Somebody would create a reason. Unless we were basically doppelgangers of each other, someone will find a reason to fight. I agree with Kleptonis in that the individual is the biggest obstacle to peace. As to whether the world can realistically be at peace without losing a feeling of individualism... |

We would still fight with eachother. Just because it isn't a major difference, we would still find one. Like the phrase "war is peace", if we don't have something big to fight about, we will find something small to fight about. |

Individuality and peace aren't necessessarily mutually exclusive. Now, nationalism and peace, that's another story. For real peace, we would require some planetary form of government, be it from a Dictator or a massive-scale direct democracy. |
