Tyson couldn't help but shrug and let out a big heavy sigh as he did. Nothing seemed to go his way and more people wanted to take charge of the situation. It didn't matter what they wanted, he wasn't going to let their stupid pride get themselves or others hurt or killed. Maybe it was a bit self serving and maybe he did have a bit of an ego but all in all he knew that when it came down to the tough decisions he could depend on himself to make calls and big plays and that was something he couldn't trust the other kids to do. With his Digimon duo in tow and the plan more or less made up Tyson started moving, not dumb or pig headed enough to try and overtake the older girl who seemed to have it out for him. He followed behind, no reason for him to cause problems over something this petty. He went over the small home team pretty fast in his head to see the players he had on his squad. There was the older girl Shima, who seemed like she had issues with him, and her fuzzball partner who looked pretty tough. Then there was Amon, the laid back guy with the flying furry manly marshmallow. He seemed intuitive and pretty relaxed, which was nice. Next was the younger girl with the cute little kitty cat. Tyson didn't catch much of her personality but she seemed bright enough to suggest firewood. That would show those dumb adventure types. They'd find a home base AND collect wood for fire. Those guys would probably just bring back some berries and fruit and no real information. Tyson got a little fire in his chest at the chance to show up the other team in who could do a better job and his steps suddenly got a lot more confident. The last member of their group was a wormy little runt who spoke with big words and thought pretty highly of himself. Tyson liked him. He was pretty sure he was just a kid playing pretend or at least trying to act cool for the older kids. But either way something about someone with a dream to make it to the big leagues made him smile. His partner was another dinosaur, but it looked a bit less fearsome than Shima's furry one. "So." He started off with the deep subject. "If we find something that looks mean. You guys should let Shima and me handle it. If it's bigger than that guy." He thumbed over to Monochromon. "We should run. I'd rather we not lose our only chance at winning a fight and going home because we're too proud to run." He excluded Rory and his Partnermon from the list of combatants only because while it did look tough, he didn't want the little kid to get upset if it got eaten or something. A sound tactic for sure. Right? |

Rory couldn't help but feel the atmosphere sour after his introduction, causing him to.... well, not be bothered too much. He was expecting this, always happens in his dreams. "The stability isn't a problem, we won't be resting deep inside it, more than likely at the mouth the first night," he explained to Amon as he started following the others, "as for the gas concern, unless you plan on digging, there's a rather small chance we'll stumble onto one unknowingly. If someone is really concerned, we can attempt some sort of test, perhaps by catching a small bird." The Agumon Rory referred to as Theo kept quiet, letting the kids apparently sort their problems out on their own, at least until one of them finally said something that caught his attention. "Run? RUN?!" Theo said, shock(?) on his face, "Why would we RUN from something just because it's bigger? Most likely event is it's just a little bit stronger than our average form, right?" "Average form?" Rory asked. "Yeah, we can digivolve, you know!" he explained. "If we digivolve, we get stronger!" "... Oh? So you have some form of self-defense, then?" "Well, yeah. We all have some form of self-defense, you know! Check it, Pepper Breath!" Leaning back, the Agumon opened his jaw wide and release a ball of flame up into the air, causing his small companion to jump a bit in surprise. "... W-Well, that solves the gas problem, at least," Rory muttered, wondering just what he'd eaten to get such a weird dream going. "I agree, though, avoiding confrontation would be the optimal choice." "Aw, jeez, you two are no fun..." Theo muttered, giving a little shrug with his stubby arms. |

Amon was becoming relatively positive that by the time they reached their destination, he'd have a splitting headache. At least the younger of the two females seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. An ally against the craziness, he hoped. They began their trek, and the burned girl seemed to have little interest in small talk. The youngest lad was still giving him lip, but he payed it no heed. They'd see who was truly prepared when the time came. Tyson was making some grand gesturing about combat, but to be truthful, he hadn't considered what he or Patamon would do if things turned into a battle. They were called monsters, but it was definitely true that some of their companions looked a whole lot tougher than others. Nalu was a good example as one of the weaker looking of the bunch. Then, something completely crazy happened. The little ankle biters lizard fired ... fire - into the sky. "Well... that was unexpected." He turned to look at Nalu, flapping lazily along beside him; "Can you do something like that?" Nalu bristled, opening his mouth wide. A shining light flashed in his mouth before blasting out and exploding a nearby bush. Amon's jaw was agape. It twisted into a knowing look. "Well then. I guess I'll leave the fighting to you, huh." His partner adopted a smug smile. Edited by Dreamy, Aug 21 2014, 08:42 PM.

"What about you? What can you do?" Lilly asked Lilith as they walked. "Can you fire eye beams or something?" "Wh-what?! What do I look like? I'm a fighting-type Digimon. I'm very agile and I can punch and kick harder than I look like I can!" Lilith suddenly exclaimed, crossing her arms and turning up her nose at Lilly's notion of her firing lasers. "I'm likely the strongest here!" Giggling, Lilly patted Lilith's head. "I'm joking, silly! I know exactly what you can do!" She replies with a smile before looking over at the others. Tyson in particular interested her due to him having a different digivice than the others. If she remembered correctly from her dreams, it was called a Xros Loader. Strange how her dreams are now a reality.. oh well! "Umm, Tyson? I can tell you a little about your digivice from what I remember seeing of it if you want?" She spoke as she walked up to catch up to him. She didn't wanna seem like a know-it-all, but his power was something he should be aware of. Though she did hope that Rory would realize that this wasn't a dream sooner than later. It was bad enough that they were all on their own without one of them taking unnecessary risks. |

Scanning the area in front of them for...well, for anything that wasn't a tree or bush, Shima was largely oblivious to the others' conversations behind her. Agumon's outburst at the notion of fleeing from danger, however, succeeded in catching her attention in time to hear his comment about digivolution, and she looked back just in time to witness him show off his Pepper Breath. One of the other digimon demonstrated in turn, with the catlike one choosing simply to boast of her prowess instead. She looked down at her own partner with a raised eyebrow, expression making it obvious that she fully expected him to one-up the others. "Tsk." Dorumon made a dismissive noise before inhaling deeply; for a moment it looked like he was going to be sick. "Metal Cannon!" The furry little dinosaur exhaled what looked like a cannonball, the projectile blowing a ragged hole through a nearby tree. No fancy acrobatics or elemental tricks then, just sheer force. She could respect that, and favored the 'mon with a small smile. Reminded of the device on her hip by Lilly's words, Shima took to inspecting her own digivice as she walked. It was a strange little thing, vaguely cross-shaped with a screen in the center but not much else. Taking a surreptitious look at the other kids, she noted that Tyson's wasn't the only digivice that differed from her own. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but the design of hers seemed...somehow old-fashioned by comparison. She thought aloud, muttering to herself, "What the heck are these things, even...?" |

Tyson tried to ignore the the chatter of mega evolution or whatever it was and focused on finding a cave to sleep in. He did'nt know enough about their situation and the first order of business was to get safe and hope the other got food. But the heat of a flame behind him was enough to bring his attention around at the end of the show. He was amazed even more when the little guy with Amon was able to show off it's skill as well. Everyone, including Shima's furry dino let out a cool looking attack. Tyson was impressed and he looked to his own partners who just walked along, both seemingly unimpressed by the slight shows of force. Rocky did look much bigger than the other 4 combined. Even if someone wanted to argue that big meant slow and cumbersome, Kotemon was fast and precise as seen before when he got the bamboo sword back from Tyson's grasp. When the Kotemon shrugged his shoulders and Monochromon showed no signs of interest, he felt like he knew better than to ask them to strut their stuff. It didn't bother him too much, he was the kind of guy who knew hiding your secrets was the key to victory. But it wasn't long until one of the group spoke up and moved the subject along. She asked him if he wanted to know about his Digivice. When Tyson produced it, he looked at it with a bit of interest. It still looked like an iPod with some sick details added to it. After a moment he looked at the girl and made a face. "D'you want it?" he tossed the Digivice to her with a small gentle toss. "I already got an iPod. But if you can use it to call someone or play some music, that might be nifty." the small commotion caused his two Partnermon to stop and glare at him. "Yo! You can't just go giving that to just any pretty face. That thing is special." Kotemon paused. "I think. Right big guy?" Monochromon huffed from underneath the small kendo Digimon before going back to being aloof and uninterested. "You can't lose that Tyson. That thing is your SOUL. OUR soul." Tyson made a face but finally got the hint. "Okay, so I can't trade it for your collection of baseball cards. But I guess you can show me how it works." |

It was a fun little display of each of the Digimon's powers, with the exception of the black cat, who boasted about being the strongest. He hadn't thought about the idea that any of their Digimon would be particularly stronger than the other, even though some of them definitely looked it. He wondered what would happen if they were to honestly come across something malicious. How dangerous was this world exactly? With little monsters that could make a gun look like a baby weapon hovering about, how safe could they be? He shook it off, tuning back into the conversation. It seemed they were talking about their digivices. His hand went to his even without thinking, pulling it up in front of his face. He hadn't thought to toy with it before, with so much on his mind. Looking at it now, it seemed almost fancy. Golden lining with digital markings over it, and technology that seemed almost out of this world. "They're kinda neat. I wonder why ours are all different?" He thumbed the slot on the right side of it, pondering its use. He also wondered momentarily how the girl in the group knew so much about everything. It struck him as highly odd. Still, he wasn't about to start a conflict over it. He fiddled with his Digivice, flipping through features. He came upon several that sounded incredibly useful. Analyzer was the first he clicked. A hologram screen came up over his screen, so he pointed the digivice at Monochromon. He was incredibly surprised to see a large sum of information appear on the holo-screen. "Check this out, I can analyze digimon! Monochromon: A champion level digimon who's scaly hide is almost impenetrable. It's special attack is volcanic strike." |

It seems that Rory's companion had caused a chain effect of attacks being used, which amused the boy a bit, but then everyone got to talking about... digivices? The little machines they all seemed to mysteriously have on their persons, which not only acted like two-way party communication devices, apparently, but also had other features to them. "Curious..." Rory muttered, looking his over a bit. Normally, as this was a dream, he wouldn't be interested in something that stood out like this, but there was just something... special about this, something that got his curiosity really going. "I can use that to digivolve, you know." "You've mentioned that before," Rory replied, giving his attention to the small dinosaur-like creature, "Do go into details, please." "Right! So, like, if we run across a bad situation..." Rory made sure to keep up with the group as his digimon started to brief him on the object in his possession and the world he'd stumbled upon. There was a bit of an expected barrier between him and the others, a few of which already apparently displeased with him, but at least his digimon seemed to be willing to talk to him, which was good enough for him at the moment. |

"Wawawawa!" Lilly exclaimed as she fumbled to catch the Xros Loader tossed in her direction. Finally getting a firm grip on it, she let out a sigh of relief and then looked it over while Monochromon and Kotemon both reprimanded Tyson over giving it to her. She had no intention of keeping it as she knew how important these things were to each one of them. "Whew.. anyway.. if I remember.. you hold this up and shout the names of the digimon you want to participate, then say 'Digi Xros!'" His was golden, a bold yet warm color that shined like the sun. It made her smile while she held it, but she quickly returned it to its owner. "Here you go! That's all I remember seeing you do in my dream!" Lilly says with a smile. Lilith narrows her eyes as she stares at her 'master' for a bit. Just what sort of girl knows how to use a Xros Loader from just dreams alone? Lilith'd have to keep an eye on this one to see what else she knows.. after all, she might know her secret and that alone would be bad! Narrowing her eyes as she looked around, she noticed something else; They were surrounded by something.. knowing by what was the problem. Tugging on Lilly's pant leg to get her attention, Lilith imitated her best needy expression. "Lilly.. I have to gooo.." She whined. "Hm? OH! Alright!" Lilly blinked then smiled. "Tyson! Gotta take Lilith on a bathroom break! Be right back!" She calls to him and runs off into the bushes. Lilith noted that the presences moved out the way so they could pass easily.. which meant that the rest of the group would get attacked without them being there! She inwardly smiled at this.. it meant that the forces were friendly to her at least. |

Tyson took his device from the younger girl and turned it around in his hands a few times, examining it just a little closer than he had before. It did feel a bit odd to just hand it over but he couldn't figure out why. It wasn't a dream or knowledge like the two younger kids touted but it was something that just felt wrong. Kotemon said it best, it felt like tossing it away meant he was losing a part of him and so Tyson pocketed it again, this time patting his pockets to make sure it was secure and vowing to listen to his gut when it came to these sort of things. It wasn't like he could rely entirely on his knowledge in a place like this. "Digi Cross huh?" He looked to his two partners and couldn't help but wonder what it would do if he used them. It might have been better to try it out right this second just to know what it did, but he figured if it even did anything, he'd rather find out in an environment where it mattered and he could stress test it, so to speak. Nothing like showing off under fire. With the idea of Digi Xros moving to the back of his mind, he couldn't help but join the taller of the other two boys in wondering why some had different devices. "Maybe they're tailored to us. Just like our partners." It made sense. Maybe their partner Digimon were specially chosen as well as the devices. Tyson wanted to meet up with that chick from his screen and get answers out of her. That meant sorting this evil business out, but he was prepared to do that anyways. "Whoa. Go back to that part about Champion level. You some kind of Digi-champ in a fighting arena or something big guy?" Rocky, the big and calm Monochromon took a breath before finally shaking his head. "That refers to a Digimon's power. Sort of." He stopped and just looked off into the woods as if he was collecting his thoughts. When it was apparent that he had said all he was going to say, Kotemon took over. "What the big guy means is. Some digimon grow into bigger and stronger forms in order to survive. That's Digivolution. I'm just a Rookie level. So is Patamon, Dorumon, and Agumon." Tyson crossed his arms and looked around. That meant that he had the biggest and strongest Digimon. Right? It only seemed natural. He couldn't help but grin a bit knowing that it must be hard for someone like Joe or Shima to know that he was the strongest of the kids after all. When Lilly called over to him, his attention moved from the idea of who was strongest to the younger girl. She was taking her little kitty off to the side for the quick bathroom break. Tyson scratched his head, now that he thought about the little black cat. Kotemon didn't mention it when he talked about the levels. "What about the little kitty? It's a rookie too right?" Kotemon shook it's head before taking in a quick breath. "That one is a champion too. Just like the big guy here. Don't let size fool you. Or level for that matter. Just because something is of a higher level doesn't mean it's a lost fight." Tyson took the words to heart and nodded. He thought he had everything figured out, but it seemed like it wouldn't be that easy. Just like real life, stats and power levels didn't matter all the time. "Let's take a short break. Anyone else need to make sunshine and rainbows?" Tyson himself was good and his two buds didn't make any moves to go, so Tyson leaned against a nearby tree. "Hey Agumon, when you Divivolve, what happens. Exactly? Do you just get bigger? Grow wings? What did Monochromon look like before he digivolved?" He figured he'd ask the little orange lizard since it seemed to know a lot on the subject. |

Now actively trying to split her attention between the conversation going on behind her and watching where she was going, Shima found herself drawn moreso to her companions and their chatter. Amon, it seemed, had happened across one of their digivice's functions, using it to scan one of Tyson's partners. Why'd he have two when the rest of them had only been greeted by a single creature, anyway? She directed her own device at Dorumon, and much to her surprise it worked in a fashion almost identical to Amon's, displaying text and an image of her 'mon. Dorumon: DIGITAL OR UNKNOWN MONSTER. Rookie-level experimental digimon, data-type. An ancient species possessing strong combat instincts, it will accept any challenge and pummel the foe with its Metal Cannon attack. Neat. If they did encounter anything hostile, perhaps their digivices would give them some insight by scanning their opponent. It was like a game, almost. But at the same time...something was off. The Dorumon the digivice displayed had a different appearance than her partner. She turned the device on the rest of the group's digimon, and every time the real deal was almost identical to the images it showed, leaving her puzzled. She'd worry about it later, more interested in learning about how the digimon increased their strength for now. "So this digivolving thing. Is it - " Shima stopped in her tracks mid-sentence, throwing one arm out as a signal to the group and barking an order. "Stop!" She might not have been the most social of the group so far, but hopefully the others would hear the urgency in the command. They were being watched. It was just one of those inexplicable feelings, like a sixth sense, and she certainly wasn't getting the impression that whatever it was was friendly. Looking up at her curiously, it was only a moment before her partner detected the same anonymous scrutiny, hackles rising as he let out a deep growl. Edited by Captain Fail, Aug 25 2014, 05:44 PM.

The good news for the present moment was that everyone was getting along with their shared interest in the Digimon and their digivices. They were learning a lot, for sure. Apparently Tyson had the ability to smush his digimon together to create one. How did that work? So strange. Amon was looking forward to seeing it in action. As others tested the analyze feature, he was more curious about a feature on his. Digi-modify? He finally had the sense to check his pockets, finding three strange cards in one, neatly stacked in a small pack. His eyes went from the cards to the small gash on the side of his Digivice. He'd have to remember this if a fight broke out. Amongst the chatter, the burned girl let out a cry. He and Patamon stopped, his little companion taking up a spot on his shoulder. He took a glance around the area. They had gotten to the edge of the savannah, coming up on mount panorama (though he didn't know the name himself). The area was rocky all over, lots of places to hide if one was so inclined. The other girl had taken her digimon for a potty break, and for all intents and purposes, it seemed the area was clear. He gave her a strange stare. "Uh... is there a reason you want us to stop? Do you need a potty break too? Edited by Dreamy, Aug 28 2014, 11:52 PM.

"Sunshine and rainbows...?" Rory repeated Tyson's words, an eyebrow raised as he tried to decipher whatever hidden meaning there had to be behind such words. As such, the Agumon he'd been bombarding with questions was freed up for a new source. "Well, when we digivolve, we transform into a stronger form. From what I know, digivices make the process a lot faster, which is good news for us all, but it's temporary as well. As for what I look like, I don't know, there's a lot of paths I could take, depending on what Rory does! Monochromon, though, I don't PERSONALLY know what he looked like, but if I remember straight, he should've been a Gotsumon... so basically a bunch of rocks, really," the digimon explained, making a lot of gestures throughout. "... It's weird that you guys have to go to the bathroom, why would my subconscious come up with something like that?" Rory finally spoke up again, causing the Agumon to look at him in an almost chastising manner. "Rory... Everybody poops." Both him and Rory, however, refocused on Shima as she suddenly barked out an order. "What is it? Did you see something?" Rory asked, as Theo moved over next to him. Whatever had spooked her, he'd be ready for it! |

"Do you need some tissues?" Lilly asked her partner as she could hear some light grunting from behind the bush they stopped at after walking a good distance away from the boys. Lilly herself had already gone, but it seemed as if Lilith was a little.. constipated? "Don't you dare come over here! A lady needs her privacy!" Lilith grunted. In truth, she was only making the sounds in order to keep Lilly away from the ambush that was about to happen. Really, she didn't care about what happened to Lilly, but she wasn't sure she'd get off so easily with her master, so she decided to bring Lilly to them. --- The heavy thumping of footsteps was heard all around them as several DarkTyrannomon seemed to come out of the woodwork, so to speak, surrounding the small group. Honestly, how did they miss something so big? There had to be a reason! From behind the DarkTyrannomon ahead of them appeared a young girl and two small digimon. One had a weird appearance and was constantly giggling, while the other was a cat digimon similar to Lilith, only sporting different colors. The girl smiled at them kindly, but someone like Shima could tell that it was anything but a kind smile. She spread her hands and spoke to them. "Welcome to wonderland!" She announced. Tyson listened to the little Orange dino chatter about Digivolution and when he noted that the big guy used to be a pile of rocks, possibly, Tyson couldn't help but get a smirk as he looked over at Monochromon, who was looking away seeming aloof. Yeah, he could see that thing being a pile of rocks at one point. The group was engaging in minor chit chat about digivolution and pooping. Tyson was about to ask Rory something when suddenly Shima said something in a hastened tone that brought Tyson into a rigid pose. People didn't just say things like that as a joke, or at least, it was tough for people to have such strong urgency in their tone while faking it. Maybe it was his own sixth sense, his gut, or maybe he was a sucker. But whatever it was he couldn't help but clench his core and prepare for a fight. Kotemon hopped off Rocky's back and made his way closer to Tyson, bamboo sword in hand. It sensed Tyson's unease and joined him while the Monochromon stood as still and aloof as ever, but deep down he too was flexing and preparing for something. As the thumping started Tyson couldn't help but get an intense feeling in his gut as the big T-Rex digimon made their appearance. It was a horrible feeling of utter failure and the urge to run mixed together. How the hell was he going to protect Rory and the others from a T-REX!? Kotemon gripped it's weapon and stood ready while Monochromon growled loudly, the first thing it had done since Tyson had arrived here that wasn't a slow sentence or a lazy walking pace. For a moment, Tyson felt some honor that Rocky sounded like a real bad ass for a second and it was compounded by the fact that it seemed so lax before and yet something like that came out of him. Tyson was a bit proud. He just found out it was possibly the strongest, and yet he wasn't sure how to feel until right now. He was positive the big guy had some fire in him that just needed the right fuel to be ignited. Tyson closed the gap between himself and the others, specifically using his body as a shield of sorts for Rory while Kotemon and Monochromon joined the grouping by stomping over. It didn't look good, they were surrounded and Lilly was missing. These guys looked really big and really tough. Even with Rocky's size, he wasn't too excited about getting into a fight. But you can't just look weak. No one respects the weak, so maybe they could bluff their way out? Or maybe talk. Did other Digimon talk? Tyson brushed the question away as he suddenly found that in the inner conflict with himself, he had grabbed his Digivice. With it in hand he remembered what Lily had said about it. If they needed to fight, maybe it could buy his buddies enough time to get out. He wouldn't be the guy who got a bunch of younger kids killed. When a girl made her appearance with what seemed like her own duo of partner Digimon, Tyson eased up a bit. Just a bit. She seemed friendly and the big monsters didnt seem to mind her. Maybe they were her partners? That's bullshit Tyson thought as he felt a pang of jealousy that a little girl got multiple partners who may be as strong or stronger than his Rocky. While Tyson was a bit less tense, he was still in survival mode. So he wasn't about to just serve himself on a silver platter, but he did make a waving motion with his hand. "Heya." A nice non-threatening introduction. "Why don't we calm our Digimon down and have a nice tea party then?" He spoke of the Alice in Wonderland books, hoping a small joke would help ease the tension everyone felt. First tactic, try to talk your way out of it. |

Whatever odd feeling had struck Shima, Amon made a mental note to not consider her mental next time. Before they knew it, they were surrounded by huge dinos. Amon pulled up his Digivice, pointing at one; "Darktyrannomon, champion level virus type Digimon. Originally a tyrannomon, this digimon was infected and warped by a virus, making it frenzied and growing its offensive power. Great, so it's mean AND nasty." Amon's mind was racing. When the girl showed up with two partners, Tyson tried to negotiate. Amon wasn't thinking along the same line. Nobody brings along a bunch of monster dino digis if they're trying to talk peace. Fortune favors the bold, right? Best defense is to obliterate your opponent before they can act. He looked to his shoulder. Nalu was absolutely bristling, he was clearly on the same wavelength. A feeling overwhelmed him. He slipped one of the cards from his pocket. "DIGIMODIFY!" Amon pulled the card through the reader, shining light erupting from the slashing card; "Redgreymon's Nove flame activate!" "Light em up!" Nalu lept to the ground, fur standing straight on end, data shining all over him. He sucked in a deep breath; "Nova flame!" Blue white flame erupted in a massive blast, firing straight up towards the girl and her two partners! Amon couldn't help being surprised such a ferocious blast was coming from his tiny little partner. Edited by Dreamy, Aug 28 2014, 04:12 AM.

Taking a moment to look back and glare at Amon for his quip, Shima's attention snapped back to their front at the sound of pounding footsteps. Her gaze darted around the area before her, but she didn't need to wait long; emerging from the shadows - how the hell did they manage that, big as they were? - the multitude of DarkTyrannomon showed her exactly what had given her that feeling of hostile intent. They looked about as friendly as she'd have expected, too. And there was...a girl with them, one who hadn't woken up with the rest of the kids. Her expression, a blatant mockery of kindness, put the burned girl on edge.
Shima's face twisted into a snarl to equal her partner's, but even as she opened her mouth to reply with what would have certainly been a scathing retort she was interrupted by Amon shouting something she didn't catch and a great blue-white fireball blowing past her. She didn't need to look back to realize the blast had come from his little puffball of a digimon. What had been anger in her expression was replaced by an almost sadistic grin at the prospect of a fight; maybe some of these guys weren't so bad after all... "Let's get this bitch!" Dorumon didn't need to be told twice, already leaping forward before she'd even finished the sentence. "Metal Cannon!" Rearing back, the furry little dino hocked an iron cannonball straight at one of the DarkTyrannomon towering over the girl, charging at his target of choice in the projectile's wake. Shima herself started toward where the girl had been as well; for some reason, she didn't get the impression Nalu had successfully roasted the other human. Rory tensed up the instant the large, angry-looking digimon surrounded them, and the girl's almost ecstatic welcome to this "Wonderland". "Huh, never thought I'd have Carrol references in my dreams. That's a little worrisome, Dodgson was a pedophile wasn't he...?" Rory muttered to himself as the young girl giggled at Tyson's request. "Oh, my, tea would be excellent, but I'm afraid there's neither hare nor hatter to be found in this little troupe!" she said, only to look over at Amon as he made his decision. "But a lack of manners seems to exist, ehe!" The small cat-like creature next to her was quick to act, jumping between the girl and the blast and using a single claw swipe to knock the attack away. The nova flame attack shot through the surroundings as the girl's defender glared at the young man. Rory jumped in surprise as Amon went on the offensive, a look of surprise on his face. Had he just tried to kill a girl?! "Er, really, I think diplomacy would be a good idea in the face of these odds!" he said, not about to try and talk down a figment of his bizarre imagination down from this, even if it made his stomach churn a little bit. Shima seemed to share the same feeling, though, and bumrushed the girl as well. "Tch, we might be stuck in this!" Theo said, fire rumbling in his throat as he looked over at Tyson, wanting to see if he'd be sticking to an attempt at diplomacy as well. "How rude, attacking without provocation or even awaiting introduction. To make matters worse, it was a very terrible mistake!" the girl explained, thrusting her arms out dramatically, "for you see, I'm Alice, the Digimon Empress of this Wonderland! Darktyrannomon! Please teach those two the error of their ways, but perhaps a bit delicately... after all, it would be rude to take their heads right from the start, right~?" It seemed she had taken the two's challenge to heart, however; it seemed a fight was all but impossible to avoid! |

Tyson crossed his arms. Of course buying some time and assessing the situation was the best possible thing they could do. Flying in blindly was stupid and reckless. Firstly, they didn't know where Lily was, and he wasn't about to jump and attack right off the bat incase they were using her as a hostage or something. Secondly, if the plan was to murder the kids, why take the time to surround them? No, the best bet was to try and talk for now. He was sure since his stance was obviously defensive and open to talking, no one else would do anything stupid.
Tyson couldn't help but wheel around and shoot Amon a grumpy look. "WHAT THE HELL!?" he roared at the younger kid. How could he be so reckless? Did he not think before acting?! So much unknown and so many questions needed to be asked before they could jump into a fight. Tyson wasn't stupid and he knew this might turn into a fight for their lives, but being so reckless wasn't his style. Before he could chastise Amon and apologize for picking a fight, Shima roared to life too and attacked, alongside her purple furry dino. Tyson grabbed his head and shook his fingers frustratedly through his hair. Of course she would do something. Could he really blame Amon for shooting first now? On one hand, the younger guy probably knew Shima was the type to start something and was just going on the offensive with her as backup. Rory said something about democracy and his little orange dino buddy both turned to him for some sort of nod. "Diplomacy is out the window now." He said with little remorse. Tyson was the type of guy who really wanted to think things out and make a plan but in truth. He worked best when the bases were loaded, down by 3, 2 strikes and 2 outs. The heat was on and he'd be damned if he was going to be outdone at this point in the game. He was aiming for the fences. Alice spoke and chastised them all for attacking her without provocation. She had a point, really. Tyson couldn't help but agree with her really. But like he said. Diplomacy was out the window at this point. With a quick scan of the battle field Tyson's mind launched into overdrive as he tried to look for the best play to make at a time like that. Amon's big fireball was knocked away almost easily and it looked like Shima AND her Digimon were charging the "master". "Rocky! You back up Shima and go after that little cat thing. Kotemon, Agumon, Patamon, you guys keep the edgy T-rex off of our guys. Amon, keep an eye on Rory." Tyson shoved off of the ground hard and darted down the path Lily had taken just a few minutes ago. "I'm going to find Lily. I'll be right back." he shouted behind him as his legs pumped faster and faster into the thick of the forest. "Alright bossman! You got it!" Kotemon jumped hard off of Monochromon's back and with a furious roar, smashed his head into one of the nearby D.Tyrannomon. The headbutt was backed up by a flaming charge from the small rookie level digimon. It might not topple anything that big, but it wasn't just going to be brushed off. Monochromon on the other hand didn't use words, a loud thunderous roar erupted from the seemingly stoic triceratops as it CHARGED forth with a look of intensity in it's eyes as it focused on it's target, the nimble and cute little Mikemon. The ground shook underneath it as it quickly barreled past both Shima and her Dorumon heading directly for the little cat-like-Digimon. No one wanted to get hit by a train, but no train wanted to get hit by a charging Monochromon. Edited by Caster Shells, Aug 29 2014, 03:24 AM.

The DarkTyrannomon reeled from the impact from the cannonball shot out from Dorumon, but quickly recovered. Roaring, flames gathered into its mouth as it retaliated with an attack of its own, breathing fire down on the smaller digimon that was charging at it. The second DarkTyrannomon snarled at Kotemon, reeling backwards a step or two, trying to shake off the flaming bamboo sword attack. The other five DarkTyrannomon looked at eachother, but did nothing for now as their master hasn't instructed that they'd be needed. Though one did see fit to follow after Tyson as he ran into the woods. Deserters would not be tolerated, after all. "Are you done yet?" Whined Lilly as she sat cross-legged on the ground. She was wondering if her digimon was really okay since she's been at it for at least a few minutes now. Lilly hadn't been paying much attention at first, but she could hear roars in the direction of where her companions were. "Lilith, hurry up! I think something's wrong!" "I'm trying!" Lilith replied, gritting her teeth. She just needed to somehow sit this one out until they were gone. There was no way she could justify fighting against her own people.. nor would she be forgiven for it. So just a little longer..! |
