Welcome to ED Support Online. We hope you enjoy your visit.

We are a friendly and supportive community, run by and for people with eating disorders (EDs). We are NOT in any way pro-ana, instead offering a listening and understanding ear for eating disordered people. EDs are isolating and lonely illnesses and we aim to counter that.

You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. This means you are limited to certain areas of the board and there are some features you can't use. This is a compilation of resources that have worked for me or that I have heard good things about. If you're feeling alone or desperate, please check out these links. I hope they help.

If you are contemplating suicide or are feeling suicidal, please call 1-800-SUICIDE

1. Depression Chat Rooms @ Depression Understood
2. Mental Health Treatment Options & Info
3. Teen Line Online
4. International Suicide Prevention Directory
5. 1-800-DONT CUT
6. Abuse Survivors & Self Injury Support

1. This is a great and HIGHLY ACTIVE chat room with hundreds of members online at a time and easy flowing talk. This website has personally helped me pull through a very rough patch and the members are incredibly friendly and try to maintain a trigger free main chat! This chat is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

2. This website is highly informative. If you struggle with mental illness or mental health disorders and want help but don't know where to begin, Morningside Recovery offers a basic understanding of your options. Treatment is possible!

3. This website contains a phone number you can text or call if you're needing support. "Teen Line is operated by teens, for teens."

4. This is a massive directory containing a list of crisis hotlines by country, region, or state, and includes a distinct section for those of the LGBTQ community in need of help.

5. Self Injury Helpline

6. Browsing through this site for just a moment, and it seems like a great community! The page I linked contains more useful and wonderful links. This website, Fort Refuge, also contains a chat room and a GAME ROOM page which I've found to be quite a cute distraction!
