Have seen most of the features offered in Dreamworks. The pinnacle to one's career is to obtain a or a few Siege sets for his/her job class and practically, that's all about it. My career as an RO gamer has been years and counting, been to low, mid, high and even super high rate servers, and saw the features of what these servers had to offer. There was a super high rate server, which I loved the concept so much, which I think would be an added feature / advantage to Dreamworks as well. Objectives: - To provide a more diversed PVP environment, offering a chance to experiment with different builds, master it, and adapt to changes. - To provide an opportunity for those who would want to take risks in building a character, and squeezing the last drop of brain juice to make the build(s) work. Preface: - Ragnarok Online works on these two main mechanics in general: Offensive or Defensive. Deeper into the Defensive wing, you would have status points allocation, status ailments and resists (race, element & size). Approach: - To introduce new sets, all of which has 4 parts: Armor, Garment, Shoes and Shield - These sets could be worn by all job classes. - Each set would introduce a theme, a build of one kind: Flee based, Elemental Resistance, Race Resistance, Size Resistance, Reflect, etc. - Each part in any set in particular would give bonuses only towards that set's theme, or example Element Resistance Set, Garment: 15% resist to all elements except Neutral. Shoes: 7% resist to all elements except Neutral, etc. - Ownership of all parts in the set would give extra bonuses contributing to the theme. - To complement to the approach above, new cards would be introduced: to change the race type of a character (slotted into armor), and cards solely contributing to those sets. Any resistance set could contribute up to a 85% resist. However, there are secrets in game, customs, which could allow you to hit 99% resist for race & size, 120% resist for elemental on 4-5 elements, IF they are hardworking enough, to farm enough DBox to purchase them. |

Very well thought out post, but I have to say that your approach toward allowing players to hit 99% resist for race and size is just a bit unreasonable. 1% damage will definitely put PvP into a long and boring experience. We do intend to release more set later own down the line, but right now class balancing and releasing of more custom weapons and items are priority. We will take your suggestion into consideration when working on our next advancement.
