Which would pretty much end Christianity on the spot. Before any conclusions are made on what they found, research needs to be made to varify the remains. I have a gut feeling this is going to erupt into an ugly situitation......

Christianity is basically disproven, with all the new evidence against it.

All the Bible belt towns and 1.3 Billion Catholics can't be wrong.... :D
Wine in hand, in the other, Quran,
Both halal I do and haram,
In this incomplete world of a sham,
Neither Pagan I am, nor Musselman!

Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, idolater, worshipper of fire,
Come even though you have broken your vows a thousand times,
Come, and come yet again.
Ours is not a caravan of despair

I'm not going to argue the point again, but I do not believe this is really the tomb of Jesus for a logical reason. Mary the mother of God lived in Nazareth, why would she be buried 60km from her hometown?

I don't know how you'd ever prove it was Jesus or not, scientifically.

For as long as we live, people will try to destroy organized religons until God or some other spiritual being comes down from Heaven to set us straight. This is just another attempt that will blow over with all the other conspiracies.

It's funny, BBC found this in the 60s and didn't believe and now that it's been 40 years I guess they (not the BBC, the guy who made Titanic) are trying to profit off it...

I'm sick of people making fun of Christianity. When you publish a cartoon of Mohammed the world stops but Christianity is still fair game. I sick of people making fun of religion in general.

I make fun of all three of the main Abrahamic faiths roughly equally in proportion to how often I encounter them. Now in an average year about 1% of the people I meet are openly Jewish, 5% are openly Muslim and maybe 20% are openly Christian. So Christians get ragged on four times as much as Muslims do and 20 times as much as Jews do.

It's really simple, Bigfoot: you make fun of what's in your face the most often.

So this will go on forever then. People don't attempt to destroy Christianity they just find evidence that it can't possibly be true but the majority don't take it seriously because they've spent too much of their lifes believeing to finally take the plunge and say "I was wrong".

You can't. Unless eventually we find out that Revelations was in fact true and along with ducking and dodging the fire balls and lightning during the last battle between good and evil we hear "'Sup J-Dog, hows 'bout a DNA sample, it's for the good of all humanity!".

I saw a clip that tried to prove statistically, that the names of all three: Jesus Joseph and Mary were virtually impossible to be in the same place...
I'm thinking...WTF? That doesn't prove anything but that those three names were rare back then..if that.

As much as I would like to disprove Christianity, this ain't gonna do it.

You ask me I'd Say Cameron has spent too much time underwater. Do the bends affect your mindset, permanantly?

They say in the clip that it is about a 1 in 600 chance that those names would be together.
