good price if the work is good! wrecking sucks! |

No No No you misunderstood. I can buy a brand new piece from AP Motorsports for $230.00 that is the stock replacement piece with the Alstare paint and Graphix. Custom Concepts quoted me between $325 and $350 to fix and paint the piece. Plus he wanted to repaint the whole part to keep it looking even so I was also going to have to go out and find a replacement set of Graphix to replace the ones he was going to pull off. |

That's probably one instance that I'd just go ahead and buy the replacement part. However, I 'd wait until the end of riding season in case it would accidentally fall over. Just a suggestion

Yeah i think what i will do is just order the part so i have it. Then put it on after the season. I just couldnt believe how much more it was going to cost to fix it. |
