Haydn: [/He was in his room, doing a small inventory of his 'supplies'] [/Mostly cat cans and bags, but also his own clothes] [/He knew eventually his brother would want to leave and so did he] [/He didn't want to be locked up again, as much as he adored being part of the MC... but then he adored being apart of the Elite as well. Maybe his loyality to entire orgainizations was more fickle then he thought] [/He was more of a 'one person' sort of man. He'd remain loyal to Ackerly but oh... she's changed. Not nearly as fun as she used to be, which was quite sad. But the time gap was simply too much to overcome now to overcome- he missed the good old day, but 'good old days' is all they will be now]

Maitho: *He gathered up just enough to fill one bag. While he was rather proud of his collection of blankets and sweaters, they were all largely unnecessary to him. It was a fun game while it lasted, but a new game, a better one, was starting. He did pack a few loose sweaters and a couple of his favorite blankets, but most of all, he made sure he had his book of pressed flowers, his mother's perfume, and the unfinished blanket.**He dressed in women's clothes again, but this time they were not so feminine and delicate. He'd even forgone a skirt, choosing a pair of tight faux leather leggings instead. His oversized plaid flannel shirt covered up any parts that would give away his true sex.* ...are you ready to go?

Haydn: Ah~ So my little sister returns to me again. [/He crackles and takes his duffle back packed with as much warm clothes and items he could fit in it- wearing the same clothes he did when he took Maitho out shopping with the addition of a rather... furry scarf around his neck] And yes~<3 Quite ready.

Maitho: Yes, you'll be seeing your little sister quite a bit... or at least that's what we'll really be to each other. I'll explain once we're out of here. *He shoulders his own bag easily, and he quietly starts for one of the exiting tunnels, one that is closer to the direction of the brothels.* If anyone tries to talk to us, we run. All right? You know the way to the surface at least.

Haydn: Oh I can't wait~! [/He follows along, but pauses long enough to leave behind a folded letter behind on a table before skipping back along to catch up] And yes, yes I do. [/Hums] Not that you know them any less than I.

Maitho: Oh, I know them, but it was just in case we got separated. *He hums, content with himself.* How well do you know the brothels if it's not impolite to ask.

Haydn: Well... asides from it being some years since properly walking about them... they were more 'hunting grounds' than anything else. So not too well. [/sighs]

Maitho: It's a very fruitful hunting ground to be sure... but they're going to be our garden now as well. We need to groom them to suit our needs.

Haydn: Ooh- now that sounds like a very fun game... [/He ponders the possibilities and realizes something] Are... we going to be pimps?

Maitho: *chuckles* Quiet, dear brother, or they might hear us~ *He really does find Haydn amusing during times like these.* I'll tell you once we're out of these tunnels. I can't bare to lose this game between Price and myself.

Haydn: [/He laughs a little more quietly, but he now was obviously far more excited] [/He takes the others arm and hurries Maitho along, as if he couldn't wait to start]

[/Price was too busy chopping the little pine needle tree into smaller bits for firewood to hear anything for now]

Maitho: *He changes to Haydn's speed, more than happy to get out.* We'll be meeting a friend of mine first before we go. He wanted to introduce us to our new home himself, the sentimental idiot.

Haydn: [/They finally reach the hatch and after opening it up, and soon they were out in the familiar snow] Oh? A friend of yours is a friend of mines. Who is it?

Maitho: My old boss, at the club I used to sing? I got to talk to him when Porter took me to the surface, and he agreed to set me up.

Haydn: Oh how kind of him! [/He grins, stretching out his arms, happy to be in the fresh air again] Well lets go meet with him then~

Maitho: Of course. He's over on Division, so it's not far. He doesn't know you're coming, but it won't be a problem. *He walks even faster now, more sure of himself up here than down below with the echo.* As for whether or not we're going to be pimps, it's not that far off.

Haydn: If we're going to be pimps, I think we're a bit under dressed. [/Crackles] But yes, don't worry. I'll be on my best behavior- though I'm curious. You also said I'll be seeing more of my 'sister'- what name shall I call you by now?

Maitho: Bianca Summers has a nice ring to it. *smiles* As for us being underdressed, I have a feeling we won't feel like that for long. Fortune will explain more than I can right now. *Although it's only here or there, more red lights hanging above the doors can be seen.*

Haydn: The red lights look so festive this time of year... [/He rubs his hands together, grinning] [/The 'scarf' sounds off a grumpy mewl before burrying its head further into the coat, swishing it's tail for a moment] And you're right, Bianca is a lovely name.

Maitho: *He makes a face when he hears the cat, but he just sighs and lets it go.* We're almost there, so please, keep your darling quiet. I'm sure cats are more than welcome there, but I don't want any interruptions.

Haydn: Not to worry- I picked little Princess for a reason. [/He gives her a little scratch behind the ear] Very well behaved. More so when we're inside.

Maitho: All right, I'm counting on you.

Fortune: *He came from his second job to meet with them. His eyes are less heavily done than when he's running the Little Touch, but he's still very much in drag. His wig is tucked into the collar of his coat to keep him warmer than his scarf will allow. It's clear he's been standing there for a while, just waiting.**He thinks he sees Maitho, but he hesitates because there's someone with him. However, he doesn't look away.*

Haydn: [/The furball of cat nuzzles itself back into place, looking more of a scarf now and the illusion would be more complete if it weren't for the gentle purring now] Oooh, I might be looking at him now Bianca~ What does your boss look like?

Maitho: African Arcadian... probably dressed as a woman, but it's still pretty obvious he's a man. Just a very pretty one.

Haydn: Thats him then! [/He waves enthusiastically at the stranger] Lovely fellow~

Maitho: *turns a little more red* Yes... he is.

Fortune: *Realizing that it's okay to speak with them, he puts on a large smile.* Hey, you made it out all right? Who's this?

Maitho: ...my brother and soon to be my boyfriend. *He smiles back, letting himself truly relax for a moment.* It's not far from here, is it? I've never been to this one myself.

Fortune: No, not far... *He hears the purring and chuckles. His holds his hand up by Haydn's neck, but he doesn't touch Princess until he gets the go ahead.*

Haydn: [/Princess senses the incoming hand and stretches suddenly to bump it's forehead against the pam] *Crackles again* Well if you got her approval and my.... [/Gives Maitho a sudden surprised yet amused expression] Boyfriend? Well then, alright~ haha! [/Giddly claps his hands] Oooh all the drama we could play! It'd be so much fun!

Maitho: Yes, boyfriend. We can't exactly try and explain why my brother and I are sharing a bed together... and yes, it sounded more fun.

Fortune: *He scratches behind the cat's ear and lets her rub her face on his palm.* Yeah, it's not far from here. It's on the corner of Elm and Division, and they're both the busiest streets I could find you without having to make up some power for you.

Maitho: Good, then let's get going. I want out of this cold as soon as possible.

Haydn: Oh yes~ And please tell me there's a window. The kind that lets in sun. Not that this is any kind of weather for a open window but you know. [/Shrugs]

Fortune: There will be one, I promise. Overlooking Division and, yes, plenty of sun after whatever dank place you were holed up in. *He stops petting Princess and starts leading the way towards the heart of the Slum brothels. Even in the winter, the streets are being walked by small clusters from one to six girls, all calling out to men in smart coats and hats.* ...just mind your bags. Lots of runabouts here too.

Maitho: Of course. There always are. *He puts his bag in front of him instead of behind.* Thank you again for going to all this trouble.

Fortune: No trouble at all, Buttercup. *He chuckles again but goes quiet when he leads them to the Cat Corner. It's a very tall but narrow brick building, and it really does look like the builders just threw up a building there simply because they didn't know what else to do with the small, open space between the two much older buildings on either side. There doesn't even seem to be a way in through the back as there doesn't appear to be a back to the building at all.**However the front is made up to look very grand. Two concrete cats painted gold keep watch over the entrance which is a very large red door with a cat's eye for a window.* Welcome home, darlings~

Haydn: [/He all but squeaks in absoute delight] Oh sister lover darling, it's simply ADORABLE~! [/He sharp movement to embrace a wall nearly knocks Princess off, and she clings to his back with a annoyed growl, swipping at the back of his head to get him to stand straight at least]

Maitho: *He shakes his head with a smile.* As long as he's happy, I'm more than sure I can make do. How many girls are working out of here?

Fortune: Only four, five counting yourself, but the master here is very... well, he's young and stupid. Between you and me, I don't even think he wants to work here. It'll be very easy for you do what you need to out of this place.

Haydn: [/He's back to behaving again- more or less] [/He's like a child that's just been met face to face with the ultimate christmas gift] Oh I'm sure we can make it the most popular place on the strip~ Sir? You have my forever gratitude! [/He bows with a dramatic flurish, again, causing the cat to bat him again until he was standing straight again] Shall we see the inside?

Fortune: Yes, of course. I arranged for the girls to have the night off, so you can settle in without interruption. *He starts up the few steps, offering his hand to Maitho to help him up since they're rather steep.* You have the top room to yourselves, and part of your pay will be taken as rent since the employees here usually don't live out of this building.

Maitho: That's fine. I'm not very interested in the money anyway, but I do have to ask if there's anywhere to cook?

Fortune: No, I'm afraid you'll have to order take out or go somewhere to sit and eat, but I'll look up some safe places for you.

*Fortune unlocks the front door and turns on the light for the foyer. There is a large, mahogany desk beside the stairs, and there's a room to either side. The one on the right has a closed door with a plaque reading 'office' while the other appears to be a simple seating room for patrons to wait in.**Everything has a very art deco appearance to it, lots of geometric patterns and lined with painted gold. Most of the fabric is white although there are touches of deep red and jet black as well.*

Haydn: [/He's much calmer now, humming happily as he looks over all the decorations] [/Oh surely he would put his own personal touches but it was a far cry from the sewers] [/In fact there was hardly much he wanted to do to change the appearances at all- maybe some pretty drapping fabric and some of his own oil paintings given he can manage to get his hands on the proper materials but...] No kitchen hm... [/Before any of that, they should invest in a mini fridge and perhaps a microwave just so they wouldn't have to go out every day] It's certainly a lovely little place~ Certainly can't wait to put in our own little 'touch of sass' [/A play of words for fun]

Fortune: *He laughs quietly, taking one of the keys from behind the desk.* Oh, I'm sure you'll do more than just that, but it's not really my business to know. There's four floors, but the rooms are all pretty small.

Maitho: I'm sure they're all lovely, Fortune, but let's drop off our things first before you give us the full tour.

Fortune: Of course. *He leads them up the narrow stairs, humming one of the old tunes while they climb.**The stairs creaked with every step any of them make, but the wood is solid.**The doors to the other rooms are left open, and all of them have a very 20's feel to them. Beads and sheer fabrics hung from the ceiling, record players and antique radios for decorations. Again, the geometric patterns are common, and the color scheme hasn't changed.*

Haydn: [The cat starts to fuss a little and stretched lazily to bat at the beads- but being a few inches too far and Haydn walking too quickly, it gave up and drooped over the shoulder instead] Oh do the radios work? [/He notes them with interest]

Fortune: As far as I know, they do. When this place is up and running, they usually turn them on to try and drown out the other rooms. *They finally come to their room which is actually locked.* Like I said, this place is yours for the day, so you can explore and poke around as you like.

*When he gets the door unlocked and opened, a very simple room awaits them. There's a queen-sized bed which takes up most of the room, and it has a wrought-iron bedframe and black velvet headboard. There's no wall decorations, but a set of dark red curtains is drawn over the window.*

Fortune: They emptied out the room when I said you would be living here, so you can fill it with your own things later. There's a bathroom across the hall as well. Clawfoot tub even. It's pretty sparse there too since no one really used it other than restroom breaks. Sorry that it's not as private as it could be.

Haydn: Oh nothing a little innovation can't help, mm Bianca~? [/He drops his duffle with a loud 'thump', and Princess bounds off to make herself at home at the windowsill]

Maitho: Yes, I'm sure we can make it all work. *He's not sure what they'll do with the place just yet, so a blank slate was perfect.* I'm more interested in getting this place to be interesting enough for Elite business.

Fortune: Isn't that a bit too risky for you guys?
Haydn: Life is nothing but risk~ [/He takes off his coat and draped it over a chair] And besides, what better way to get a man talking? [/Chuckles] In my service days, the rookies loved 'impressing' the ladies. Give them war stories and 'Top secret' information for the whole hero scenario. Pretty sad really.

Maitho: *amused* If only those ladies knew all it took to impress you was a pretty voice and an actual kitty cat.

Haydn: [/Childish glee] I love cats though~

Maitho: Yes, I'm well aware. That's part of the reason I picked this place, but the other was because I doubted Price would ever bother to look for me here. *He reaches into the pocket of his jacket and pulls out a wad of money.* Can you go get us a few things, Fortune? Smokes for me- Lucky Strike please- and some things for that cat of his?

Fortune: Sure, but um... mind if I ask who this is all from? There's over fifty dollars here.

Maitho: Just money I picked up from Price and Dorian, nothing serious.

Haydn: Oh yes that reminds me- I'm sure my dear sister has told you already but do be careful if you come across a certain british red head.
Fortune: Oh, I'm well aware of who Price is... although I've never heard of a Dorian before.

Maitho: You can't miss him either. He's a User from the Outside with a strong accent and terrible taste in clothes. *waves off the entire idea of Dorian* Just focus on keeping Price off our radar. You're probably going to be the first one he goes to.

Haydn: Those both are far too nosey for their own good. [/Sighs, hands on hips]

Maitho: Nosy in all the wrong ways, yes, not to mention places. Ant might not like the idea of me leaving, but at least it will get us more information.

Fortune: *sighs* All right. I really don't want to hear any more than I absolutely have to, so I'll be back with your things in a bit. Have to get somewhere that's still open.
