I hate threads like these. What does it matter if you really do or don't exist? People should really stop getting their panties in a knot aboot this kinda BS.

oh, i concur... philosophy is like scientific masturbation... it's enjoyable, sure, but it can't yield a real, tangible outcome and in the end it's not all that satisfying...


That is all.

I like the what happened to being a kid and wondering if we are really alive philosophy, but this stuff is boing because no one can never prove or disprove it.

Hmm...boring not really, insightful not really. I have a feeling this all has to do with Rene Decartes. He found out though that nothing but his doubt could be proven and that one has to take the risk of believing...

Well, he was himself, and you know that you exist right? I know that I exist, I will never be able to prove that to you because you might not even exist. But I have deicided to, as Kasatrof said, to take the risk of beliving, other wise there really isn't a point of this wondering that leads up to nothing.
