War can (emphasis on can) be considered fighting for the greater good, which means that taking one or two lives will help thousand if not millions more.
Dropped the atomic bomb let them know that it's real
Speak soft with a big stick do what I say or be killed

I think it depends on if you're fighting for something you believe in when it comes to war. If you're drafted into a fight you are against, then I could see reasons why you wouldn't want to kill.

Killing for love and revenge is usually the same thing isn't it? Say for example you had a friend or girlfriend that was raped and killed, and you find out who it was that did it. Would you kill the guy or hurt him? It's circumstances like this that makes you think. I know I would if I found out who it was.

I would kill in self defense, or in a Glorious Revolution, but that is about it.

I'd kill for those reasons, too.

Glorious Revolution? Feh.

Any time someone wants to talk "revolution" I get echoes of The Who:

Killing isn't bad, as long as the asshole deserves it. Just no innocents, women and children.

Wine in hand, in the other, Quran,
Both halal I do and haram,
In this incomplete world of a sham,
Neither Pagan I am, nor Musselman!

Omar Khayyam

Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, idolater, worshipper of fire,
Come even though you have broken your vows a thousand times,
Come, and come yet again.
Ours is not a caravan of despair

What makes women and children more innocent then men?

Because, by instinct, men are suppose to protect their "pack" which means your family. The women are the carriers of your offspring and your offspring means your legacy will be carried on. This is why women and children are considered more innocent over men.

there will always be people killing people. They will kill for 3 reasons. (which are publicly known) Passion, profit, and compulsion. Is it right to kill another person? no, It's not right. Do I care if they execute serial murderers? no, of course not! In a way it is better to let them serve the rest of their lives in prison, it's almost like torture. Some of them would want to blow their brains out.
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. You think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fucking cross? It's like going up to Jackie Onassis wearing a rifle pendant.

Killing is only ok in a few cases.

Someone cheated on you and you caught them and you happend to be a buisness man.

In self defence.

Your a viking.

or you know your in war.

Anyway theirs really no other reason too kill another person besides those three reasons..four reasons..Revenge isn't somthing you should go do unless you can pull it off without making revenge for someone else..Also people are supposed to kill eatch other it's our god given nature. "and god said let the human animal that doth not be eaten'd by snake nor by water meat, thein kill their own thein kind, and the titans noded and it was good, and let friday was topless night at the pub down the lane from that duplex I lived in when I was 7." so ya.

If someone hurts or kills a person close to you (wife, child, parent....ect) then you have just cause to set it right. Maybe my philosophy isn't politically right, but I think people should have to live up and answer to their decisions.

While I don't believe vengeance to be morally justifiable, I may do it anyways. I don't need to justify my actions by calling it "justice." It's vengeance. Nothing more, nothing less.

I would kill for a few reasons.

Self defence. If someone is trying to kill me, then im sure as hell not going to sit there and die because killing is "wrong."

Id also kill for the ones I love. If someone kills someone I love and I have a chance to kill them without too many repurcussions than they might as well say goodbye.

The army you really dont have a choice. If you kill someone it may be immoral, but they were shooting at you as well. And if you dont shoot when ordered you get in trouble anyway so you may as well drop your morals for a bit and protect yourself.

Revolution is a possibility. I would if I had to, but peaceful revolutions works too.
