So what are your views on abortion over there?

Abortion is a big no no.

So is it illegal there or is it greatly frowned upon? Is there consequences if someone does abort their pregnancy? Is it sometimes o.k. to abort in certain situations like rape or health problems?

Abortion is not permitted under any circumstances, except when the health of the mother is endangered, certified by a doctor.

Question 1: Is it a bad thing when a woman gives birth to a child but she is not married?

Question 2: What are the different ways you get put to death over there?

A muslim doctor, I take it?

What about the use of pharmacueticals to treat pain during preagnancy?

So Muslims have their own faith based schools of medicine?

There are obviously some ethical differences between the medicine practices here in the states (occasionaly atrocious), and what goes on in muslim practices...

Do either of you know any distinct differences, like say, euthanasia?

What about psychological practices? Is psychology credible in the Muslim world?

1..Any docter, but if your living in a muslim country...it'll obviously be more likely that it's a muslim docter.

2..Fine....but nothing that will harm the baby.

3..if you consider praying for the one sick a "faith based schools of medicine" then yes, we also use modern medicine

4...Please elaborate more

5...please elaborate more

6....Dont worry were not like scientologists, we (people who need it) aslo go to seek psychological help.

That is pretty sick. I'm pretty sure hanging is practiced over there too considering Suddam is going to be hung. Is the electric chair, lethal injection, or the gas chamber used at all?

Yah well, these laws might seem bad but the adultry rate there is 300% less then the U.S and the crime there is 200% less then U.S. So when you look at the greater good, the affects on the economy and child abandentment (E.X...Orphens, street children, child sex slaves, abandoned infents/murdered infents...ect) these laws arent actually as bad as they sound.

You can't really compare the crime rates between two counties as different as a Muslim nation and the US. They have totally different laws and they are enforced differently. I would go out on a limb and say most law violations in the US are traffic violations. Now, if you live in a country with less automobiles there will be less traffic violations.

Culture plays a bigger role in the lower amount of crime than penalty does. I have some Somalian Muslim friends which are very religious and I can't see them breaking the law. Religion plays a bigger role in their life than it does for my other non-Muslim friends so they will follow their religion's law more often than my Christian friends.

Hasher penalties are also proven not to reduce crime.

Combined there are more citizens in muslim countrys then in the U.S and therefor the crime rate combined is higher, but when you rationalize it per capita the crime rates are less then the U.S.

And to hawk...
Well then it looks like those friends of yours are really good people. But your wrong on the fact that"Harsher penalties are also proven not to reduce crime." It has been proven over and over again(in polls, surveys and studys) that the harsher the penalty is for the crime, the less people attempt commiting it. Also It and some other things, have proven to be a very strong last minute detertion of people about to commit a crime.
