Sadly, it's only a matter of time though.

Playstation 6 :P
I've already seen something on the internet called the $100 laptop - here.

I couldn't be bothered to read it though  but I'm guessing computers are going to get better, and more affordable.

Edit: Also this "Virgin Galactic" company will have resorts in space. Haha that would be weird. Go swimming in space :P

A fine idea, but don't people think that actually ensuring children have enough to eat is more important than giving everybody laptops?
A squatter's made a mural of a Mexican girl,
With fifteen cans of spray paint in a chemical swirl.
She's standing in the ashes at the end of the world,
Four winds blowing through her hair.

i expect that tv abd computers will be merged into a single appliance. we will probably be able to have various implants isntalled like cell phones but it will be quite expensive.
It's quite simple: knowledge is power.

Which is more important, giving a kid in a third world country a laptop computer, or feeding them for three months?

Which is more important, giving a kid in a third world country a laptop computer, or feeding them for three months?

The point is to spread knowledge throughout the destitute areas and connect them to the internet so as to solve problems they will encounter during their lives. If you give food, then they eat it and then are no better off, but if you give them the internet, allowing them to improve their crops' yields and survival rates, then you are better off in the long run. In the first village they tested this disease went down and the crop yields went up. Imagine if you had these villages connected in order to trade and share information.

If who can't read how good is the internet? Even better, how good is the internet when you're dead of starvation? I agree that the internet would be a good thing for third-world countries but every person doesn't need it. Food would be a lot better for a family. The internet would be good for the community.

It will not matter what is invented in the year 2025 because everyone will be too busy paying homage to their NEW SUPREME DICTATOR OF THE WORLD "PIE IS DELICIOUS!"

Also we will be able to watch movies in our sleep, the bad news is that we won't be able to escape advritisments, even in our dreams.

Is this real? Maybe I'm just ignorant, but the page seems like a joke. They're charging a $1.50 lunar tax? I think we need to explore the moon a bit more before we can take a page selling lunar real estate seriously.

So basically his sight is just blowing smoke up the collective asses of idiots who send him money. I mean really, so you spend $20 ($1.50 lunar tax included) on a small plot of land on the moon nevermind the fact that you probably will never be able to step one foot on your property. The scary thing is there is people out there that will give this clown money for a strip of lunar property. I think I'm going to start following my dog around the yard and start a website selling dog shit for $20($1.50 turd fee included) a bag. I bet someone will buy it.
