according to george bush, if you fund, train or harbour a terrorist then you yourself are a terrorist,

the president has done all of those things.

that is americas main tactic,

don't help your friends, help the enemies of your enemies.

This is why America is in the state it's in right now. We did harbour these people, gave them the means to do what they're doing and gave them political and military support. Now, it comes back and bites us in the ass. We are our own worse enemy sometimes.

thats the simple lesson that America needs to learn,

An enemy of your enemy isn't neccesarily your friend.

No, and we've found this lesson out on more than one occasion, Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden only being the most recent.

No the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Just a part-time friend. Once the enemy that you two share is gone, you're screwed.

And this isn't a tactic, its more of a stratagy...

Which is why Bush is an idiot (well, one of the reasons). He is out there condeming a tactic that we used in the past, probably are using right now, and almost certainly will want to use in the future. What he should be comdeming is the goals of these particular brand of terrorists.

an enemy of your enemy is not really your friend, in most cases they do make a temporary friendship but they may still try and screw you over whenever they can.

They are your friend only if you have something they want/need in return.

i suppose it depends on the specific situation.

Or what kind of technology and weapons or financial support we're willing to part with.

I don't really trust this source but it is decently intersting. It really implies that we are to attack Iran in the next month.

Dropped the atomic bomb let them know that it's real

I have found the enemy and he is us.

Well, we have sent more troops over to the Middle East, specifically Iraq, which is Iran's neighbor. It wouldn't be hard to walk next door and introduce ourselves....

Or at least give them a friendly heads up wave before bombing them back into the stone ages.
