![]() THE WORLD And its forcast... <span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>Enverza is a land of its own. With several races and concepts to walk its lands, this planet is quite enriched with an affluent amount of versatile life known to humanoid and to embodiments otherwise put. Those who are humanoid - a branch of genetics perhaps spread by their crystal-free kin from another world - come in all shapes and all forms, four of which that are born with with an innate networking to the nature around. Those who are not known to be "soulless," or crystal-free - generally portray their elemental or animality features both spiritually and physically in variable ways. ABOUT THE MAP In different countries and regions there is a race, or a few, that dominates that region of the land - causing the area to be very influenced by the customs of the inhabitants. Sometimes cultures mix. Sometimes they stay isolated due to racism between each kind. Acridium Region Anelkia & Tyaeonia, Ighan Anelkia is a life of its own beneath the water's surface. For the Akelkis race, the world down there has been crafted into an aquatic country with 'urban' areas, along with suburban, and rural. Although it is not unknown for an Akelkis to move up onto land, they can often be found else where in the small country of Tyaeonia. Aside from Anelkia and Tyaeonia, descendents of the Akelkis race can be found virtually any country but are found to take refuge by the ocean's coast or where it rains or snows more often. In Anelkia, the weather for them varies as the sea varies. Obviously they never get snow, nor ice, or even rain unless popping up to the surface; however, it does get even chillier than it already is down there but the Akelkis like the cold. The warmer it gets, the more lethargic the race becomes as the water holds less oxygen in warmer weather.
These countries are heavily populated with the Landers race. Since vehicles do not exist, nor does anything electrical [i.e. electric/gas stove, microave, iPod], for transportation they use animals to haul carriages, ride animals, walk on foot, on self-crafted manual transportation [i.e. bicycle made at the blacksmith's]. The weather here alters in four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. In Autumn, the foliage begins to wither due to the oncoming cold, thus, turns shades of yellows, greens, oranges, and even reds. The season after that delivers the land snow of variable amounts. In the Spring, the snow melts, life begins to bloom, and in Summer the foliage is bushy and green again.
These lands are heavily populated by the L`nirea race for these places happen to the be the sunniest, warmest, or driest of all Enversa. In Paoneila Sa, the lands are often moist with humidity. The foliage here is splendid and green, often being cleansed with periodic showers of rain and the nurturing of their caretakers: the Landers race. In many villages, the homes are hoisted up in trees with rope bridges stringing pathways from one platform and to the next. In other villages, they are in a small opening of forest but are still graced by the many greens and creatures. Exotic creatures and plants live here, some of the rarest and most valuable species live among the others. Also, there are caves both aquatic and land dwelling for the adventurous to roam.
These two are the domains of the flier races, and the flier races only. Even though another race could visit there with being escorted by one of the fliers, they simply couldn't live there, or even stay for very long. Oleidon is quite low to the ground in comparison to Unaton, and this place is haven to the Mura`le. However, one cannot fly to Oleidon or Unaton, but transport through magical portals which only the fliers can access. Oleidon is earthy looking, consisting up large trees and branches to live on or in, floating rocks here and there, and among many other little quirks for the weak fliers' advantage and liking. The King lives here with his race but often attends Unaton to be with his queen. Unaton is much higher and takes a Mura`le great effort to visit unless they have some sort of transportation given to them for their travelling use. They are placed within the clouds on top of a rocky structure, then crafted their own cultural refinement. Here is where the Queen lives. She and her husband, a Mura`le, will meet either in her palace or at his more humble home and discuss business. Although separate, the two domains are very much together.

The Akelkis The Akelkis (singular and plural form) are considered to be the Landers' counter part. They, unlike the sky rogues and the land walkers, dwell beneath sea - for the most part. This species comes in all sorts of sub-breeds such as shark, guppi, sting-ray, etcetera, but can live within both salt and mineral water. The females within this race are considered to be more dominant and aggressive than the males, which are generally seen as mellow and nurturing - although, there are a few oddities here and there. In their governing system, the women have all dominance and the males have very little rights. Anatomy Depending upon the breed of Akelkis will be the shape of their skeletal structure, however, it is most common that they have a human torso and face. A general Akelkis will be found with gills lining either side of his or her neck, ribs, back, or hips, and have added fins "decorating" the face, elbows, sometimes back, and lower half, which is naturally a tail or ending body of some sort. Although their lower halves change, they all have the very similar large, elongated fingers with sharp nail-like claws at the ends. On each hand they have only three fingers then a thumb. Their hands are a similar shade to their scales. Usually, the Akelkis (male or female) will keep their hair rather long. Men are are actually much smaller than the women in terms of height, but weight varies as it would in any other race. The women, depending upon the breed, can reach from six feet to a total of ten feet while the men range between four feet and less than seven. The average height for women is about 7'1" whilst the men are typically 5'6". Generally, the men are found to be quite the lookers in the Landers' eyes whilst the women appear a bit too harsh and tall, but in the eyes of the Akelkis, the women are more appealing and showy than the men are. Men are born with large black eyes whilst the women have vibrant palettes for eyes. Some have coral pink, some have azure blue, others have sea foam-green - etcetera. When in darkness, the Akelkis' bodies illuminate with quite the stunning spectrum of light. Metamorphism Akelkis are born as fish, grow up to be half man, half fish, thus, have a tail for legs and the rest be man. However, the Akelkis can morph their transportation system from fish to human. When morphing one's tail into a set of legs, his or her hands also match the length of the rest of Landers' populace. However, they stay the same colour(s), fins are present, as well as gills. They are able to breathe through their nose on land by the time they were 13-16 years old. Reproduction The Akelkis reproduction process is a bit of a mixture to their full-fledged kin fish and Landers. A female is able to produce eggs by the time she is 25-years old but a male can't fertilize until he's in his early to late thirties. Unlike Landers, the Akelkis children stay as eggs until they're ready to be birth - also, the woman doesn't carry her young in a womb as Landers and L`nirea would. The men have a special pouch for incubating eggs - like seahorses even if their base breed isn't related to the seahorse - just along their groin. The slit for the pouch and for the groin is generally unable to be seen until it purses out to either urinate, accept eggs, mate, or birth. The genitals and the pouch are separated by thick muscle and skin, giving both areas their own individual entrances for both usages within the original slit. A male should not make use of his pouch until he's ready to fertilize. Any younger and the pouch would not be able to distend as fully as it should to make the process easier for both carrier and eggs. Since sex is needed to fertilize the eggs and then a three to seven days period before transferring them to the male's pouch, any man (not just the father) can carry the eggs and not transfer any DNA of his own. If a man is asked to fertilize the eggs, carry the eggs, or both, he is not allowed to reject the woman's request. The men must obey even if the women presents the favour as a question. The only time when a male is allowed to reject the request is if he's too underdeveloped to carry it out. The female has the right to insist that the male gets his pouch examined (or his sexual reproductive organs) and see if he can or cannot fulfil the deed. If he finds out that he can, he must heed the original request. Marriage Akelkis do not "marry" or anything alike. They're free to mate with whomever whenever, but dating and marrying is almost unheard of within the race. There have been instances where a pair continued to reproduce with one another and being involved with no one else, but many don't think of it as dating. Those who do date have usually been brought to the idea by a Landers and are secretly involved with a landers. Secretly for the Landers behalf, not his or her own. Miscellaneous Akelkis are one of the most endurable humanoid races in all of Enverza. With their ability to take on thousands worth of pressure weight, thick bones, and thick skin, they are able to withstand a lot of physical touch (such as wounds, weight, usage, etc.) that others simply cannot. A quirk of theirs is being almost unaffected by the Landers depression period when they drain the life from all that lives. Where another Landers might show a scar for the incident of having his or her life drained, an Akelkis will show know sign unless put under a lot of exposure under little time, or endure a very long time period of withstanding the reaping touch. |
