Haydn: [/It's the morning of, and he comes back into the brothel with his hair still damp from a shower] [/He greeted the girls as kindly as you would children, hopping up the stairs to look for his dear 'partner'] Oh Bianca~? I hope you hadn't worried too much- I ran into a little something that needed dealing with. You know how it is. Maitho: What kind of little something? *He's dressed in a 20's robe and playing with his hair while he sits on their bed.* Are you all right? *He brushes his hand against his ear and hisses a little.* ...dammit, I don't think I did it right. Haydn: Mmm? Did what right, love~? [/He flops on bed, hands out streached] There was a woman, out on her own trying to find old Boss lady. I couldn't very well leave it at that, so I gave her a cut and a red herring. Maitho: I just pierced my ears is all... But a cut? What kind of cut? Haydn: Oh, no, no- may I see? You really should of waited for me! [/He sits back up, tucking his feet under his lap] And a rather nasty one on her belly- nearly gutted her like a pig. But if she were to live, she may take her attention elsewhere. Maitho: Hmm... if you want, you can look, but it's not too bad. And a pig? You must not have liked her very much. Haydn: No, not very much. [/Sighs as he reaches out to push Maitho's hair out the way to see clearly] She was awfully childish though- I had to squeeze a smile out. So ungrateful... She was so ugly before but now she'll be the center of attention~ Maitho: *He tilts his head to the side for Haydn to see better.* I hate to know what you think is ugly in a woman. *chuckles* Still... what clue did you give her to make sure she didn't chase after either of us? Haydn: More or less I made her think dear old Valley Wally was the one that ordered a hit on our fallen Gabriel. [/Hums] What did you use? A sewing needle? Maitho: A sewing needle, ice, and a potato. *shrugs* It's how my mother would reopen hers, and I thought I could do it. After all, my hands used to be very steady, but they... aren't anymore. Haydn: [/tsktsk] You'll have to let this heal and close. I'm sure a lady like yourself will want to look 'her' best~? [/Hums] As for what I consider ugly... well that's a bit difficult to describe. I suppose I don't like the plain school girl act. Maitho: Ah, so that was it. *smiles* Then yes, I can understand why you would be so upset with her. And don't worry, I never planned on trying to look like one of them. Haydn: [/Crackles] My dear brother, even if you tried your best, you could never be one of the plain ones. Maitho: No, I don't suppose I could. Shame, that, since it would help me a lot with my work. Thanks for giving them a look, though. Next time I'll have you do my ears. Haydn: [/He nods, tapping his chin] Might as well do them proper... with a nice starter pair of earnings, mm? You'll need to keep them open for a week after the needle after all. Maitho: I suppose. Heh... of all the things I do for this role, piercing my ears has me disgusted with myself the most. Haydn: Oh? Whatever for? [/He blinks, confused] Sugar (10:05:55 PM): Maitho: I don't know. I know I might dress like a woman, but it's not as if I feel like one. Even the clothes I wear are just part of a disguise rather than something I want to do for my own pleasure. Haydn: Well you do know that piercing the ears was originally a custom for men? [/He grins at a sudden realization] I could get my own ear pierced finally as well... Done it before, but I got such the scolding for it. Maitho: What? When? Haydn: When I was still in Sin. Had little gold studs after a very entralling classical poetry class. But it was also just before a holiday break. [/Huffs] Don't know why I let them talk me into taking them out. Point is we can do them together this time. Maitho: Sounds like a wonderful plan to me. *chuckles* Your poetry class sounds like it was a very interesting affair. Haydn: I got a liiitttle excited learning Shakespeare had his own ears pierced. [/Hums] I do rather like his work- even if it may not even be 'his' work... but in the end, who really cares? Maitho: He's the one who managed to make money off of them, so of course he's the one who gets remembered. I didnt know that, though. Haydn: Ooh, I could teach you all sorts of things! I think you'd really like some of the ballads. We can make a fun little night of it- ears pierced, poetry, that sort of thing. Maitho: I'll take you up on that. *pauses* None of your blood got on that girl, right? Haydn: My blood? She never even tried. [/Chuckles] Maitho: Aww, that's a shame. *sighs* Another good soul, I'd wager. Haydn: Off to avenge her old.... whatever old Gabey was to her. [/Shrugs] Real shame, hrm,mm... Maitho: Gabriel was a fool. He didn't have any direction in his life after the war, and he was grasping at staws to find himself in his old age. *He runs his fingers through his hair.* He's probably happier dead if there is an afterlife... |
