Hart stared, eyes wide, at the barrel of the gun. He squinted at it, imagining the consequences of a pull of the weapon's trigger. He'd done it enough times himself to know all the gory little details. Then again, he had heard quite a few gunshots. He locked eyes with Hyoji, considering the idea of calling his bluff, if there was one to call on. The man seemed anxious. That may or may not have only had something to do with the ever-so-important vial in his pocket, but it was enough to make Hart push on. He walked casually forward until the gun was only inches from his chest, knife swinging loosely in his hand. "Ah, yes. Jumper. The little annoying ball of sunshine. Not to mention underdeveloped, I mean seriously. Yeah, thing is I really don't like her." He reached up, tapping the side of the gun and raising his eyebrows expectantly. "So, I'm really not up for the 'saving her' thing." He continued. "But if you think it's so important, go ahead, shoot me dead." Hart took a couple of steps back, arms spread out, seeming to be making himself an easy target. Instead, once a couple feet from Hyoji, he reared back and kicked the would-be gunslinger in the stomach. He laughed, making a move to stab the dark-haired man, but stopped short. "Hart, there's a third!" Hart blinked, looking distractedly in the direction of the mirror maze. Didn't the stupid alien realize he was busy? Or that he didn't have telepathy? Though, that would have been cool and likely useful. That wasn't the point though, the point was that it wasn't his fault Wraith couldn't count, and he was busy killing someone...oh, that required him paying attention so that he didn't get hit back, didn't it? |

Hyoji thought his bluff would work at first, given Hart's evident reaction. However, at some point, probably when his only eye exchanged glares with the other man's, his opponent managed to pick up on his anxiety and nervousness. Hyoji had been on edge from the moment he had put the first foot inside that temple, and keeping his cool even now was a battle in its own. As Hart approached him to the point where Skoll's barrel almost poked at his chest, Hyoji realized he had been naive in thinking he could've obtained the vial so easily. He didn't know who was the white haired man in front of him or where he came from, but there was no doubt he was good. Fenrir was the only gun left with bullets, but if Hyoji brought that out, Hart would probably know that he wouldn't dare fire it with the present risk of breaking the vial... Options were running out. And of course Hart had to start talking... "Ah, yes. Jumper. The little annoying ball of sunshine. Not to mention underdeveloped, I mean seriously." As the white haired man spoke, Hyoji felt his mouth twisting into a scowl while his eye turned from its usual color to that of bright blue. Each word uttered from this psychopath were like spreading cracks in a dam that was about to break. "Yeah, thing is I really don't like her. So, I'm really not up for the 'saving her' thing. But if you think it's so important, go ahead, shoot me dead." And just as he finished talking the trigger of the gun, which was already shaking in Hyoji's hand from anger, was pulled. Instead of the loud bang, the sound that came from that was a dull click. Hart was now just a few feet away with his arms spread, yet he managed to foil Hyoji's plan so easily... "D-dammit..." The gray haired man muttered under his breath, frustration getting mixed with the anger in his expression. It was right then that Hart, noticing he had lowered his guard, kicked Hyoji right in the stomach. With a grunt of pain, the ammoless gunslinger tripped back and fell on his back on the bridge of ice he himself had made not even five minutes earlier. He slid a few feet back before sinking the fingers of his free hand into the ice and coming to a forced halt. "Tch... Alright, White..." Hyoji said from his position on the floor, quickly getting back to his feet as his free hand reached into his coat to pull his other gun. With both Hati and Skoll at hand, the gray haired man held then at his side as if they were swords, the index fingers at the triggers being nothing more than an act of muscle memory. His eye still shone blue as he glared bloody murder at Hart, the scowl on his face reminiscent of a wolf about to maul its prey. "... Ya wanna have fun!? I'll give you what ya want! Just remember to tell the people at Hell's gate that it was Hyoji Bluemoon who sent your scrawny ass there!" He shouted, back to his usual hot blooded self for the first time since the week had started. And with that, Hyoji darted towards Hart. Upon getting close enough, he immediately brought down the butt of his left gun to the other man's neck while using the barrel of his other gun to block his opponent's knife in case an attempt at stabbing was made. Fighting with guns as contact weapons most probably sounded crazy to just about everyone, but if there was one thing Hyoji learned in his life, it was that the moment he backed down because of the circumstances was the moment he was giving up his life. |

The entire room was dead silent as Bumaga covered his ill companion, watching to see where the creature went after it jumped away. Every once in a while he would see a black shape reflecting off another mirror, then disappearing as soon as it was seen. Its moving fast. Must know we've discovered it. Bumaga thought, keeping close to Irisis. But maybe we can still take it by surprise With that, The paper man put his finger up close to where his mouth would be as it creased away, then quickly folded up into a small white square, and placed himself on Irisis' shirt, still keeping an eye on the area around him. This was immediately made more difficult as the narrow glass corridor suddenly widened, revealing a circular section of the maze, with corridors branching out from the walls for access to other parts of the maze....including the exit! One of the paths led directly to a stone set of large steps. As the two slowly tried to make their way across the room, they saw themselves on every wall. Just a little further, we're going to make it! |

Scurrying around the group, Wraith followed them until they got to the end of the maze, in a larger room where it'd be easier to attack. Using the countless corridors that laced above the mirrors, the Xenomorph dropped down in to full view, blocking the only exit. It was true, she hated Arco, but to prevent him from creating the Irregular Rift that was just a few floors up would mean certain death. "The cure isn't up there," the Alien hissed, jaws opening to reveal the secondary set. "There is no reason to proceed so you might as well turn around and run back to the hole you came from. You know that other human that was with you? Well, he's fighting to gain the cure as we speak. I think it'd be easier to go help him, wouldn't you?" There was a sudden crash of glass as Wraith's muscular tail flicked to the side, shattering a nearby mirror into a thousand pieces. The shards, upon hitting the temple's stone floor, turned black before disappearing completely, the frame of the mirror vanishing to reveal a simple, stone wall. "You see, these mirror's aren't real. It's simply an illusion that he created to mess with your little brain. Though I do believe this gas is working wonders already, don't you think? Rest assured, the gas is not an illusion so I wouldn't stay here any longer than I had to if I were you." For a moment, Wraith switched to her secondary vision, ligaments tightening when she no longer saw the white shape she'd seen before. It didn't frighten her too much, however, because she really had no intention of fighting them. In this cold environment, she wouldn't fare very well, but the least she could do is try. Still, she had to be wary. This was no time to get cocky because one wrong move, and the rift she reluctantly protected would be destroyed. |

Irisis' fingers lingered where Bumaga had folded up on his shirt. He felt comfort from knowing that the other was there. The wall of mirrors on both sides opened up and they entered an open area. Their reflections and a few other things that didn't belong surrounds them. There were other passageways branching off from the room the were now in, and Irisis smiled. The exit was right in font of them, all it would take was a few more steps and they'd get out of the gas still think in the air. Just a few more steps, unfortunately the creature from before was now blocking there path to safety. Though she didn't put it that way. She said that the cure wasn't up there, and that it was down stairs where Hyoji was. It would take to long for them to turn around and head back to the beginning, and the could easily get lost. With his eyes trying to play tricks on him, he'd rather leave sooner then later. "Then shouldn't we leave through the closest exit? If it's bad for me to be breathing in this air, shouldn't I be getting out of it soon?" Irisis wasn't worried for Hyoji behind them, he could easily take care of himself, but he was sure the older male wouldn't be that happy if something bad happened to either of them while trying to move on. He was afraid that if he kept breathing in the purple gas that some of its affects might stay, and he'd be seeing things that shouldn't be there for the rest of his life. "Can't we just move forward?" |

The Xenomorph snorted, her cloudy breath rising from the tube that jutted from her back. "Well, I'd let you move forward and get hopelessly lost in this temple that has no exit past me, or I could personally lead you to the exit, which just so happens to be back where you came from. I know the easiest way through his maze, so it will only take a few minutes." Wraith refused to move from her spot in front of the doorway, knowing all too well that humans enjoyed doing exactly what they weren't supposed to do if you turned your back for just a few seconds. She would not allow Arco to take her head on account of her failure. "So what do you say? I'll lead you back to your other friend and I may even help you obtain the very last cure. I dislike humans equally so destroying a partner of mine is no problem. You'll get your cure and then you can be on your way, agreed?" ((Now we REALLY need Bumaga to either a) tell Irisis to say this or say it himself that they're here for the RIFT and not the CURE.))

The paper man realized his foolishness in thinking that they could outrun the creature. He was surprised it could talk, let alone so politely, though he was quick to realize he wasn't one to talk. If it was just a week ago, Bumaga would have welcomed the alien nicely and take the creature's word that it had a cure for Jumper and go along his way. But he had learned the hard way that these people could not be trusted, and that however polite they may seem, once you turned your back on them.... At any rate, whatever the hunter thought they were there for, it was wrong. Hyoji was taking care of the cure, leaving them to destroy one of those broken rifts. They weren't about to leave when they were so close to success. "We have to keep going Irisis. Tell her we're going forward to the rift!" The paper man whispered into the boy's ear. |

When he turned his attention back to his opponent, the dark haired man was charging at him angrily. Hart watched him coolly, ready to parry any fists that came his way. The man didn't exactly seem like he had a plan much more sophisticated than 'Smash that guy's face in'. "... Ya wanna have fun!? I'll give you what ya want! Just remember to tell the people at Hell's gate that it was Hyoji Bluemoon who sent your scrawny ass there!" Hart snorted, "Oh, now I'm really scared-" His retort was met with a sharp blow to the neck. Hart cried out, stumbling a little to the side and clutching at his neck. The knife clattered loudly to the floor. Coughing and rubbing his neck, he bent down and picked it up shakily. "Well," He began, his voice sounding a little strained, "that was pretty damn creative for coming after a cliche one liner." He paused a moment, still rubbing his neck and looking thoughtful, then smiled wide at Hyoji and ran at him, knife at the ready to stab at whatever got close enough. |

Hyoji didn’t even notice Hart trying to say something before the butt of his gun connected with the white-haired’s man neck, sending him to the side. Immediately after that, Hyoji backed off to keep a distance between them and wait for his next attack. What got the one-eyed man by surprise is that a pistol-whip like that would normally break a person’s neck, yet the man before him acted like it was a kick on the ankles or a slap on the back of the head. This made things harder, since the clock was ticking and Hyoji needed to ends things as fast as he could without breaking the vial inside the other man’s coat. “Tch… Why didn’t ya neck break just now? Are ya some kinda freak!?” Shouted the man with one eye who could create ice from every pore of his body. His very hypocritical question wouldn’t be answered however as just as he finished the white haired man said something about one liners and dashed towards him. Gritting his teeth, Hyoji didn’t wait for that edge to get a stab at his heart and instead ran on the opposite direction as Hart. He ran slightly to the white haired man’s right so he wouldn’t collide with him, and brought his right hand closer to his left shoulder with the intent of hitting the butt of his gun square on Hart’s forehead. When the two men crossed paths, Hyoji hurled his arm at his opponent’s face, but the gun passed a few millimeters above his white hair. The annoyance in Hyoji’s expression at that moment then became pain when his felt the tip of the other man’s knife slashing at his side, close to his ribcage. “Ugh… Fast!” Hyoji grunted after his feet firmed themselves on the floor again, his back now turned to Hart and the ice bridge. He reached with his right hand for the new cut on his side, still holding one of his guns. The cut was superficial, but a thin line of blood was sipping down. The pain wasn’t unbearable, but he had to keep the wound closed, so it didn’t take more than ten seconds for a thin surface of ice materialize itself over the cut. The ice also worked to numb the pain, so it was an efficient temporary measure. He just had to make sure the cuts remained few and superficial... “I’ll just have to attack from afar..!” Hyoji wondered aloud, glaring over his shoulder at Hart while holding up his right arm. Ice quickly formed on the back of the forearm, and the gray haired man promptly spun on his feet to face the white haired man again, hurling his right arm at him. From the ice that had been formed, a single, big spike was shot from his arm and flying straight towards Hart’s face. |

Irisis slowly opened his mouth, trying to form words that even though they were there would not come out. His mind was still trying to arrange the information he'd just been told. The creature was fine killing off one or her...partners. Hyoji was fighting someone, though he'd be fine, he knew that. The cure wasn't forward, but with Hyoji. Bumaga said they needed to go forward to the rift. Okay, now all he needed to say was they had to go forward. "We're going forward, to the rift, uh Miss," he took a step forward, "could we pass?" Irisis was worried that the creature wouldn't let them pass, even if she kind of seemed like she wanted to get them to go downstairs more. A few more shapes filtered on the outskirts of his vision. He needed to get out of this room right? And Bumaga said to go forward, so forward they should go, right? |

"Some kind of freak?" Hart laughed. "You could say that, but I think you just suck at hitting people." Rushing at his scruffy opponent, Hart noticed a few seconds ahead of time what the other man was planning. It was sort of painfully obvious. He was beginning to suspect that perhaps Hyoji lacked subtlety. He ducked as he passed the grizzled man, the gun passing with a rush of air just above his head. Hart grinned when he heard a grunt of pain from behind him, turning to see a trickle of red running down his opponent's side. Now that was more like it! Not that it couldn’t have gone better, it wasn’t like he could see bone or anything, but that would come in time. He wiped the trickle of blood left on his knife off on his coat, the red barely making a mark on the black. Looking back to Hyoji, the older man seemed to have decided his fancy ice superpowers might be the better way to go. “I’ll just have to attack from afar..!” An icicle shot forward, and Hart barely dodged out its way. He hissed through his teeth, grabbing his arm. Droplets of blood seeped through his fingers. Okay, perhaps he hadn’t completely dodged it. Shifting his grip on his knife, blue eyes fixed on every part of Hyoji that he’d really love to harm. “You know, it’s generally a good tactic to not loudly announce your next move.” He offered, helpfully. “And, would you look at this.” Gestured to the shredded cloth and blood on his arm. “Now we’re even. Can’t have that” Hart flicked his knife expertly towards the spot between Hyoji’s eyes, at the same time producing another from somewhere in his sleeve and rushing towards the other man once again. |

Were humans really that daft? Seriously, she had practically spelled it out to him in terms that a retard could understand. She'd even gone so far as to be kind about it, but apparently his brain couldn't comprehend the idea that he could NOT PROCEED. The Xenomorph's tail smashed another mirror as she rose from the ground to her full height of just over seven feet tall. Compared to the human before her, she was a giant. "I don't think your ears are working very well, or is it your brain?" Wraith asked, jaws opening to reveal long, silver-like teeth. Drool ran from her mouth as if a leaky faucet were inside. She curled her muscular tail into an 'S' shape which would easily trick a smarter human into thinking she was even larger than she was. But really, this human lacked muscle - would it really be that hard to overpower it? She wouldn't even have to try at this rate. "Let me make this crystal clear," the creature hissed. "You. Cannot. Proceed. If you try, things will get violent and I'm not afraid to spill some blood." |

There it was. One thing out of place in its plan and the creature was already becoming angry. Bumaga was surprised how easily he could guess it's actions, despite it's lack of emotional features. But of course he had plenty of experience looking at his own reflection. Still, this would get ugly very quickly. The thing was rearing up on it's hind legs like a bear threatening to attack, and any regular person would have flinched at the force displayed by its long black tail. If she attacked, their fighting would only shorten the timer on Jumper's life. Something had to be done. "I'm sorry Irisis, but could you stall her for a little longer? I'm going to try getting past her" Bumaga whispered, folding up even further into the shape of a small fly, lifting off of the boys shoulder and gliding down to fly toward the door beyond the alien in their path. |

Irisis felt faint, and he swallowed. How was he going to distract the now much more threatening creature in front of him. Okay, distracting, what was distracting? His eyes started to wonder around, two of the broken mirrors lay shattered, there was the now unfortunately normal images, and Bumaga. "Uh... So... uh... no, going f-forward?" Irisis tried to fill the time bubble so Bumaga could get past her. He rubbed his shoulder awkwardly, and looked down. "So, uh... what is actually in the air?" Irisis asked quietly, it was kind of bothering him that he didn't know what he was inhaling, and maybe it would hold off moving forward or back. He just hoped that didn't mean they'd go back having failed. |

Wraith took a cautious step forward, making sure to watch every direction for movement towards the hallway she was guarding. For a second she thought she caught movement, but upon looking around with her weaker vision, she saw nothing at all. Perhaps... the third figure she saw before was just a figment of her imagination... but she'd never had any of these 'ghosts' before. It had to have been the gas. “What do I look like, a human scientist?” the Alien snarled, snapping her teeth together with a metallic 'clang'. “I could care less what it consists of, human, and yes, you aren't getting past me. Any more stupid questions?” Taking a step back as the Alien advanced, Irisis dropped his gaze for a moment as he clutched his scythe a little tighter. “N-no, sorry,” he mumbled, biting his lower lip before looking back up at the creature, brow furrowing every so slightly. He had watched Bumaga flutter past Wraith and let out a pent up breath. There was no feasible way he could get past the guard himself and help Bumaga – Irisis could only hope the paper man would be able to hold his own. He didn't want to fight, but he had to at least distract the creature long enough for Bumaga to stop the rift. If he turned and left now, the Alien would probably turn around and see him! Asking one last time couldn't hurt though, right? “Can you please let me pass? I need to fix something up ahead. It-it won't take long and I promise I won't get in your way,” Irisis requested just above a whisper. Wraith, however, was not going to budge. This human looked and smelled weak, and here she wasn't even attacking. Not like she really want to kill it and move on... that other human, Hyoji, was down there and the last thing she wanted was to be frozen again. Hart could handle him, right? Probably not. “I said no!” the beast screeched, leaping forward and pinning the human to the ground. “I'm sick and tired of you stupid humans, thinking you know what's better!” she mind-shouted, lips pulled back to reveal long fangs, her thick, jelly-like drool dripping all over the boy's face and clothes. Irisis's eyes grew wide and scared as he looked up at the terrifying face of the creature he was trying to distract. He winced, turning his head as far away as he could when the saliva ran over him, sticking to his hair in globs. “But the rift it going to destroy this place!” he found himself blurting out, struggling as Wraith pressed him harder to the floor. “And it's my job to keep it from harm, human.” Wraith pressed one hand against Irisis's face, grinding his skull into the stone floor of the temple. “And I have no intention of letting a runt like you get anywhere close to it, understand?” Clenching his jaw tighter with each push, Irisis let out a small squeak. “Stop!” he cried, blindly bringing his scythe up and striking whatever part of the Alien he could reach. There must've been some Jake Luck in the air, as the tip of the blade pierce Wraith's shoulder blade and cut right through it, sending the creature whirling away with a shocked screech. Irisis didn't think, he simply scrambled to his feet and ran back towards the mirror maze. He didn't bother trying to figure out the way through, he only smashed through the closest mirror, passing through the opening just in time for it to heal itself. It wasn't whole for very long, for just a second later, Wraith burst through herself, stopping long enough to feel for the faint vibrations of broken glass striking the floor. “You won't lose me in here, human! I can smell your trail,” Wraith snarled, bursting through the mirror in which a certain pheromone path abruptly ended. However, Irisis knew this. That was why he had his shirt covering his nose and mouth, of course. But that last little comment gave him an idea. He turned right, breaking all the mirrors closest to him before running through each one, making one small, complete circle. If the Alien wanted to cheat, he'd cheat as well. With each turn, he'd run through at least two of the mirrors before traveling as far as he could in one direction, running around in circles again, then take off. And Wraith was beginning to hate him. With each broken mirror, the scent would travel three different ways, leaving her guessing at the direction of travel until she felt another mirror break. She's rush off only to run into the same dilemma again. She'd never admit it, of course, but she couldn't quite remember which way she came from. After a few minutes of this nonsense, Wraith finally stopped in the middle of a hall. The human would have to come this way eventually, and when it did, she'd move in for the kill. She could still feel the hurried steps and shattering glass around her, but she just had to remember who was hunting whom. She had all the time in the world, literally, but the human would eventually do what all humans did: fail. As predicted, it didn't take much longer for Irisis to show up. When he hit the hall, he didn't even notice the black bulk of Alien crouched on the ground waiting for him. It wasn't until he ran in another circle did he notice. It just sat there as if it were a statue, the only indication that it was still alive was the ever growing pool of drool in front of it. Okay, it was time to leave now. The chase started just as fast as it stopped, only this time, Wraith was right on his heels. Irisis heard the snap as the creature's inner jaw clamped together after a failed attempt at attacking. His only saving grace, however, was the fact that he'd visited all the edges except the entrance. He knew how to escape if he could only gain a little bit of distance. Irisis took a quick turn, gaining a fraction of a second headway as the Alien first smashed into a mirror, unable to turn quite as sharp. 'Only a few more mirrors and the door should be there,' he thought as he urged himself on, mouth open and lungs screaming for air. His legs burned and the scythe was starting to become heavy in his hands. There it was! The blackness of the stairwell entrance was barely visible beyond the final mirror, but he could make it! “Spirit!” he shouted, reaching up the grab the crystal heart pendant hanging from his neck. The gem glowed bright, something like red light bursting forward and smashing through the final mirror. Black silk rustled to life as the red turned into hair, the pale, perfect complexion of Spirit forming into existence. The doll's face was twisted into an almost permanent snarl. A cocky snarl. “Irisis.” Spirit greeted coldly, lifting up her gleaming knife to keep the mirror from fixing itself. “Hurry.” The boy instantly felt the toll of summoning the doll, but was only too glad to see his friend again – it'd seemed like such a long time since they'd last seen each other. “Thank you,” Irisis smiled shyly as he ran past the mirror. Spirit's twisted grin fell into a frown as she watched the Alien scramble after her master, dropping her arms to the side and stepping back just as Wraith leaped forward. The timing was perfect. The mirror turned solid just as the creature was halfway through, the remaining shards digging through the exoskeleton to reach the section that it belonged in. It wouldn't turn into an actual mirror until it became solid again, but that didn't matter if one's blood was acid. Wraith watched in disbelieve as the barely visible thing merely vanished, the pendant around Irisis's neck completely losing its glow. She twisted her tail around, striking the incomplete mirror impatiently as she waited for her blood to eat away at her infuriating bonds. “This isn't over, human. You just wait,” she growled, pulling one arm free and then the other. Irisis glared at the Xenomorph, eyes shaded by his hair. Maybe if he took another way around, he'd be able to help Bumaga. “I d-don't want to hurt you, but what you're trying to do is wrong,” he said matter-of-factly in his usual, quiet tone. Cautiously, Irisis took a step forward, striking his scythe against the closest mirror. “And I don't know why you'd want to hurt all the other people, so that's why I'm going to go back.” The boy only got a few steps forward before Wraith was free, his plan falling apart as soon as he felt the creature's spindly fingers wrap around his forearms. And it didn't look like she was wasting much time, either. Irisis could only watch in horror as the Alien's jaws parted to clear the way for the second set to snap out. Wraith's anticipation was clearly shown by the way her whole body quivered. And then she was gone. The entire wall of the temple had completely disappeared as well as any standing mirrors. There was only the colorful flash as a large object burst through the maze with such force that it crash through the opposite wall and sent the Xenomorph flying off the mountainside towards the depths below, her limbs and tail flailing madly as they searched for anything to grab. But of course, there's nothing to grab when you're free falling. When the dust finally settled, Irisis blinked his eyes open before rubbing them in disbelief. In front of him was a bus. A bus that was painted every color of the rainbow and, despite crashing through two walls, was completely unharmed. Not a single scratch. With a squeak, the bus's door opened to reveal a grinning old man in the driver's seat. “The name's Smithy!” the man crowed happily. “'N' this here bus is gonna take you on a vacation you won't believe! C'mon in!” “The gas is getting to me,” Irisis muttered to himself, looking into one window to see a girl looking back at him. When he looked back to the door, someone dressed as a miner was sitting on the bottom step, swinging his cotton-stuffed legs happily. “Hi there, I'm Climber.” His mud-splotched eyes and drawn-on mouth were lit with happiness as he walked up to Irisis and took his arm. “Is... Miss Tori with you?” he asked, leading the boy towards the bus doors. “She's nice.” “W-who?” Irisis stammered, looking downright confused. But, despite the craziness of the situation, the boy found himself drawn to the bus, as if that was the right place to go. Resting a hand on the handrail, Irisis stepped into the bus only to be met by a young girl. “Nice to meet you, Irisis,” the girl smiled, reaching out a black-banded hand. “I'm Eve and I've been looking forward to meeting you! You're going to love this vacation!” she grinned. In the back of his mind, Irisis heard the door close and the bus lurched into gear, driving straight forward and off into the sky as if it had been a road all along. Behind them, the temple walls slowly built themselves, the maze become complex once again, and the stone resettling until it looked as if nothing had happened at all – as if they had never been there in the first place. And far below, the mice buried deep within the snow were quite startled when a giant black creature fell on top of their home, the very angry Wraith only demolishing it more as her tailed whipped around in rage. Never before had she been so disgusted! Wraith stood and looked back up at temple that lay far up the mountainside. A long, annoying trek it would be, but if she wanted to get back to the Island of Rifts, she'd just have to go crawling back to where Hart was probably still fighting Hyoji. She would not allow herself to be blown away by that Irregular rift when Arco decided it was time for it to explode or implode, or whatever that thing did. Letting out a scream of frustration, the Xenomorph began to grueling walk back up to the temple. ----------------------------------------------------- “HimynameisClaraandI'msogladtomeetyoucanwebefriends?” the never-ending ball of energy called Clara blurted out, madly shaking Irisis's hand as they drove higher into the sky. “Uh... sure” was all the boy could think of saying as he took a step backwards. “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!” Clara squealed, bouncing up and down in her seat long enough for Irisis to quickly slip away. That was.... overwhelming to say the least. They slowly ascended up past the clouds and it was only then was the back of the bus lit by the soft rays of the far-off sun. Someone was sitting quietly there, her hands folded quaintly in her lap. When she finally looked up, Irisis felt his heart flip inside his chest. He walked forward shyly, clutching his scythe nervously in front of him. “I'm Irisis,” he whispered, noting the “Hello my name is___” sticker that was stuck to her shirt. Ant looked up at him, smiled, and patted the seat next to her. Irisis knew it was love at first sight. |
