Morgan: *She was rather excited to show Dorian the new house, but she was mindful to find out when there were the least number of people in her neighborhood. Just in case he was still nervous about being seen. She'd rented a van for the move, one big enough to fit all of her meager furniture in one go.* ...and it's got two bedrooms and one and a half baths. It's a one story, but it's not too cramped. Nice little yard. *She rattles on when she turns onto the street.* See? It's that blue and yellow one right there. And look, you can see the beach from here, and I don't think it's even that far of a walk~

Dorian: *He wasn't expecting her to call and certainly not to find out she'd bought a house already. He figured she'd find a new place... but an apartment, not a whole building.* *But sitting next to her in the front of the van makes him smile, hearing her chatter away. It's good she's excited... happy.* You've thought this through. *He does worry if she can do all this by herself... he wishes he could have at least offered to help her out. How much does Morgan earn anyway?

He's knows it's wrong to assume she can't support herself and a new house... but it all seems so sudden.*

Morgan: Yeah. Well, I tried to, but I've never really bought a house before. Had my dad come over and look at it after I was trying to decide between this place and an even bigger house. This one has better bones according to him... and even with a kid, I can't see us needing a huge place.

Dorian: *There's a little wash of relief and anxiety when she says 'us,' but he has to wonder if she just means her and the child.* Your parents are on board then? *He hasn't even met them.... christ.*

Morgan: Huh? Oh yeah~ Mom's already offered to pitch in for some of the baby stuff, but I said that I wanted to talk to you about it first. *She backs into the drive and puts the van in park.**Offers him a sheepish smile.* I mean, I know the kind of things I'd like... but you're a parent now too.

Dorian: *He smiles* We can go shopping later if you like? *Buying the baby stuff seems like a good first step*

Morgan: *laughs a little as she opens the door and hops out* That'd be a good idea. I've got this thing rented for the day, but you know I don't have much to really move in. Might as well make good use out of that money~

Dorian: *Pauses as he gets out*.... how much stuff do you intend to get....? *If she's thinking about using the van...*

Morgan: Well, there's actual house stuff too. Like I don't have a dining room table or chairs, and I found a nice set at some home and crafts place. Read wood, nice and solid but not too big. Then there's the cradle, changing table, dresser... because, while this place is nice, the closet space isn't ideal.

Dorian: Ah. No problem. *Tilts his head* Probably need to get some proper kitchen stuff too, if you'll be staying here... best not to eat out so much with.... you know...

Morgan: Ah... yeah, that's true. *heh* See, I knew you would be a big help~

Dorian: *He smiles* Be happy to cook stuff for you too, make sure you've got some ready meals for a few days. *He picks up the first of the boxes from the van*

Morgan: *She grabs some of her luggage which she packed clothes in rather than bringing home even more boxes. Nice thing about running two businesses was she had no shortage of boxes.* That would be nice. You know I can't cook much of anything... and your stuff tastes pretty good.

Dorian: *He laughs* It's really very basic. But I'll work on improving. *He leans over and gives her a peck on the cheek* Have to make sure you're both getting your vitamins.

Morgan: Yeah...~ *She goes up first and unlocks the door. Stepping inside, there's not much of a difference in space, other than the hallway off to the left of the living room/dining room area. The kitchen is also on the left, only a counter withing sight of the door.**The inside smells like fresh paint, and Morgan blinks in surprise.* ...the walls weren't white when I saw the place... *She sets down the bags in the middle of the room for a moment to go check the other rooms real quick.**From down the small hall.* Oh wow! They even did a couple accent walls for the bedrooms!

Dorian: Seems like they wanted you to be comfortable. *He puts the box down on the kitchen counter for now and follows her* Is it a good colour?

Morgan: Ha, well, for me it is~ *The bedrooms are both pretty spacious, but she's in the master bedroom at the farthest end of the hall. She can't help but grin.**The largest wall is a dusty blue.* It's the same in the baby's room~ No stripes or anything, but I think that makes it easier to work with.

Dorian: Hmm. Well I suppose it's a good thing you didn't get furniture already. *Meaning now they can get things that match*

Morgan: Ha, it must've been my parents and maybe my little sister. They know my tastes as well as my customers do, after all. *She comes over and gives him a kiss.* We'll be sure to get plenty of things we both like~ They just don't know you yet.

Dorian: *He gives her a hug, mindful of not squeezing too hard* I'll make time. Don't worry. *Though he's the one nearly having a heart attack thinking about meeting her family* ...everything is just a bit backwards.

Morgan: I you say so? Don't worry, they're the type to "roll with the punches" as they say. They'll be happy to meet you, promise.

Dorian: Hope so. *Pecks her on the cheek* Alright, we'd better unpack. Let me know if there's anything too heavy. *He smiles* Don't want to wear you out.

Morgan: I'll be okay as long as I don't try to lift any of the furniture on my own~

Dorian: We'll do those last then. Where should we put the clothes and things...?

Morgan: In here would be good, actually. I just set the stuff out there because I didn't know what was going on. *laughs as she heads back out* I tried to make sure to label everything, and the scissors for cutting the tape should be in my purse yet. Won't take long~

Dorian: *He moves a couple more boxes into the bedroom, putting them in the corner so they're out of the way. Because there's no where to put anything he just cuts the tape so she can find things if need be* *Otherwise he just follows the labels.*

Morgan: *She wasn't kidding when she said she didn't have much. There's no shelves, only one dresser, a couch, a coffee table, a TV and a stand. Her bed turns out to only be a mattress, not even having a bed frame. The kitchen utensils were few and far between, and she had just enough plates and bowls and things for four people, tops. Her laptop- something she only ever used for work- and a radio were the last things she brought in herself.*

Dorian: *He stands by the mattress where it's set up, scratching his head* ...yeah, first thing we're getting you is a proper bed.

Morgan: It just happened to fit on top of the built-in dresser in the old apartment, so I didn't even think about it.

Dorian: Hey, I know you're not very big now but later you're.... gonna have back issues and stuff. You need a proper bed. *He sighs* *He'd say something about how she's being too relaxed about all this, but he doesn't know how it won't come out wrong*

Morgan: Yeah, you're probably right. To be honest, though, I figure women all around the world do well enough with less than I have even now. Not that I'd mind a proper bed~

Dorian: I know, but no sense in making do when you can have the basics. *he shakes out a blanket* I can bring some stuff over to make up the difference until we get you set up with your own things.

Morgan: As long as I'm not putting you out of anything either.

Dorian: *Smiles* ... well you wouldn't be if we shared. But there's plenty either way, so.

Morgan: ...well, I got the idea you weren't sure about living together when you had your garage and the MC headquarters or whatever.

Dorian: I wanted to make sure you had your own space. Sorry if I seemed put out by it...

Morgan: It's okay. *gives him a soft smile* Just means we both really need to talk more.

Dorian: Maybe. *He sits down, right on the floor since there's no where else* Have you thought about a name?

Morgan: Mmm... not really? I don't even know what it is yet, but the girls have been writing down suggestions and putting them in a goldfish bowl. *chuckles* At least they're having fun~

Dorian: *He snorts* Keeping it a surprise? Well, which names do you like?

Morgan: I like shorter names, easier for adults to remember, so then they're not correcting their teachers and stuff all the time. *chuckles again* I can't tell you how many teachers assumed I was a boy... Really silly, but oh well.

Dorian: Hmm, so something girly or boyish? Make it clear?

Morgan: Yeah. I mean, I know that's not always ideal either, but it's not like we can predict what they're going to like or dislike. Just sort of how it goes.

Dorian: *He shrugs* I wouldn't worry, as long as it's not something too old fashioned. *Smiles* I know from experience anyway.

Morgan: You have a lovely name, but fair enough~

Dorian: Should we wait until the kid's born before naming them or come up with some options now?

Morgan: Options now are fine~ I don't plan on being surprised about the sex, so we can drop off whatever half doesn't fit.

Dorian: *He nods, then....* ... afraid I didn't really do any research on names.

Morgan: It's okay. I haven't either.

Dorian: Maybe that's where we should start.... *Thinking*

Morgan: It'd be a good idea~ I'll be sure to write them down as I think of them when we're not around to talk to one another.

Dorian: *... of course he's just going to end up copying down names from movie credits and random things* Good idea. I'll keep short and simple in mind. *He looks around* For now though, we need to make this a home, and not just a place to crash in.

Morgan: Yeah, that's for sure. *She's willing to admit that she's never had a "home" for herself or anyone else after she moved out of her parents' place.* No time like the present, really. I mean, I can always put away my clothes later, and other than that, there's not much to unpack yet.

Dorian: Okay, what do you think you want to get first?

Morgan: Probably the bed. I didn't think about it much before, but you're right. Maybe one that's actually big enough for two? Rather than this twin one? I mean, I won't throw this mattress out, but it's still a twin.

Dorian: If... if you want to get a double, we can.

Morgan: Only if you're actually going to share it with me sometimes~

Dorian: *Smiles* Does that need an answer? With an offer like that~

Morgan: Then yes, I think getting a double bed is in order.

Dorian: *He leans over and kisses her* Okay, we'd best get going before the shops shut.
