**The scene opens up at the estate of the Iron Man. The front door opens and the lights come on as Missy walks in, followed by a very slow moving Iron Man. Missy helps him in as he stops and has a long look at the KOTD Belt. Missy smiles at him as he looks at her and smiles back.**

Missy: “I’m proud of you Jimmy. You truly proved you can do anything. What a match!”

IM: “Yeah it was . . . and I can feel every bit of it.”

**Missy looks her man over and smiles. Sporting numerous cuts all over his face and body, bandages, stitches, and his arm wrapped up, Iron Man, surprisingly mobile, walks over to the fridge and pulls out a drink. He opens it and turns to face Missy. She walks up and gives him a kiss.**

Missy: “I’m gonna go have a shower and change. You be in soon?”

IM: “Yeah. I’m just gonna check the email and stuff. Won’t be long.”

Missy: “Ok.”

**Missy walks into the master bedroom as Iron Man heads for his office. He sits down and switches on his computer. He glances at his reflection in window next to his desk and smiles, shaking his head.**

IM: “The King of the Deathmatch Champion . . .”

**Iron Man checks his email and check ECWF.com. He smiles as he reads the show highlights and then, seeing a post from a fan, opens up the forum reply and begins typing.**

IM: “What a show! Man did we have a good time! I saw that one of the millions . . . and millions . . . and millions of Iron Man’s fans . . . (sorry I had to do it) asked what I thought of the show as a whole and what my thoughts were on the ECWF as well. If you’ve got an hour . . . here goes . . .

As far as SOL goes, I seriously think that was our best show to date. Last year was awesome and I think this year topped it. The shock value to the show was great. From beginning to end, I think everyone stepped it up. My congrats go to Reaper. That guy has done a hell of a job. Vlad put up a good fight but I think the big man earned that title. I just feel sorry for Jack. Don’t know what the hell he was thinkin. Take it from a man who knows Jack well . . . he used to pull stuff like that in college. So when I heard about it, I wasn’t surprised. But I do think, for the first time, he’s bitten off more than he can chew. For his sake, he better hope Reaper can forgive and forget. Although . . . I don’t think so.

And my boy Rob! How’d you like that? Man that kid has come such a long way. I know he was with us only a short time, but damn if he hasn’t gotten so good at the Pure style. As good as Louie Stevens is, Rob is going to give him a hell of a fight. Congrats kid, you earned that one!

I heard Clay was asking around after the show about the upcoming photoshoot Missy and Billy Jo will be involved in. Without spoiling the goods, all I can say is hot, hot, hot! Missy’s really good at this organizing stuff so you can bet this will be an issue of ECWF magazine you do NOT want to miss.

Can I just say, while Countdown and I don’t really see eye to eye on things, his idea for this UI Invitational was brilliant. That match was great to watch. Despite my own personal feelings on some of those guys, I was impressed. Seeker, Omen and Tarantino did a hell of a job. But Roger Irons pulled it out. Roger, a word of advice from ECWF’s ONLY Iron Man . . . you may be good Bro, but from one of the FEW men whose beaten Countdown, you have a hell of a trial on your hands. Countdown is flat out good. Add to the mix of trying to take his UI title and you’ve got stacked odds. To tell you the truth though, I’m looking forward to seeing how you two go. And Roger, you aren’t qualified to call yourself the real Iron Man. If you feel like disputing that, you know where I am.

My congratulations go out to the East West Connection. You probably won’t find two men that I don’t get along with more than Xpac and WCW. But you can’t deny it was a hell of a match. You beat Steve and Shane. So you must have done something right. Incidentally, that shot that Shane took at the end seemed to phase him more than usual. The way his head snapped back, he never recovered from it. Everyone knows the history between Shane and me, but, at the same time, you never wish things like that on anyone. So Shane, you may not care, but I do hope you didn’t seriously hurt yourself. It’ll be interesting to see what team steps up to the EWC. They’re a decent team to say the least.

The Main Event. Wow! Was ANYONE expecting the Paradigm to be the man under the hood? Some of the newer boys may not know the history but Dave is a Legend in the business. I was shocked to hear he came back. ECWF couldn’t have asked for a better man. And, seeing how he took matters into his own hands with Ackerman, I think he’s going to give the Champ a test he hasn’t seen since . . . me. Add Venom to the mix and Ackerman is in for a world of hurt. That’s not to say Matt can’t handle it. Very few men can handle pressure like Matt. He is one of the best. Should be interesting to say the least. Who knows? Maybe The Iron Man will get to mix it up with the guys down the road.

As for my match . . . what can I say? The three people that call themselves Craig’s fans . . . and who aren’t in his entourage . . . will probably say some lame bullshit about how I got lucky. The fact is, you all saw me do exactly what I said I would. I have had a lot of opponents in my career but very few have the bad blood that Craig and I have. Basically, we hate each other and that’s putting it mildly. But as I’ve said before, you have to give credit where it’s due. Craig put up a big fight. But in the end, I finished it just like I said I would. From what I hear, Craig is going to be out a couple of weeks. Craig, I can’t deny you gave me a hell of a go. But like I told you from the beginning, you called out The Legend and took on more than you can handle. That fact that I took your belt proves that. Bet you didn’t think Pete was going to be there did you? I’m more than just a pretty face. What’s done is done though. I never thought I’d say this to you . . . but thank you. Despite how much we hate each other, you couldn’t have gotten a better match. See you around . . .

Well there you have it. To sum it all up . . . Stage of Legends was so much more than expected and I was damn proud to be a part of it.

On to the ECWF . . . there’s so many things I could talk about. I’ll try not to be too long winded . . .

Well first I’d like to mention the talent. ECWF is, in my opinion, packed with talent. Naturally, you’re going to get guys that don’t like each other. But there wouldn’t be the business if you didn’t have that. Having said that, I believe ECWF has some of the greatest Vets the business has ever seen. Not only that, but the up and comers are a group to watch out for. I don’t think ECWF has ever been short on talent. But then again, I don’t know if we’ve ever had the talent we have now. With the recent changes made in the ECWF, all of our title scenes have become more competitive. Maybe as competitive as ever. The IX title, which I am a big fan of since Claire revamped it, is going to be one hotly contested piece of gold. Some people think this is where the young guys start and work their way up. I happen to believe no title is worth more than another but that each carry their own prestige. A title is a prize that everyone covets, no matter what name it holds. Just so everyone is clear, it’s an honor to fight for, win or defend any title when the opportunities arise. I know there were those who never thought they’d see me holding the KOTD Title. The Iron Man is the total package. Which is why, down the road, if the opportunity ever rises, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to chase the IX Title. That goes for any title. The competition in the ECWF is unmatched but that isn’t to say it couldn’t ever get better. The bottom line is, the fans and the world are in for a hell of a year in the ECWF. Even more so, the roster itself. The talent is unlike any other. So trust me when I say things are about to get crazy.

Backstage, things happen that a lot of people never know about. Let me let all of you in on a little secret . . . all these badass wrestlers, the big guys you wouldn’t mess with, are all big fans of practical jokes. The locker room, for all the differences and bad blood between wrestlers for the most part gets along very well. What you all saw Jack do, for all its foolishness, was just a taste of what goes on behind the scenes. I’d get into details, but I’d be here all night. But to give you a clue, your World Champion at the moment is one of the biggest instigators and well . . . no one is safe . . . not even the Thrillers. Rumor has it that during the bus trip to the PPV, Matt took Brad and Steve into confidence in a plan to make Louie think he’d left his Pure Title back at the last arena. Louie damn near had a heart attack before it was revealed, right before show time mind you, that the title was indeed safe. The lengths Matt will go to sometimes are hard to believe unless you see it for yourself. But, like Matt, many of the guys backstage will do what it takes to take another title for themselves . . . the right to call themselves the official King of the Prank War. It’s a very sought after prize. But I hear with the signing of the Paradigm brings back a new level of competition. I’ll keep you updated.

I need to make a special mention here . . . as far as it goes, I was impressed with Torch not just at the PPV but for the last few months especially. Many fans were caught off guard when I chose Torch to take on Craig last week. Why did I choose him? I think you all know the reason. Torch has a reputation for getting the job done . . . most of the time. I have a lot of respect for the Marine. We don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things but despite a bit of bad luck with the World Title, Torch gets results and he does it effectively. Who knows? Maybe the guy will have a run for the title I hold. He’s been there and done that before. I wouldn’t mind a run with him. But whatever happens, my hat’s off to you Torch. Maybe we’ll see you in the ring . . . if you think you’ve got what it takes.

I was talking with Claire the other day and she brought up something very interesting. It seems a blast from the past has offered his services to the ECWF. Some of you know the history and others don’t. Ever heard of the NBWF? Well it seems the man they call the Modern Marvel has been rumored to be Claire’s most recent signing. No official word yet if this is true but if it turns out to be . . . well . . . the competition just got sweeter.

Let me put out the invitation now to everyone . . . seeing as this column is going to be a regular thing, feel free to submit questions and all that. I’ll do my best to answer them or give my thoughts.

I mentioned Pete before and I thought I’d shed some light on to his condition. Basically, Pete’s not as bad as we made him out to be. However, he is in no shape to compete. He has some slipped discs which will require surgery. He can move about but he can’t do much more. After surgery, he is going to require quite a bit of physical therapy. So the future does have a bright spot for him. But its not blinding. To Pete, I wish you nothing but the best Bro. You’ve been critical in my career and I wouldn’t be here without you. Ratings Inc isn’t gone, just on hold. You do what you’ve got to do and know that when the time is right . . . I hope you’ll be back. Take care Bro and I know I’ll see you around.

That about wraps it up for me for now. Send your questions or whatever else and I will be happy to respond. Thanks to everyone who turned out and thanks to everyone who watched. The fans make us what we are. See you next time . . .

**With that, Jimmy shuts his computer down as Missy calls from the bedroom. He smiles as he drags his tired, beat up body out of his chair and out of the office. He shuts the light off as the scene fades to black.**

(this is in character)

So, i hear that the new KOTD is shedding his perspective on Stage of Legends. First off, i guess this is where i congradulate you. I watched your match Jimmy, it was insane. Personally, i think the highlight of the night.

Also, i'd like to say thanks for your kind words. i know, weird right? you know you aren't my favorite guy on some days, but you ARE a guy that knows this business. believe me, your respect is taken and then returned. but who knows, maybe i'll find myself reuniting with the KOTD again...

you know, we fight for the same thing. we all do. we all fight to make this company the goddamn best it can be. and i think each and every man, and woman, on this roster does that week in and week out.

in the mean time, you make sure you heal up really nicely Jimmy. you never know when the Silent Assassin will strike.

(ooc)
