Bienvenida todos los personas a Torched Down! In English, Welcome, everyone, to Torched Down. You’ll have to excuse the poor Spanish. But don’t excuse yourself too far, as this week I went straight into the Mafia’s most famous member. No, he’s no Al Pacino, but he is…the Hillside Stranger, Anthony Tarantino.

Torch: Welcome to Torched Down Ant. Let's start with the beginning I suppose. How did you find the ECWF and what prompted you to join?

Ant: Thanks for having me here Torch, I love the show! Okay I found the ECWF one-day on Impact. The end of April to be exact. That is a long ass time. I knew zip about e fedding when I first joined and I guess that is why I was as bad as I was. I really think I was one of the worst e fedders in history when I first joined lol, no joke right there.

Torch: Are you sure about that Ant? Because I know of some pretty bad ones lol. How did you find Impact? And I would assume that the ECWF was your first fed?

Ant: Haha, not sure I was pretty bad though. I found IW from google. I searched ‘Smackdown spoilers’ and this was one at the top. It took me about a month and a half to make an account, so about 2 weeks after I made the account I did the crapiest contract and my name was Ant the Killa. ECWF was my first fed! Might have been a tough choice of a first fed but I did end up winning my debut match against Kane the undertaker.

Torch: You know, I always thought “Kane the Undertaker” was an…interesting e-fed name. Then I found out that was supposed to be the Undertaker’s wrestling name. But we all know how that turned out. So, how did you improve on your e-fedding skills?

Ant: Well, it is an odd name but my e fedding career got of to a rocky start in the ECWF so I joined the NBWF and the XWA in about a 2 day span. My first match in the NBWF was for the X title, I lost but I lost to a great like Venom. That really gave me a push to later go for the X title and in the last NBWF show I won the title from Seeker. So that was my first major win. Then of course I won the TV title in the ECWF and a few weeks later I won the king of the cage title in the XWA. As most people know. I was an original of the XWO in the XWA. It was me, Omen, Jeremy, Jericho and Rob. Jericho was a sick pain in the ass so I bailed out and had a great feud with the XWO. There was a 6 on 6 at one of the PPVs that actually won watch of the year.

So I really got my career started in all the feds, and different ways. Whether it was challenging for a title, or just a feud. But if I had to pick one thing that got my career off to where I want it to be! That is winning the king of the cage title... on my birthday September 25th.

Torch: That’s quite the present. You can’t ask for a whole lot more (okay, so you can. But still lol) So, you had some success as Ant the Killa…what made you change to the Hillside Strangler?

Ant: Well, I really thought that name was complete garbage lol. Every week I used to have a match and the first thing that came out of my opponents mouth was.... ‘Damn, I have to face that pesky insect, or just insect.’ I got real tired of it. Sean Gotti offered help to all the younger guys one day on impact. So I sent him a message and asked how should I change my gimmick. He said ‘first off you need a name change.’ He asked me for some towns near my house. I said ‘Hillside’, he said ‘Strangler.’ There you have the Hillside Strangler.

Torch: So what other words of wisdom did you get from Gotti? Where did you get to the status you are now with your promos?

Ant: Well, he told me that my name is MEAN! He said you have to step it up with your promos. So from those words I have stepped it up big time. I have been told more than once by Rob, Vlad, Alex and even the rock told me that he has not seen anyone in a long time that can pop out promos like me. That is always great to hear.

Torch: You ARE a promo machine. Don’t take this the wrong way, but there is just no shutting you up. Lol. So let’s switch subjects a little bit. How long were you around in your e-fedding career when you decided to start the XPW? Why did you start the XPW?

Ant: haha, well in a game where promoing means winning, I think being a machine is very good lol. Okay and I was in my career around 4 and a half months before I opened up the XPW. I opened it in the summer with 6 guys, the only 2 of them 6 still around is Rob and Alex Seeker. Of course the other 4 were Hulk Hogan, Mike Becker, Skylor and Wolverine. Like I said before I opened it in the summer and to be honest I was not expecting it to last. We were lucky. In the summer there must have been 20 new e feds. We were the only to survive! It has grown from a five guy, mess of a show into a pretty decent show with greats like X Pac, WCW, Venom and of course the great Torch. I also can’t wait to start working with Craig Lovercraft! So anyone who wants in on the XPW, send a PM my way and we will work out a deal.

Torch: Great? Me? Well, I suppose…no, I’m only kidding lol. Did it get harder to work on your promos, when you had to put together cards and shows? Does anyone help you with the XPW creatively?

Ant: Lol, you are great Torch, and yea it is harder to do but since the XWA is somewhat closed. It freed up a lot of time so I have time to do both. And yes, I have many helpers helping me with the XPW. Of course there is the writers. With out the writers the show would be no show at all. And then the people who I talk to for storylines are XPac, Rob, and Vlad. They came to me with a lot of ideas. Some of them are storylines going on right now. Also WCW is great to work with. He is giving me ideas about his current feud and it is helping. So basically without the staff and idea men, XPW would be done.

Torch: And I bet Rock would back you up on the fact that e-feds take a lot of teamwork. The XPW roster has been expanding as of late. Guys like Craig Lovecraft and Mr. Spectacular. Can you tell us anything on more possible XPW prospects?

Ant: That is true, e fed owning is tough. And with prospects. Hmm! I have talked to some people a few days ago. The deal is not finalized but there is a chance some new members will be joining soon. We will just have to wait and see.

Torch: After gaining the members you have, I can’t count anyone out. Shifting gears again, if there is any title in the ECWF you would go for (except the Heavyweight) which would it be and why?

Ant: Well, I would love a shot at the KODM. In XWA I won the KOTC so it would be right down my alley. I like a nice hardcore death match lol. But, also the new X title looks cool. I’m just trying to move up the ranks and soon, hopefully I will have some gold.

Torch: Awesome. I guess the champs around here just need to keep an eye on you. Well Ant, I think its that time once again…any last words or messages you would like to send to the roster or anyone else out there?

Ant: Well, I have one message to everyone on the roster. Mess With the Family you get Smacked! Mess with the Strangler you get WHACKED! Thanks for having me here Torch.

Note to staff: Don’t borrow money from Ant, you’ll likely loose a finger or something. Erm…Thank you Ant, for being on the show. Next week we have a guy that has the epitome of talented blood (see his contract). He is a wrestling Phenomenon, The Real Deal, Alex Seeker.
