Regular Forum Appleoosa
Located in the Painted Pinto Desert, Appleoosa is an Earth Pony dominated frontier town, full to bursting with down home charm and stark, wood and whitewash architecture. Its Salt Bars are world renowned, even though its population is still rather small.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Saddle Arabia
The desert kingdom of Saddle Arabia lies to the south of Equestria, just beyond the badlands. Many ponies go there expecting to see camels and an abundance of oil rigs, but tourists are often in for a big surprise: It turns out that the population is mostly made up of Arabian horses, odd, lanky ponies that lack cutie marks, and that the oil the kingdom is so famous for actually comes from palm trees. Saddle Arabia is a popular tourist destination for those intrigued by the exotic, but please try to stay in the cities and out of the open deserts: Marauding tribes of horses and camels lurk there, just waiting for unsuspecting ponies to capture and steal from.
