Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children…wait children? What the hell are children doing on this board?! Anyway, I’m Torch and this is your favorite interview segment, Torched Down. This week I’ve got a guy who is here to do one thing: make a name for himself. And boy has he! He is a one time XPW tag champ along with that XPW Continental champ. Ladies and gentlemen, I present… Mr. Hollywood, Alex Seeker. Burning Stats Real Name: Robert (Alex is my middle name and I prefer it over Robert) Hometown: Miami, FL Age: 20 Song of the Moment: Remember the Name by Fort Minor Band(s): Fall Out Boy, Fort Minor, Kiss, Spinal Tap, Eminem Job/level in school: Package deliverer Favorite Hobbies: Playing basketball, hanging out, playing games when I have the time, watch tv TV Shows: WWE, TNA, American Idol, Heroes, Anything on the Food Network that I like Movie: Borat (at the moment) ---------------------- Torch: Welcome Alex. Why don’t we start off with, how did you make your way to the ECWF? Alex: Well, if you mean by finding Impact, I was Googling for something WWE and found a headline that lead to Impact and saw some interesting news and decided to check it out. If you mean by finding ECWF, I was bored in the summer. Just checking out some groups on Impact. I found ECWF and found e-fedding very interesting. At first, I thought it was a little weird pretending to be wrestlers. I thought it was just going to be a test run for me in the summer but here I am. Torch: What kept you in the ECWF? Is there something that hooked you? Alex: I liked what I saw. The matches, the promos, the characters. That's pretty much everything. And what I like about ECWF is that isn't like other feds where they don't seem pretty organized. This also goes for XPW and XWA as well. My "idols" in e-fedding are in ECWF. I have more than 5 but Shane and Tim are the main ones. Torch: What makes them the main guys you look up to? What makes them stand out from the rest? Alex: Well they're the main guys for a reason right? They're legends. Their creativity, storytelling is really great. They are "idols" but I get a lot of ideas from guys like Craig and yourself. Seeing others' promos makes me want to try harder. More ideas come to my head when I check out a promo of quality. Torch: I think part of makes promoing fun (and frustrating) is when you’re facing someone that pushes you to do better than you think you can. But anyway, what kind of title reigns have you had since you started e-fedding? Alex: I've held the XPW Continental title, which I got from Ant. The XPW Tag titles, which I got from Pacman and yourself. And the NBWF X Division title, which I won from Venom and held the title for very little time until Ant took it away(Thanks a lot asshole lol j/k). Torch: So you’ve yet to taste ECWF gold? If you could compete for any title (Heavyweight excluded) which would it be and why? Alex: King of the Deathmatch title because I've always been a fan of hardcore titles. What I like about the KOTD title are the matches. They're always different and creative. The hardcore scene would be something I would really like to try out. I've been in every title scene except hardcore and heavyweight. So yeah. Torch: So, if you could go for any belt, against any wrestler, in any type of match what would it be? (AKA Your dream title win) Alex: Myself vs WCW in a Street Fight for the ECWF Elite HW Championship, but it doesn't really matter to me which title it is. WCW helped me a lot in the beginning of my e-fed career. Fighting him would be great. A lot of guys have been great help with me. That match would be full of incredible moves and painful weapon shots. Those are things that catch my 110% attention. But quality is what's most important and that's what ECWF, XWA, and XPW are all about. Torch: You are damn right Alex. So when you first started fedding, how did you manage to get into it. You said WCW had a lot to do with your career…how so? Through the Dojo? Alex: Yes through the Dojo. I started off horrible. My first promo being like 3 lines lol. I posted sample promos on the Dojo so the Dojo trainers could help me. WCW was like the first one to help me out (Sorry if I'm suffering from memory loss) and his advice really helped me. He talked about being redundant and boy I was. Then more sample promos were done and I got positive reviews with less complaints than before. But all Dojo trainers were great help and I really thank them. Torch: The Dojo has produced some awesome talent, I think. (You and Vlad come to mind.) Anyway, what possessed you to join the XPW and XWA, granted that the ECWF was your first fed. Alex: Interest. XWA was very impressive just like ECWF. Venom's writing is mind blowing. The storylines are top notch as well. When Ant formed XPW, I knew he wouldn't close it down so quick so I thought it would a great chance for me to shine. And it certainly worked. XPW gave me my first real break when I won the Continental title. XPW has given breaks to Vlad, Rob, etc. Ant is one that I thank for giving opportunities. XWA and XPW are both phenomenal. All are unique in their own way. Torch: I know in the XPW you were in the XWO for awhile. How did that come about? And did it help boost your career at all? Alex: I wanted to try something different. I thought being in a faction would be cool. It didn't boost my career in a big way but XWO led me to win the Tag titles that you held. I wish I was in the XWA version of XWO but then again, Jericho is there and...well, you know. I abandoned XWO a little while after Vlad betrayed me. I enjoyed the tagging for that while but I prefer the singles competition. Torch: I think most people do. Tagging can only get you so far. So, moving away from e-fedding just a little bit. You have your own ‘blog’ called the Seeker Show. How did that come about? Alex: Seeing that many blogs or columns were being made, I decided to make one myself. Talking about spoilers or non-spoilers. Basically a second version of Fear's Rant but with my opinions but mines is now completely wrestling-based. In my first Show, many thought I should have kept doing the blog so I will continue it so it can provide some with news they haven't heard of or my opinions or both. Torch: A lot of people enjoy the blogs. They are fun to read, especially for people that don’t get to watch wrestling all the time (cough:me:cough) Anyway Alex, I think its time again. Is there anything else you would like to say? A message that needs to be sent? Alex: Thank you guys for reading and I hope you enjoy. Oops, did I just do your job Torch? lol. My bad. And gold will be coming my way very soon...I hope. Jeez, thanks Alex. I’ve got nothing to go here now. Haha. But seriously, thanks for being on the show this week. Next week, stay tuned as I have a man who is truly is a ‘hell raiser.’ Tune in for your reality check, as next week I present… Shane Warner. © 2007 Assassination Productions.
