Noah glanced around as he led the others toward the lone gate in the front of the barracks fencing, he held up a hand as a guard passed by then slipped forward again, his Elite training and experience on similar missions having taught him how to time this just right to avoid complications.

"Here we go..." He said more to himself then to the two boys behind him. "This is it guys, keep close, keep quiet, and trust in yourself."

-------

Meanwhile, Isaac leaned back, a casual smile on his face as they sat just off shore of the barracks, their black boat blending in with the night.

"Just give the word and you have a gate Ladies~"

Hector rolled his eyes at the orders but kept his mouth shut. Now was not the time to be a smartass.

Truth be told, he was scared of this mission. The first one had gone terribly wrong and he'd hurt someone he cared about. This one seemed ten times more deadly and while Hector's danger sense had only risen a few notches in frequency, the teenager would rather be anywhere but where he was now.

He waited for Noah, crouching low, long coat flared around his ankles. He'd abandoned the plastic pill bottles for this mission--they would make too much noise--and was instead keeping them in a plastic bag in one pocket. His fingers itched to dig into them, to take a couple right now, but he resisted. He'd probably need a lot more of them later on.

Fisher knotted at Noah's words. He was determined to show that he wasn't as useless as everyone thought he was. He just wished that he still had the baton staff that Aidric had given him, but he hadn't been able to bring himself to face Anya sense she had taken it.

Even so, he hadn't come unarmed. A make-shift shank of broken glass, wood and electrical tape hung off his belt, along with a half of brick rapped in duct tape on the end of a ten-foot length of rope. He wasn't sure how well they would work, but it was better than nothing.

Fisher followed a couple of paces behind Noah. He had dressed in all black so that the night hid him. He'd had one of the girls at the café braid his hair before they have set off and on the way he had blackened it with black shoe polish he had found. His blond hair would stand out too much.

The teen copied his leader's movements as he followed, his red eyes darting around the area, looking for any movement that wasn't their own. He stood in the shadows as Noah opened the lock, before moving forward.

"Isaac, the pictures you need should all be on your camera. Anya, I'm heading this mission. That means no showboating. You are to listen to me without question and without argument. Is that clear?" Emily tucked a small blade into a hidden space on her boot. She had several more hidden in her sleeves and in the soles of her boots which worked on springs. Along with that, there were more tucked into her clothing. Even the pins in her hair were deadly-sharp needles, made to easily pierce flesh.

The Elite was in no mood for games. Arco had arranged for her to lead the charge into the Barracks and recollect the hostages. As his disciple, it was imperative that everything went smoothly. "As soon as we enter, we are to locate the victims. Then, we wait for the signal to go on the offensive." Her dark, cold eyes swept over the other two with her. "The eyes of Arcadia will be on us. Our actions tonight will make or break our futures in the Elite and the city at large. I will have no mistakes."

She turned her gaze to the compound in front of them and her eyes narrowed. There was no margin for error. No second chances. And no mercy.

Anya nodded at Emily's words, straightening herself to look as professional as she possibly could. She didn't like the fact that she was being treated as the weakest link on the team, but after seeing the serious expression on the blonde's face she decided that it would be better to withhold her opinion until and if a more timely situation was given.

Although she had acknowledged that she would be willing to follow orders, the redhead remained skeptical at the workings of the overall plan. She didn't understand what reasons there could be for holding back until further orders were given. Wouldn't it be more simple if they collected the hostages outright?

But she continued to hold her questions. Now was the time for action.

"Mr. Kurai," she said turning to Isaac. "Shall we proceed?"

The boy nodded flashing a darker smile, holding up the binoculars he stared at the spot behind one of the several buildings, willing a gate to form, and moments later a softly glowing gateway appeared there and another at the back of the boat.

He smiled and bowed, "after you ladies~"

---------------
Slipping in past another pair of guards, Noah led the group deeper into the cluster of buildings. It was somehow funny to him that his Elite training was what was helping him most. He looked back again to make sure the others were keeping up with him.

The boys were several paces away, hidden well in the shadows. But if you concentrated on that spot, you could see them. Louisa could, crouched behind another wall. Her normal jeans, blouse and baggy jumper had been replaced with black leggings and a tight black top. However her hair still tumbled freely down her back like a savage mane, and her tail twitched nervously by her feet.

Glancing around occasionally, she gulped back a lump in her throat, her stomach twisting nastily. Rooftop running in the Slums was one thing. Breaking into guarded barracks was another.
But there were innocent people at stake here. Keeping that in mind, she gritted her teeth, and kept watch.

As the boys hurried in through the gate, Louisa dashed after them, practically following in the their footsteps. Although keeping a certain distance from the last of the boys, she looked to catch the eye of the leader. Flashing a brief hand signal - M. C. - she hoped he'd get the idea she was on their side.

A blur of motion caught his eye as he looked back, instincts setting things on full alert. It was then Noah realized, not to help the matter, that he hadn't taken the time to make a bond with any of his team-mates gear.

Instead of risking the chance of someone raising the alarm, he prepared to deal with the newcomer until he noticed something rather familiar.

A tail.

"Oh for the lov'a mike..." He hung his head, and gave the newer MC member a thumbs up. Well, another pair of hands, er, and a tail could always be helpful he supposed.

Fisher saw Noah looking back. He followed his leader's gaze to a lone figure making its way towards them. Fisher froze, his hand darting to his knife at his side. He wasn't sure who it was that was making their way to them, but he was going to be ready.

He only relaxed when he saw Noah give a thumbs-up to show that he recognized the person approaching. Fisher didn't know the girl, but if Noah knew her that was good enough for him. He gave her a small smile of welcome his red eyes nervous.

Hector followed both Noah and Fisher's gazes until he saw someone lurking in the shadows. No spike in his danger sense, no need for alarm. The teenager turned away, glaring ahead at Noah's turned back. Even without his danger sense going off like a car alarm, he still felt like this was an awfully stupid idea.

Yes, there were probably a lot of terrible things going on (the way Aidric had gone on about it, you would have thought it was the apcolypse) but Hector was scared. Too scared, too hittery, would rather be running down the street. Everything that could go wrong was being repeated over and over in his head, throbbing in time to the tiny headache making itself known in his right temple. His movements became stiff with nerves, his fingers twitching against his dark coat, and he jumped at shadows.

This was not going to end well, he decided, this was not going to end well at all.

Emily nodded. "Let's move. And quickly. Something tells me we won't have long before the guards go on full alert." She darted through the gate, vanishing and reappearing in their sight. With a quick wave, she motioned for them to follow. This was her big chance, she had no intention of letting it slip through her fingers. Not this time.

A smile formed on the redhead's lips as she watched Emily dash through the waiting portal. The blonde's enthusiasm was rather refreshing.

Just as quickly, Anya followed through, soon standing beneath the shadows cast by the complex of buildings before them. If she recalled her intel correctly, their objective should be lying somewhere within the main building.

The temptation to dash off there and then tingled painfully through her legs, being held in place only by the knowledge that she would need Isaac and Emily as a guide through this maze.

Her head turned to face the open portal. There was still one more of their party yet to step through.

When the lead boy gave a thumbs-up, Louisa darted over to the group. Though she barely knew them, she felt a bit safer alongside people who would most likely be able at holding their own in a fight. Her hand briefly went to one of the pouches on her belt. Ugh, who was she kidding? How much good would a spanner be against a Powered guard?

Louisa returned the red-eyed boy's smile with one of her own. He seemed as nervous as she was. Looking back at the third of the party though, he looked all ready to get out of there pronto. She tapped his arm gently and gave him a smile which she hoped was comforting.

"Aidric gave me some of the details", she whispered to the leader. "You're Fisher, right?"

Isaac slipped through after the girls, winking at Anya before slipping up beside Emily.

"So, how we doing this~?" He said with a smile. The way his eyes set betraying the only signs of how really felt. Like the day he had blocked Hector's misguided punch, the other side of Isaac was just under the surface, the side that knew how serious this situation was, and the stakes, but he wouldn't show it, not to the others.

-----------------
Meanwhile, across the compound, Noah was trying to lead the others further into the cluster of buildings. Most were only one story, and this gave him an idea.

"Tails, could you get to the rooftop?" He said, resting a hand on her shoulder, quietly slipping a bond into her cloths. He planned to do the same to the others. Noah smiled to try and appear confident, then turned to Hector and Fisher. "Same goes for you two, she can climb on her own, but I'll help you guys." He reached out and planted bonds in both of their shirts before carefully lifting them into the air focused on placing them quietly on the roof.

He was so intent on this in fact that he didn't even see the pair of guards round the building behind him.

Emily slipped a blade from her dress and gripped it tightly in her hand. "We go in, find the hostages and then wait for the-"

"Gentlemen, we have intruders in the office. Take them out. All guards on alert for more. Shoot to kill. Start gathering the inventory. Take only the gifted, kill or leave the rubbish. Minos out."

The blonde Elite resisted the urge to curse. "Change of plans." She said simply. "Go through the area, kill or take down anyone you come across that isn't in the Elite. Do it fast but quiet. No showing off, no playing around. We need cold, cruel efficiency." Her dark brown eyes flicked over to Anya.

"Is that understood?"
