I like books. I sometimes read to get away from the television or computer for once, but now you can download books which i suppose is good but i think its better to have an object that is a book that i can put in my bookcase instead of reading off a screen. I think the name of this device is called the "I book"

My dear fucking god. The teacher assigned an essay on The Killer Angels. He gave us the topic sentence. So we basically had to write what he gave us which was something to the effect of "I liked (WTF) Killer Angels because it was interesting (or unexpected) and because it taught me new things about the Civil War."

I promptly polled the class, and not one of them liked the book.

I proceeded to kick some teacher ass.

Opened up a can-o'-WHOOPASS!

I read stories people write and post online all the time. But after reading a few chapters I'll look away from the screen and I see spots everywhere. I use to have 20/10 vision or w/e you call it. Now I can barely read stuff on a poster across the room =( Computers are bad for reading, I suggest never doing it.

I wouldnt mind it, if the teacher wasnt a douche. Like, we have to read Romeo and Juilet, which isnt all that terrible, but she makes the dumbest kids read, so one act is like a week long, and she thinks every other line is funny and does that annoying bitch laugh. I just wanna smack the kid in the face who's like "where.... art.... thufiasojfou..." and teabag the teacher.

I guess the point of this is, if you're shoe size is more than your IQ, instead of banning books, we should ban you.
I was sitting in the park one day and wondered why frisbees look bigger as they get closer to you. And then it hit me.

Reading off a screen sucks. If only there was an invention to have the screen read to you. Maybe one day...

I HATE that.

The kids are practically ILLITERATE.
The teachers are STUPID, too.

My teacher is a male. He talks like his nuts were stomped
on and his shemale of a wife does him when he gets home.
He talks with this squeak. Not like he's gay
(though he sounds like it), but when he's talking his voice will
suddenly crack. Not crack for 1 word, no, an entire sentence and then some.

I hated....more like loathed Romeo and Juliet. Christ, it was like getting teeth pulled with a rusty pair of pliars. What pissed me off was when you heard that there was going to be a quiz on the act you were reading that day. How could I be tested on something I wasn't conscious for? And there always that one kid that couldn't read at a pre-school level and they always volunteered to read. Next you would see half the class passing around a razor blade and slitting their wrists because boredom was turning into depression. I think any teacher that makes their class read Romeo and Juliet out loud should be teabagged by an elephant.

I didn't find Romeo and Juliet to be that bad. I had a good teacher when we did read it so that might have been it...

I just thought it was loooong and boring. If I had to pick a play from Shakespear it would either be Julius Caesar or A Mid-Summer Night's Dream. Those are two of my favorites, Romeo and Juliet just was long and uninteresting. Maybe if I had a teacher that would have made it better to read, my opinion would be different.

Mid-Summer's Night Dream was good. I haven't read Ceasar though.
