"... so nobody knows a way to get back, and we've each been saddled with a partner." Sean murmurs, arms and legs folded, shorts riding up a little so that the undergrowth tickles the backs of their thighs. Their soft, pale skin has been rubbed pink by grass and foliage where they've brushed against it, and their long, shapely legs are already covered in little scratches here and there from scraping the wrong thing, but they haven't been complaining about it. Honestly, it's hard to tell gender; they don't have much of a chest, and their name is male, but with their long hair, pretty face, those gorgeous legs, and the mishmash of gender-identity that makes up their outfit, not to mention their incredibly soft voice, it's enough to throw you easily into confusion. Their new partner - the Leormon, Sieg - lies beside them, eyes shut, tail flicking lazily. Sean had gone to bed like usual and woken up with Sieg licking their face to wake them up. A quick information dump later - that they'd landed in something called the Digital World; that the device they carried was a Digivice, a symbol of their chosen status; that humans were only ever called here when the world was in need of a hero - and they'd got to searching through the bizarre landscape of File Island. It hadn't taken long to find others; they seemed to have all landed near each other, by coincidence or, more likely, by divine intention, and now they were drawn into a group. Introductions were over - Sean had introduced themselves with just their first name, keeping quiet until everyone else had said the same; they'd only just spoken up now, to confirm what everyone already knew. They lick their lips, slowly looking around the group. "So... what do you want to do?" |

Lilly was more interested in her new partner, Blacktailmon than how she got here. Last she remembers was falling asleep in bed and then waking up to see her partner's face. The cat digimon looked as if she was gonna be in tears, mumbling to herself about her standing or something. Lilly patted her on the back and smiled as she spoke to her new partner. "It's nice to finally meet you, Blacktailmon! I'm Lilly!" She says cheerfully while handing the black cat digimon a handkerchief. "Please, wipe your tears away, I'm here now!" Blacktailmon felt like she'd explode from all this happy talk, backhanding the handkerchief out of Lilly's outstretched hand as she got up and walked away from her. "I don't need your pity and I DON'T NEED YOU!" She hissed, baring her teeth at the poor girl. She was gonna make it clear that this was no partnership. "Now how did that work in my dreams..?" Lilly murmured, staring down at her dark purple and white D-Arc. "Oh! Now I remember! Bad kitty!" Lilly says suddenly as she swung the device at Blacktailmon, a lash of energy appearing out of it and smacking against the digimon's shoulder. "I don't like using tough love, but if you don't listen to me, I'll have to whip you until you do." "OW! What the hell?!" Blacktailmon yelled, wincing as she held her shoulder in surprise. "Xros Loaders aren't supposed to have whips!" It was then that Blacktailmon got a better look at the digivice before Lilly was about to swing again. She never heard of such a type before! Maybe she should play along until she got more info.. "Wait wait! I was wrong! I'm sorry!" "That's more like it.. and I'm sorry for hurting you, but you are an evil digimon and I have to reform you somehow." Lilly spoke softly, offering a smile. "What's your name? Or do you not have one?" "My name? It was Lilithm- err... yes, ahem.. call me Lilith for now." Lilith coughed into her glove as she looked away. "Okay, Lilith! Now, let's go back over to the others." Lilly says, leading the female digimon back over to the group. She was just in time to hear the talk about where they were and what the devices were that they carried. But this was things that she already knew from her dreams. When the boy..? Girl..? spoke, she held up her hand. "Then let's explore the island! There's bound to be something for us to do here!" Dreams. Darkness. Hey that looks fun. Boy wouldn't it be cool if he was that big of a star. What's HER name? Hey what is this giant Dinosaur doing? Tyson pushed himself up from the ground and rubbed at his face. Blades of grass being pushed away as he looked around. This was NOT his room. This was NOT where he had fallen asleep. Like the rest of the kids, he listened to the history lesson that just left him with a heavy sigh and a headache. Stuff like this didn't happen. Not even in video games. Something strange was going on, sure, and it seemed like some sort of sentient creatures who swore they were friends had shown up to help them or something. He wasn't very clear on that part, but the guys who stood closest to him seemed friendly enough and he couldn't help but feel calm around them despite one of them being more than three times his size. Tyson stood up for the first time and brushed his pants off silently as the dust and grass were swatted from his persons. He stretched his arms and back as if he was getting ready for something before finally letting out a booming voice. "I'm probably the oldest and smartest. So I'm responsible for everyone's safety." Tyson tossed the golden rectangle shaped device around in the palm of his hand a few times. It always helped him think and stay calm and was a habit he picked up from baseball. "I think we should stay in this general area. Exploring is bad and it might be dangerous. We should camp out here." He paused again before adding in his last two cents while looking across the small gaggle of people that had gathered. "Preferably able to get something to protect ourselves with." On that last note, he plucked the bamboo sword from the little runt standing next to him and swung it like a bat a few times to get familiar with the weight. "Dude no way. That's no way to use a sword." the little reptile in disguise complained a bit while the large Triceratops like create stayed in his comfortable lounging position with his legs tucked under it's stomach and front legs under it's chin. |

"Hey now! Don't you all have any fuckin' respect!" Yelled a small dinosaur made out of legos, stomping it's plastic-y feet in the grass. It pointed blocky claws at the tallest of the humans, grunting angrily. "Just because you're tall, doesn't mean you're the boss of me! I am the most powerful of the Metal Empire family of Digimon, and I'll-" Two glove-covered hands gently reached out to snap the ToyAgumon's mouth shut, as the dark-haired Japanese girl they belonged to leaned in close to give him a peck on the cheek. "Now now, don't be like that. He's not necessarily wrong . . . maybe he has some experience with camping out?" Kasumi, the pretty young actress, smiled brightly over at Tyson. "I mean, personally I'd prefer to peek around myself if only to get a better idea of where we are, or find some signs of civilization . . . but there are merits to camping here too. Assuming there isn't a big stompy monster in the area that wants to eat us all, like in 'Dread Monster Phylla'. I don't think we'll be able to get help from the Japanese Self-Defense Force here . . wherever here is, of course." |

Sean absorbs what everyone is saying, and finally lends their own soft voice to the discussion, cutting through the air by virtue of clarity rather than volume. "Even if we camp out, we need to explore at least a little to find somewhere suitable." they say, looking for all the world like the eye of the storm - it's like the egos going through the air just pass right through them. "We can't just camp forever... wouldn't it be best to make use of daylight and look around at least a little bit?" |

"Somehow I doubt you're the oldest, buddy." Joe finally spoke up. He had awakened before the others and looked around a bit, which earned him one of these digivices, but no partner came for him. Honestly he doesn't even know how he got here or what he was doing previously.. all he knows is that he woke up here. That's not to say he doesn't know certain things, just he has no idea what he was doing before he arrived here.. where ever here is. "And I'm certainly not gonna follow someone who just announces that he's gonna be the leader." "Anyone that wishes to take a look around.. come with me." Joe says rather calmly, shoving the digivice back into his jacket pocket. "Anyone that wishes to stay.. well that's your prerogative. Either way, I'll wait for five minutes." Leaning against a tree, Joe waited to see if anyone'd come with him. If not, that's fine too. Just meant they were scared and didn't know what to do. |

"..." Staying quiet had worked well enough for the youngest of the group, having opted to take a seat on a rock formation so he could keep typing away at a little tablet he carried. Waking up in this weird place wasn't so surprising, Rory always had weird dreams, but what was surprising was why his mother hadn't suddenly showed up and strangled him. It was almost enough to make him think that this wasn't a dream. Almost. But if this was a dream, he could at least do more than continue work on his tablet, he figured, and finally the young boy looked up at the others, arguing about something. Staying or looking around. "Holding one's ground does well when they're out in the wilderness, but only if there's a possibility of rescue in the foreseeable future. We have no clue where we are, right? Then perhaps it'd be a good idea to scout the territory, find food sources, water sources, potential intelligent life. ... I know a bit about survival in the wild, my mother 'lost' me for about three months in the Appalachians last year." "Uh, you guys FOUND intelligent life. Us," Theo piped up, on the other side of the rock formation. Finding Rory had been such an exciting thing that he needed a bit of a nap, and as such had been catching a few z's until he realized there was trouble brewing. Not on his watch! "I figure we know a few places, but I mean, you guys are tamers and all, right? Doesn't that mean you got some sorta` goal or something...?" "I only have one goal, and that's to wake up from this dream. Honestly, I am quite enjoying it, don't get me wrong, I appreciate characters in my subconscious who aren't trying to choke me, but I have work to do," Rory said, pulling out the little device he'd found right before he met up with the others and examining it a bit. What a peculiar thing... "If this 'task' will help me get back to work, that'd be for the best. I say we continue our scouting of the surroundings before establishing a base. Splitting up over a little ego-fueled power struggle does neither side any good. If you two are the oldest, you should be acting like it, and not weakening our already-diminutive source of manpower." With his piece said, Rory returned to messing with his tablet, a little annoyed that in his dreams he couldn't get reception. What was he supposed to do for the duration of this if he couldn't read a fake internet? Edited by AnonymousGuemon, Aug 15 2014, 01:28 AM.

Minutes Before "HEY! You're new here! Let's fight!" the strange, black, dragon-like, creature had immediately said as he caught sight of her. She ignored him as she sat cross-legged and staring at the strange device and trio of cards in her hands. "HEY! I'm talking to you! You need to fight me for being on my turf!" the creature continued as the pink-haired girl finally looked up. Standing up from her position, she couldn't help but wonder why she was in her usual white, knee-length skirt and purple blouse. Hadn't she gone to bed in her pajamas? Where was her bed? Why was she in a --- oh screw it. Thrusting her finger at the dragon in what she believed to be epic-like fashion, the young girl decided it was best to act like the hero in her strange dream. "You should introduce yourself before challenging a person!" she demanded boldly. The dragon seemed perplexed. "Wha --- what are you talking about!? Just fight me!" it demanded almost petulantly. It wasn't used to its victims talking back. "Emii Von Eisen, the Blessed Beauty of Iron, demand to know the name of my opponent!" she barked in return, causing the dragon to flinch almost instinctively. "Gah...I'm Ein, a Monodramon. Are you happy now!? FIGHT ME!" Present Ein had two shoe prints still throbbing on its face. It wasn't fair! Who would fly at someone with both feet so suddenly in a brawl!? Who would use such ridiculous poses before a fight!? WHAT KIND OF CREATURE WAS THIS PINK-FURRED FREAK!? Emii had kept silent after her introduction. She had made it short this time considering most of the gather was taller than herself (except for one kid in a labcoat). Listening to the rest of them discuss options (and a couple argue over age) was a bit strange. She had originally thought this to be a dream, but it was starting to feel different from a dream. Was this the illusive Lucid Dream? Or was this real? Her dropkick had felt real anyway. "Exploring sounds good." the second youngest of the group (or she had at least assumed as such) commented. "Maybe we should divide into groups. One group can set up a base and the other explores around the area to see what's going on." she suggested with a smile. "Wait. These things are tamers!?" Ein suddenly cried as he looked at the Agumon, whom he swore was something he had beaten about a week ago --- or had it been a month. So many beatings had been dealt to both him and his victims that they were starting to string together. "Psh! But they look weak!" "Ein, who's the one that beat you unconscious and declared you their sidekick?" Emii suddenly asked sweetly. The poor Monodramon fumed and stopped a clawed foot in rage before sitting down to pout. "I'll go with Joe to explore!" Emii declared like some bold hero of justice. |

"Hey, HEY! Who you callin' weak?! My partner is way tougher-looking than your puny pipsqueak one, you damn vaccine!" ToyAgumon barked out at the Monodramon. He'd quieted down after Kasumi's affectionate method of calming him down, but he wasn't gonna stand for some shitty purple baby dragon talkin' down to his woman! A MAN'S GOTTA DO WHAT A MAN'S GOTTA DO! Kasumi, on the other side, let it roll right off her shoulders. Poor little Monodramon was clearly just a kid itself, like most everything in the area. "Well, if we DO split up a bit, maybe the youngest ones shouldn't go off to do the scouting. I mean, you look pretty tough Joe, but I'd never forgive myself if I let such a cute little girl go off and get hurt." Kasumi frowned lightly at Emii, ever the picture of a proper Oneesama. She couldn't call herself an heiress candidate of the Kotomine Zaibatsu if she didn't act with nobility and responsibility at all times, after all. After a bit of thinking, she smiled brightly. "Why don't you wait here with me Emii-chan, and I'll give you some candy to snack on? Wouldn't that be nice?" Because treating the hotblooded kid like a wee little girl was the best idea, obviously. |

"And what's some pile of scrap got to say about anything! Go back to your junkheap," Ein retorted as he pointed a claw at ToyAgumon. "Ein, hush." Emii scolded as she stared at Kasumi. An exasperated sigh escaped her mouth as she slouched a bit. "Listen once, for I won't say it again!" she declared to Kasumi and everyone else. "I am Emii Von Eisen, the Blessed Beauty of Iron! I just graduated middle school. I am not some grade schooler, no matter my appearance!" she boldly stated and seemed to take a more mild heroic pose (rather than the flashy one Ein had received earlier). |

"Eeeesh, you're all so loud." Claire complains, then pauses "... No wait, if you weren't being so loud I probably wouldn't be paying attention to the conversation, would I?" She looks around behind her. Where did that purple dog... dragon... thingy... with the gem in its head that had insisted on watching her warm up after she woke up in this place earlier go? "Hey! Nanashi! Come over here!" "For the last time, I *do* have a name. It's DORUmon. Stop calling me nameless!" The small creature bounds up beside her. "You said it stands for Digital or Unknown monster. Unknown seems like an appropriate thing to apply to... gaaah! Now's not the time to be discussing nicknames, Nanashi!" She bops the digimon on the nose gently. Admittedly, her definition of gently is... questionable, but fortunately, digital monsters are pretty durable. "Anyhow, I'm all for exploring! Gotta work off my excess energy somehow, and I won't do that standing around here!" She taps a foot impatiently. "Come on, come on! Exploration doesn't do itself, you know!" "I apologize if she comes off as a bit hyperactive. I've been trying to calm her down all morning since she woke up, and, well." "Nanashi" sighs. Not that he isn't just as eager to be going, but the girl's boundless energy is hard for even him to keep up with. |

"Aww, such a cute nickname you've given yourself. You're a real big girl, aren't you? Still, you should stay here with Oneesan." NO EFFECT! Kasumi still treated the short girl like a child, holding out an open bag of rock candy for her. For the time being she'd clearly decided to stay in the clearing to 'look after' some of the others, and her digimon partner didn't seem to have a problem with it. Really, the more time he got to make faces at Monodramon the better! |

Emii took a step back with a surprised expression upon her face. Her statement had been ignored by one of its targets! She was still being treated like a kid! Her confidence had taken a beating as Ein made faces right back at ToyAgumon. "N---no thank you," Emii replied to Kasumi, stammering due to the blow her ego had taken. Glancing towards another girl in the group, the pink-haired girl gave a weak smile towards Lilly. "Ah --- Lily. You believe I'm thirteen years old, right?" the shaken girl asked, ignoring the rock candy being offered as she tried to reclaim some semblance of confidence. |

Lilly looked up from Lilith and smiled at Emii happily. People were paying attention to her aside from arguing and/or talking amongst themselves. Both she and Lilith looked at eachother, then back to Emii. "Well honestly you must be a kid because you're so fla-mmmpf!" Lilith began to say when Lilly suddenly covers her mouth. "Now now, women are sensitive about their breast size, Lilith." Lilly reprimanded, before removing her hand. "Someday if you get breasts, you'll understand." "What?! I'll have you know that I-I.. err.. nevermind.. I understand." Lilith relented, realizing that revealing anything about her past can be dangerous. At least until she can get free from this tamer. "Anyway, I think you are 13, Emii! You may not have the size but you do have the heart!" She declares as she gives a wink and a thumbs up to Emii. |

Someone just as big and tall as Tyson spoke up and challenged him right off the bat and called him out on Tyson trying to take up some sort of leadership role. He wasn't incredibly confrontational, but it irked him that someone challenged him and his plans AND offered a plan that seemed to put the younger kids' lives in danger. "What a stupid reason not to listen." He complained to himself. He listened to everyone's in put and it seemed like most wanted to scout ahead while a few admitted camping sounded at least viable but with more favor for moving on ahead. "Splitting up would be bad." he accepted that moving on together was the best option and that creating conflicts for no reason was just stupid. But he made it a point to join the older boy so he could stay near the front of the group. At least HE had a weapon. With Tyson moving, the little kendo kid waddled along behind him while the big dino continued basking in the sun. He made a slight face as Joe before looking away. He started to notice the small bickering and the interaction between the other kids and the monsters that stuck close to them. They had made some sort of mention before that they were partners or whatever, but Tyson kind of felt like this was all some big dumb prank or something silly and only caught most of it. With a sigh he turned the thing he had in his pocket earlier over in his hands and inspected it. It looked kinda sorta like an Ipod of some kind. He pressed a few buttons and nothing of help came up. Of course not. With a light sigh he pocked the Digital Device and leaned against a tree, the bamboo sword suddenly missing from his hand. When he noticed it his eye brows shot up in surprise and he looked around. There was the stubby little thing with the kendo like attire on. Only this time he was swinging the weapon like a bat. Okay, he had to admit. That was pretty cute. |

Joe didn't seem to notice the face Tyson made at him as he was staring down at the screen of his digivice. One thing he had noticed after pressing a few buttons was that a few dots on the screen seemed to be reacting whenever someone moved about. "Well, if anyone's worried about getting lost.. it seems as if these digivices have a tracking function." Joe spoke up loud enough for others to hear him. "So as long as the folks back at camp don't go anywhere, we'll find our way back easily." Pushing off the tree, Joe looked around at all present. "If you're coming with me, now's the time." He says while walking over and crouching next to Sean. "So, care to go with me or stay at camp?" He asks the boy/girl with a roguish smile, offering them a hand. "It's totally cool if you wanna stay here." |

Emii seemed about ready to do something to Lilith --- though what was never answered. With Lilly's words, the younger girl seemed to relax a bit more. "Of course!" Emii replied with a smile. Glancing over at Joe once he called out, the pink-haired girl pulled Ein by the wing. "Coming!" she called out as she dragged Ein away from ToyAgumon and towards both Joe and Sean. |

Claire fistpumps! Yes! People are going and doing things! No waiting! She heads over to Joe "Heh! Glad to see someone's got their head on straight. This is going to be interesting. Yep. Not every day you wake up somewhere different from where you went to bed. ... Well I did fall asleep on the train that one time but that doesn't really count, I was still on the train!" She takes a breath. "Anyhow. Generally that wouldn't lead to finding cool dinosaur-y things anyways. This is really out of the ordinary! I love it!" |

Unlike most of the others, Amon didn't wake up in the grass. In fact, he hadn't even been in bed when everything went down. Amon was at his PC, crushing some scrubs when a strange dizziness came over him. Next thing he knew, he was waking up in a hammock, outside. Curled up on his chest, snoozing happily was some strange looking little winged creature. For some reason, instead of the fear you'd expect, a rather strange peace fell over him as he looked upon the creature. Almost reactively, the winged beast slowly opened it's eyes, blinking and adjusting to wakefulness in the light. A smile? came over it's face as it turned upon it's tamer. "Hello!" His flabbergasted face was all he could return for moments, before he finally belched out a "Heyyyyyy..." Once he managed to clear the butterflies out of his head, he began a small chat with his Patamon, learning about his Digivice, his tamer status, and the digital world. Or, at least what his Patamon knew of it. He made the executive decision that Patamon was too long, and named him Nalu. Apparently he enjoyed the name, and his new friendship. Amon was still very uncertain. Exiting his hammock, he dismantled it and threw it over his shoulders. It would come in handy later! He was convinced. He finally tuned into the fact that he was nearby to a group that was talking out their situation. It was an odd group, boys, girls, undecipherables. The blond gave a slight salute; "Aloha, friends."
