The boy's cheeks flushed slightly, but he was calm enough as she climbed on the bike behind him. After all, he was in his element. Noah revved the bikes engine and slowly pulled away from the little aid station. Just to get Resa used to riding at more then a walking pace, he took it slower as they pulled onto one of the drives at the school, heading for the road.

It had been a while since he had gone without a helmet, and the wind was a nice change, plus the lack of helmet hair would be nice too.

Once they got onto the main road he glanced back and grinned.

"Hang on tight."

And with that he gunned the engine, the bike rocketing off down the road weaving between cars and trucks with practiced ease, and, due to his bond with the machine, able to cut corners and move as only Noah could.

"Having fun~?!" He yelled above the roar.

She wasn't quite expecting him to blast the engine like that, and clung a little tighter instinctively.
The bike rushed around a corner, and what part of her fringe that peeked out beneath her helmet was blinding her. It was a little like flying, but with a couple of tonnes of metal beneath her and a deadly crash awaiting should Noah miss a turn.

It was definitely exciting.

Resa opened her mouth to reply, but she could barely hear herself over the roar of the wind and the engine. She settled for giving him a gentle squeeze in the affirmative and looked behind her.
The buildings of the city appeared to be falling away from them, she could blink and miss entire city blocks. She had never managed to achieve this level of exhilaration as the bike did weaving through traffic.

Gradually the buildings grew smaller, and she gathered that they were approaching their destination.

Noah felt the squeeze and grinned. Showing off was something he hadn't done in a while, but it felt good, and while he wouldn't opening admit it, he enjoyed the company. He slipped past a pair of trucks and slowed down a bit as they got closer and closer to the slums. The cities streets looked fine so far, though the businesses were fewer.

He pulled onto a side street just as they began to approach "The Line", a cluster of buildings that skirted the more vacant area between the slums and inner districts. It was on this side street that a cozy little cafe existed, and their destination.

He readjusted his grip, a tinge of nervousness taking hold before he pushed it under the rug so to speak. He always got a little anxious when showing a potential new recruit this place. Part of him desperately wanted it to work out, and when he was honest with himself, he wanted Resa to pass the tests.

Pulling the bike up at the curb he turned and flashed a calm smile. "Well, here we are~"
