How many times do you pray a day?

And do you have any winners?

Hajj is pilgrimage to Mecca at around Eid Al-Adha, if I'm not mistaken, around now. Umraa is pilgrimage any other time of year. I'm not sure what constitutes unforgivable sin, but it is truly unforgivable.

Can you provide an example, then?

Take your time on the questions, as I see a long queue at the moment. :)

Katastrof, Barzakh is the state in which a man stays in his grave until Judgement Day ( Yawm Al Qiyama). In his grave ( it is believed) she will be asked three questions by angels which will indicate whether he was good or bad in life: Who is your Lord? Who is your prophet? What is your way of life? Answer correct, and you will hear God's voice, you will be shown your place in Heaven, the space of your coffin will expand as far as the eye can see and scents from Heaven shall flow down into your grave. Answer wrong, and you hear God's angered voice, you're shown your place in Hell, your grave will contract until your ribs are like clasped hands, and snakes so venomous that they could destroy life on earth start biting you, eating pork does not achieve that. Personally, I believe you do wait in your grave until Yawm Al Qiyama, but the rest of the stuff doesn't happen, as I've found evidence within the Qu'ran for waiting in your grave, but no fragrances or snake biting ( of course it could be in there but I haven't found it yet), and I think you'll be questioned in the afterlife before getting sent to Heaven or Hell. I've mentioned before that we pray 5 times a day. Could you elaborate on what context of winner?

Flamingo, Djinn, you could say, are Islamic demons, but that is not the whole story. The djinn are beings very much like humans, they eat, sleep, have kids and their own societies. Angels are created from light, and do not have the free will to choose between right or wrong, they can only do what's right. Humans are made of clay, Djinn are created from smokeless fire, and both races have the free will to choose between right and wrong. We cannot see the Djinn, unless they allow themselves to be seen. They have powers surpassing that of humans, some can travel at great speeds, other can fly, and some can shapeshift. Djinn can also worship God, and can even be Muslim, and can be pious or downright sinners. They also have the power to posess people, either by inhabiting their bodies, or persuading them to do evil deeds, though I'm not completely sure about the possesion thing. As stated by Muhammed (pbuh) once, every human being has a Djinni companion. The Devil in our culture is a Djinn, and his grandson converted to Islam.

Neo, our good Mr. Chode has brought us a fine example. :D

Queue? What queue? B)

For a while there, I thought you were making fun of Chode by saying he was an unforgivable sin.

Then I read his earlier post.

I just got done watching a pretty good (and very long) movie called, "The Message". Starring Anthony Quinn and Omar Sharrif. The movie is about the prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), and the beginnings of Islam. It is regarded by Muslim leaders as "historically accurate".

My Questions are: Have you seen the movie?

Do you agree with the notion that the Prophet's face not be shown, in any light, Heroic/Dramatic included? Is this up for debate in the muslim culture? And, Why is it not acceptable to show the Prophet's face, even in a favorable light?

Is Mohammed's Uncle, an important part of Islamic History? Where does he stand in relation to Mohammed, peace be upon him.

And Last but not least, Can you tell me anything a bout the Ka'Ba? Or point me in the direction of some good info on the culture that surrounded the Ka'Ba'?

It was a very fascinating movie, and truly brought about understanding of the move from peace toward violence. Under the circumstances they (the first Muslims) were put in, and how they actually went about their battles, is truly something to admire.

So if I don't put the (PBUH) after I say your prophet's name, will you be offended?

I have seen the movie when I was younger. They made me watch it at my Arabic school. I agree with how they showed his face. Muslims don’t really like depicting the prophet Mohamed (PBUH) because when it is thought that once you depict someone (back then) and that person dose great things, the people start turning away from Islam and start worshiping the idol.

Mohammed’s uncle was of great importance because his parents died very early in his life so his uncle took him in and started razing him as his own.

PBUH is considered a sign of respect. I don’t think Muslims will get offended if you (a non-Muslim) don’t say it, but if you do they tend to respect you more, seeing that you are very respectful to our religion.

Thank you for saying (PBUH) it Sinister, really means a lot coming from you due to the fact that you’re not Muslim.

Any more questions?

Do you say "Peace be upon him" when you say a prophet's name or do you only write (PBUH)?

The last thing you want I think is a spanking by your father while you're in possession of dirty pictures...unless your into things like that...not saying you are.
