Hmm...I'd have to say Atheist cause all the rest would try to force thier religon on myself (I'm Ukrianain Catholic), whereas the Atheist probely won't care. (Unless they want to argue about why there is no God, which won't come up unless the subject of religon come up.)

Depends on whether you get an activist atheist or one who, you know, isn't a total fucking moron.

Activist atheists -- I like to call them "fundy atheists" just to rile 'em up good -- are every bit as obnoxious as their religious counterparts.

I'll keep that in mind.

Various factors make Jerusalem holy to Muslims At first glance, the holiness of Jerusalem in the Muslim tradition is also religious at heart, and stems from the belief that prophet Muhammad (PBUH) rose to heaven from the site of the Holy Temple mount (now where to mosques stand dome of the rock and Al-Aqsa mosque) in Jerusalem

Why do you have to write (PBUH) after you mention a prophet's name? And what does it stand for?

PBUH means Peace Be Upon Him. It is a sign of profound reverence and respect.

What's Islam's view on the similair Monotheistic religons of Christianity and Judeism?

I had to ask, I just hope the responce doesn't have "infidials" in it. It's a serious question, I've always been curious on what a real Muslim thought on the subject....

Jews and Christians aren't infidels, they can get into Heaven just as we can. The only negative points about them are their were recopied carelessly, Christians have the Jesus story wrong and Jews have a long history of bad run ins with God. But we should leave them be and strive to live peacefully with them, as ( like I said previously) they can get into Heaven just as we can, and complusion is not permitted in religious matters. They're not infidels, and we're perfectly allowed to be friendly with them.

We pray 5 times a day, just before dawn, noon, around three in the afternoon, dusk and shortly after dusk ( like maybe an hour or so).

Wow great posts... never thought i would know so much about your religion.
Special thanks to sabertooth and Blackrider5 for the good work.

now for my question.....

is there any special conditions to be granted forgiveness from your god?
is it more difficult for greater crimes?

Your welcome, agafaba.

Praying frequently and being a good boy ( or girl) is enough, and you need to be honest about seeking forgiveness. Of course sins range from little, to big to downright unforgivable. Going on Hajj or Umraa wipes you of all your sins but the unforgivable ones.

Mind explaining Hajj and Umraa? Also, what constitutes an unforgivable sin? Is it truly unforgivable or is that just a name?

Hajj is pilgrimage to Mecca at around Eid Al-Adha, if I'm not mistaken, around now. Umraa is pilgrimage any other time of year. I'm not sure what constitutes unforgivable sin, but it is truly unforgivable.
