You have a "once in a lifetime" chance to advance your own situitation with doing something against your own set of morals/ethics. Would you do something like this to get a huge gain in your life, or would your concience overtake your ambition and you would turn it down? How would you handle it?

I'd turn it down. I'm not going to let others pay just to make myself rich.

I can easily deny ethics for gain but that doesn't mean I would actually do it.

Also, the question I ask myself is could I do something unethical for an overall gain. For example, the assassination of an oppressive ruler.
Dropped the atomic bomb let them know that it's real
Speak soft with a big stick do what I say or be killed
I'm America!

It wouldn't be a question of ethics for me...

It'd be a question of lazyness vs. ambition... And Lazyness wins out 95% of the time.

I don't know if I would call that unethical. If you're assassinating a leader similar to Hussein or the like, it would be more ethicical or justifiable to kill rather than to watch innocent people around you be tortured or oppressed.

Bee...

The ONLY thing I consider "wrong" in my code of ethics, is killing myself.

If my life is that bad off that killing myself will actually BETTER it...then i'm taking some of you sorry bastards with me on PRINCIPLE.

So, yes, I suppose, if it came down to it.

No. Once you do something that's against your code of ethics, then your standard is lowered, and you'll do things that you may not, simply because you can compare it to that precedent. Eventually, it ends badly.
To hell with that.

Yeah, I really shouldn't have put it THAT way, honestly. I think it's probably my general dislike of humanity's social systems that tends to grind my gears to the breaking point.

It is one thing to joke of violence. It is another to be stupid enough to actually try it.

I say a lot of things that may be seen as threatening or offensive, but i'm actually quite tame. I'm far too busy spending massive amounts of time at work and on the internet to do any real damage. Sociopathic disorders are frightening, but keeping them under control is the real trick.

But I digress, i'm derailing the topic. Ethics, let's continue.

I don't think there is ever going to be a time where getting ahead in life will go against my morales.

"Who was the most beautiful Seraph in Heaven?"
And I reply, "Seraph Michael?"
"No."
And I reply, "Seraph Samael?"
"No."
And I reply in finality; "Then surely, Seraph Seraphiel."
"No.
The most beautiful Angel in Heaven was,
Seraph Lucifer
And as He fell, His feathers departed
Thusly, were the Souls of man and woman
Tis the reason why He wishes so desperately for
His Lost Feathers... His Wings...
To fly
Back Home."

For me so long as I am better than somebody for whatever reason I have no problem taking advantage of them.

The irony being that I'm better than anybody I can take advantage of in any way, hence I can never do anything against my morals.
