Well if it makes you feel any better, if we get sent to hell that means God isn't all forgiving. That means he will probably send a bunch of other people to hell. Most likely the people that have been telling us we are going to hell since they are judging us and they aren't suppose to do that. |

People shouldn't live thier lives based on whether or not they are going to heaven or hell. Eternal life is a gift God gives to all humans. You don't have to got to church and pray with roseries to get into heaven. I'm a strong believer in God, i think people don't have to live the perfect flawless life to get into heaven.
i got that quote from here You aren't going to be sent to "hell" (if there is one) just for believing in something else. God isn't gonna get mad and say "YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN ME?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!? GO TO HELL!!!!!!" He doesn't work like that. |

Pardon, but, then what's the point of living? If salvation is equated to belied, and salvation is a gift from God, then the belief itself is a gift from God so why the hell does he like these Christians better than me? I used to believe in everything the Bible said. Why did God take back the gift? What's the point of a choice when it's up to the big guy anyway? If there isn't a point, then God is a sociopath who just wants to watch everyone die. |

It's not all up to the big guy. Everyone lives, everyone dies, its part of life. Jesus really did exist, i think most people can agree with that. Even Jesus Christ, the son of God, the savior, died. Are you saying God is a sociopath who wanted to watch his own son die? It's not up to God about how you die. Humans killed Jesus, because they have to power to make decisions on earth, not God. I'm not saying God just sits back in his recliner and flicks on the TV and watches it all unravel, I'm saying he lets humans do thier own thing and in times of trouble he might help a person here or there. I think you believe God doesnt care about you anymore, that he cares more about Christians, because you have seperated yourself from God. Think back in your life when you needed him most. Did you just assume He wasn't there for you? If so, why did you just assume this? Because a giant arm wasn't coming from heaven to guide you through the pain? Or maybe you did believe He was with you through times of pain, yet you still felt horrible inside. That is just a part of life you have to realize it. Or maybe you never actually "needed" God in your life, this is how i was. You didn't have actual pain and heartache in your life. You automatically think He is not there. Maybe it's because you REALLY didn't need God yet. He was letting you live your life the way you wanted. OR maybe He was blessing you in disguise with a wonderful life and you just thought of it as ordinary and boring (like i did) I'm not trying to put thoughts in your head or words in your mouth. I don't personally know you, so i don't know your story, forgive me if i seem like i am prying into your life. You dont have to answer or respond to this post. But if you don't mind, why do you think God likesChristians more than he likes you? |

Even if Jesus existed, haven't you've ever thought rationally? He could've just been an incoherent insane guy who spouted off some inane ideals, "I'm the son of god LOL". If you'd here that today, would you believe it? |

We have our share of meglomaniacs in our society yelling out "I AM GOD, I AM THE SON OF GOD!" But i don't believe them. I do think rationally. I'm sure before Jesus there were people claiming to be God, and certainly after Jesus there were people claiming to be God. No offense, but can you think rationally for a second.. we are talking about Jesus Christ.. ONE man who single handedly changed the world. Can you just imagin how much of a big deal he must have been back then. We are living in the year 2006, we based our entire calendar on him... People followed this guy, people would do anything to catch a glimpse of him, people devoted thier entire lives to him (and still do). Show me a man (or woman) today with as much influence as Jesus, who also claims to be Jesus and i will be impressed... |

I don't have a specific theory about God and that stuff but one thing is that I don't believe in hell. I really like what Muller said about it. People change so much that hell shouldn't really matter. For example what if someone was raised in a really bad neighborhood, joined a gang, and lived a really sinful life. This guy commited many sins and eventally got in a huge gang war with another gang. After this war, the guy decided he didn't want to live this type of life and completely changes. He helps other people and totally turns his life around. Should he be allowed in heaven even after what he did before? An even deeper question is should he be allowed in heaven if he died in that gang war instead of living a full life? |

Hell may have been an idea created by man, just to scare people. Maybe hell only exists on earth. For instance the people living with war at thier front door, people without freedom, people with out food or money. In God's eyes all humans are equal. In heaven all humans (now only spirits, cuz they are dead) are equal. (in my opinion of course) Maybe once that guy in the gang dies, he is sent to the after life full of sin. You don't need a physical body to repent yourself, he can still do so before he gets to heaven. (in my opinion) Once he does maybe God or whoever/whatever lets him in and is treated as an equal and gets to enjoy the eternal life. |

That is the only way that an just God can work. There is no way to have a hell and a just God. One of the two have to be wrong (if not both). |

I have to say I agree with you. Never mind if Jesus was the son of God or anything special like that. I think he at least had to be a very good speaker and a very charismatic man. He might have been insane, the son of God, or a great con artist, but either way he was interesting. |

I was wondering when someone would point out the obvious: there is zero evidence of one Jeshua ben Joseph having ever actually existed outside of the Bible's pages. |
