i'm 19 and i'm better than everyone else here...

All I have for a comeback is... "your mom!"
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. You think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fucking cross? It's like going up to Jackie Onassis wearing a rifle pendant.

Stop blaming the media, the media was always there, and will always be there. It's not the medias fault that parents cant teach there kids that theres no reset button in life. The medias main goal is, was and will always be to make money not raise your childern.

If you think your kid isnt ready for somthing, then dont let them have it, play it , listen to it ect.. It's the parents fault, not the media, if there kids become like that assholes that bruised my arm. <_<

Wow I didn't relize the media extended all the way back past the 20th century. Was I sleeping during this memo. I thought the TV wasn't invented back when they were wielding swords. Or the Internet connected the New World to the Old. Or possibly the Greeks used the Radio to broadcast tales of gods, and heroes. It's called culture dude and it's not what's screwing up this country. The media and the parents are both to blame. Parents influence the media but the media influences the children who become parents.

Lol, some people are just to in love with technology.

Media doesn’t always need electricity, yes this might seem crazy but there re other forms of media that don’t need power, like plays(acting), books, news papers, word of mouth stories ect...

Also, no parents directly don’t influence the media, money dose. If parents did, then most of the shows on my T.V would have to replace the word died with destroy.

Parents do influence media, everyone does. Can you tell me where they get the money if thats not true? And another thing to point out

Its not just who influence the media, but the fact that the media influences people who will become parents. Also saying that media does not influence people at all but it still makes money is so stupid >.< ... you do realize that commercials are not there to simply give you a reason to flip the channel, its there to SELL SOMETHING. If commercials didn't influence the public then it would be a billion dollar bust! Every year billions of dollars down the drain for you to have a reason to flip the channel. So we can all agree that commercials influence people? (rhetorical, because i don't care) Well if the ads that go between shows (that everyone hates and changes every month) does have an effect, then what are the odds that the shows (much longer, common message and theme every time you watch it and reason why you are on the tv) will have just as much influence.

That is unless you watch tv for the commercials... then you can just ignore my post and hug your favourite corporate sponsor some more.

Parents influence the media but the media influences the children who become parents.

I meant that children infulence the media more then parents because childern/teens are more ceseptable to messages, (do to the fact that there not as exprienced in life and there brains are still maturing) and, generally are willing to spend more money on somthing.

And i dident say the media dose not influence people at all. I said that parental failures should stop blaming the media for the poor outcome cause it isent the medias job to raise you children.
