Main Information
Name: Tristan Ronan Delahunty.
Nickname: Tris, Numbers.
Gender: Male.
Age: 23.
Birthday: November 13th.
Year: 10th.
Blood: Half-blood.
Wand: 11” inch, sequoia, redwood wand. Its origin is from North America and the core is crushed crystal, a calming blend that helps keep his senses cooled down some. As the wand can serve as comfort he almost never leaves it about, keeping it strictly on his person.
Previous School: Sewell Private Academy, a Catholic private school (grades 1-6) Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (years 1-7, Ravenclaw House, Yale University (four year undergraduate degree, majoring in General Mathematics and Physics)
Major’s: Business Management: Business with Economics.

Physical Description:
Height: 6 foot.
Weight: 157 pounds. His weight varies between 155 and 165 on a regular basis, his panic attacks generally working against him to keep his weight down.
Hair: With hair that can largely change with his moods, Tristan tends to keep it shaved as close to his head as possible, though when negligent it can suffer a good few inches before he’ll resign himself to a cut. More often then not however he himself will keep it shaved down, more so that he doesn’t have to deal with it, then for any vain alternative reasoning. He keeps a pretty prominent amount of growth on his face; a beard and mustache, though neatly trimmed as well. Rarely will he ever shave that off, simply out of habit now, though it was at one point started in competition with his cousin Ryan. Piss off the parents; see who could grow better facial hair, dual reasons and he had won. Or at least that’s what he’ll claim.
Eyes: A fairly dark blue, his eyes get lighter towards the center before fading into black pupils. He has a rather prominent brow so one typically would have to get closer to him before recognizing anything that special about his eyes at all.
Accent: A soft-spoken man Tristan’s accent is deeply engrained in his Irish background. As both his parents have strong Irish accents he grew up with the dialect and tone of both.
Ethnicity: Irish.
Other: Tristan often dresses in rich, earthy tones, some navy blue and deep greens and browns often found in his clothing. He wears a good deal of zip-up jackets, fall and winter his favorite seasons, and even in casual wear he’ll often have on a collared shirt of some kind. Though he often dresses in semi-formal wear, suit jackets with good jeans and crisp shirts, he can really be seen in anything that fits. He is not exactly fashion forward and generally his appearance can come off as cuddly rather then sharp, his love of soft materials keeping him generally garbed in warm clothing year round. He always wears matching socks and ties are perhaps one of his favorite accessories though, granted, he does not wear them often. Unbeknownst to even his family Tristan has a tattoo, a tiger, impressively large curving over his hip and onto his lower abs. He got it after a particularly bad attack, berating himself for being weak, finding himself at fault for his issues. The tattoo proved, if only to himself, that he could do something; accomplish something permanent despite his panic. Only a couple of girlfriends have even seen it and in truth it was never for show, more a personal stand then anything else.

Psychological
Personality: There are really two sides to Tristan, one that is more directed to the general public, and the latter that his closer family and friends are lucky to know. A jittery man Tristan will often come off as someone whose been drinking too much coffee which, though being quite true, is not the cause of his need for constant motion. With a set of nerves from the devil himself he finds it easier to keep calm if he is doing something or other at all times: fumbling with the collar on his shirt, unbuttoning and re-buttoning his jacket buttons and much of the same. It gives him the appearance of a fidgety person and he often has to take great mental strides to talk himself out of whatever it is he’s fixated on. These physical symptoms can, and do, lead back to his diagnosis of panic attacks. Though he is on medication so as to keep down the level of actual attacks that take place, he still has to live with many of the same lead-ups; sweating, nervously stumbling through his speech and finding alarm in anything that goes directly against his well laid plans.

Unlike some of his more abrasive family members Tristan is an incredibly thorough man, especially with his planning. If something requires foresight he is the one who will have given it ample time to mellow, checking and crosschecking any flaws in his system before actively going out and pursuing his goals. He is not one of any kind to rashly jump into an engagement of any kind without having weighed and counterweighed his out coming balance; he thinks mathematically, seeing things in black and white numbers before he’ll add color or adjectives to the mix. While this will at times make him appear cold he is truly quite sensitive, a fear of failure keeping him on his toes at all time, and the sense of a constantly impending doom keeping him very much in the straight and narrow. Due to his particularly logical way of dealing with facts he has lost many a date in the past for not being impulsive, passionate, or even openly sensitive enough for their tastes. Though he is essentially quite in tune with when a girl is upset and can, at times, even be able to pinpoint the general cause, he does not like taking unnecessary action until she herself has confirmed all of his beliefs for him. Unwillingly, this often comes off as cold and unreachable.

Believing that intelligence is highly underrated in the modern world Tristan does in fact pride himself on his clinical ways of thinking, finding it to often produce better results in the end, though adding other people into the mix frequently throws a hatchet into his plans. Quite close to his cousin Atarah Kavanaugh she will often understand his actions before he even has to explain them, something the latter, Ryan Kavanaugh, will not always get with such speed or even accuracy for that matter. On the other hand some of his stupider ideas and results have come from moments spent with the overly impulsive cousin, their times drawing him out of his shell in ways that he himself cannot often achieve. The two are bonded rather strongly together, particularly since they’ve known each other for so long, and been connected through birth by their families. Tristan will oftentimes find that with the accompanying presence of such people his panic is often less prominent and more subdued.

Most do not expect him to be the funniest of people and, in fact he often won’t draw attention to himself with loud jokes, or cracks that most people would find terribly amusing. He shares more then not a rather sarcastic sense of humor with Atarah, both finding amusement in the same types of matters, and it is not uncommon for them to make a joke with one another that loses the rest of the room at large. Though he can come off as pompous, both because of this sense of ill-placed humor, and his natural withdrawal due to random bouts of fidgeting, Tristan is hardly anything more then prideful. Pompous behaviors and elitist attitudes are not his strongest trait, though he does take a hard sense of pride for his family name and honor, and this can often come off as one and the same.

History: Born a twin Tristan was special from day one, the younger of the twins, though barely by an hour. He was a healthy child and, out of the two, the quieter one by far. Despite being the first boy born into the Delahunty family he did not live up to the expectations of a self-assured firstborn son, often letting his sister take more of the spotlight. As a tomboy Jakodi and his mother were not always hit off on the best of terms but he found a comforting presence with his sister that even his own parents were not able to fully give. When it came down to it he was much closer to his mother and her to her father, then any other sort of transaction. However the family was quite a bit tighter than many other families that they were raised around and from this Tristan found a bit of comfort.

Though he didn’t display any signs of real physical weaknesses as a child there was always a level of understanding that came with him, one that his mother picked up on more then his father. He was not particularly fussy as an infant but, as he grew older, he became more and more temperamental to his surroundings, often crying in particularly stressful situations or becoming easily afraid of little matters. His family found that putting him in high stressed situations was rarely the best of options and not just situations that would be deemed stressful to the average person but situations that even a normal person could handle. He was extremely sensitive to the bright lights and sounds, often growing dizzy and discombobulated, panic attacks beginning to occur around the young age of eight years old. After realizing the problem as nothing more then a simple diagnosis the doctors finally gave him medication for his attacks and the problem became less and less of an issue. By the time he got his letter to Hogwarts, no visible power showing itself yet, he had gotten a pretty sturdy reign on his body. He knew more or less when he needed to escape, to calm down, and when to take himself out of a situation. The attacks, though not necessarily as debilitating as other such injuries could have been, did put some pressure on him to grow up faster and he did.

Due to his fear of constantly over worrying and falling into an attack Tristan was a rather quiet student, accepted without much easiness into the Ravenclaw house, same as his cousin Ryan Kavanaugh. He went through school with ease, passing most of black and white subjects with ease, though he struggled a bit with his wand work. Potions, mathematics and other subjects that could be brought down to a fine line were easy, simple to follow, and he excelled in all of them. It was in his mathematics courses that he began to make a small crowd of friends, his fidgety nature not bothersome to their group, and though he never achieved the broadest realm of popularity while at Hogwarts he did have his specific crew. While at Hogwarts he also became friends with a broad group of people through Ryan, his closeness with his cousin growing over the years. It was at Hogwarts more then anywhere that also brought him closer to Ryan’s sister, Atarah Kavanaugh. Though they had grown up together their interactions had been more limited to simple family functions, Hogwarts letting them experience one another’s company outside the boundaries of family gatherings and dinners. As a half-blood he was hardly the cream of the top, though his step above the muggleborns saved him from most pretension and bullying.

Leaving Hogwarts, with his steady base of companions, was perhaps one of the hardest things for Tristan to do. As difficult as he found it to find new friends his next few years at Yale University, a highly esteemed college where he majored in mathematics, were easily some of his loneliest years. Separated from his twin for one of the first times in his life he suddenly came to realize how much he had come to depend on Jakodi, her laughter and smile a needed application in his life, no matter the times that he had come to see her as an annoyance. Though they had a younger sibling he found that they were nowhere as close, even to the bonds that he had formed with the Kavanaughs in his age group. Graduating from Yale with honors and recommendations it was decided that he continue his education in a magical university and, though there were several options, he eventually chose Elysion after finding that most of his immediate family would be attending the same college. Majoring in Business with focus on Economics, a six year study that would push him into focus of several high powered businesses in Europe, Tristan came to Elysion at twenty-two and began studying once again.

The summer after his 8th year at Elysion Tristan was selected to serve as an intern in a high profile business in France. The internship was an honor and he took it, once again leaving the safety and comfort of those he knew well, and it was worthwhile for by the end of the three months they kept him he had garnered a much better understanding of businesses in general. Delahunty, a high name in society, along with his hard work and much accomplished grades he has high hopes for a prominent future in running marketing numbers for large companies; a well-paying job with a sturdy future.

Family:
Winford Delahunty: As Tristan’s father the man is a genuinely good man even though they aren’t particularly close. Though Winford has been a fantastic father to his son they just have never been able to truly click on any deeper level.
Kaleigh Delahunty: Though his mother can be a rather impersonal woman with no real attachment to her children she has always been the one that most easily understood Tristan’s issues. Even if she has been rather closed off to his more emotional needs he has found her easiest to speak to about personal matters, if solely because they are both logical thinkers.
Jakodi (Jak) Delahunty: The older twin of the family, though only by a little over an hour, Jak as she prefers to be called is a twenty three year old witch studying Charms at Elysion University. By nature she is very rebellious, with a free spirit and a sarcastic nature that comes out around her mother. She and her mother do not get along; Jak is a tomboy and proud of it, and her mother thinks that this is no way to find a husband. She and Tristan are quite close if not world’s apart in differences and though he claims to protect her it has often been the other way around.
Tracy Delahunty: The fourteen year old little brother of the twins, Tracy is very much the annoying little brother who enjoys playing pranks on everyone round him, especially by magical means. Tristan is not particularly close to him, though they are blood related, and he does not often talk to the boy. They love one another but it is more out of the fact that they are siblings then any real connection.
Atarah Kavanaugh: One of his favorite cousins, Tara and Tristan are quite close and he confides in her more so then even her brother Ryan may at times get. Both being somewhat separated individuals they have a strange connection and he has often been perplexed by his feelings for her, simply because there is no black and white box into which he can seem to fit them.
Ryan Kavanaugh: The second cousin, he and Ryan are very close and have been for sometime. The two compliment one another nicely and Tristan has found that he can often relax easiest when Ryan’s keeping him busy with some antic or another. Tristan considers him to be one of his best friends, though the feeling has never been put down onto paper.

Miscellaneous
Pet: LadyLady, a pink-crested Cockatoo given to him as a present by an ex-girlfriend. Though he has not had many women in his life he has had a few, the one in question lasting shorter then most, basically just long enough to dump her unwanted bird on him. She was a baby then and since then they have grown quite close, his attachment to his bird has grown, finding him very protective over her. Though she gets along well with most of his company she is herself quite attached to him, a bond formed over necessity.
Knowledge/Talents: When it comes to singing Tristan is nothing special however he will on rare occasions frequent various karaoke bars, usually accompanied by Ryan, and in those moments he is not altogether bad to listen to. He can usually hit most keys in a song, even if his voice doesn’t have the strength to hold it together for long amounts of time, but he usually has to be in some altered state of mind to even be temped into publicly singing, as without it he tends to get a bit panicked by the whole ordeal. He can also speak a couple of different languages, some broken French, a more fluent Italian, and he’s more then fluent in Latin. Though he doesn’t have any particular interest in cars his father bought him a stupidly expensive car, a black TeslaTesla. Though Tristan knows how to drive, and quite well at that, he is far too nervous to truly enjoy the car and some time ago bought a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, a cheap ride that he put some money into himself to make drivable. The car gets him from point A to point B and it is rare that you’ll see him driving anything but. Though his 1979 is not bad on looks it does have several engine problems and, with the amount he has put into it over the years, it isn’t truly worth it.
Special Ability: Specific Memory Enhancement: Tristan has the ability to cohesively recall any specific strand of codes or numbers. If he can relate an object of some sort to numbers then he will be able to remember it indefinitely. With this he is also able to recall long lines of numbers, having had PI memorized since the first time he read it. Though a simple power it is ridiculously useful to him given his major and interests. He is also able to use it for other more specific means for instance if he needed to recall a block of text he could, in a roundabout way, put a number to each letter and translate it back out after memorizing the code. His ability has given him the upper hand, and he certainly won’t deny using it for school, seeing it as a gift rather then a way to cheat.
