A religion forbidding child breastfeeding? No screams during childbirth?

Quote:

Hubbard also wrote that breastfeeding should be avoided.

So sayeth wikipedia, and states he made a mixture.

Scientology is even worse than Judaism, or Christianity.

Quote:

Among these advanced teachings, one episode revealed to those who reach OT level III has been much remarked upon: the story of Xenu and his Galactic Confederacy. Xenu (sometimes Xemu) is introduced as an alien ruler of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and blew them up with hydrogen bombs. Their souls then clustered together and stuck to the bodies of the living. The alien souls continue to do this today, causing a variety of physical ill-effects in modern-day humans. Hubbard called these clustered spirits "Body Thetans," and the advanced levels place considerable emphasis on isolating them and neutralizing their ill effects.[19]

Oh wow... Galactic confederacy!

Rhas, I can't believe you buy this crap.
Wine in hand, in the other, Quran,
Both halal I do and haram,
In this incomplete world of a sham,
Neither Pagan I am, nor Musselman!

Omar Khayyam

Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, idolater, worshipper of fire,
Come even though you have broken your vows a thousand times,
Come, and come yet again.
Ours is not a caravan of despair

rhas is a scientologist....

Holy shit, first I thought you were just being mean to Rhas like usual, but then it dawned on me that it's true... Because he told me about it since I made a Scientologist-unfriendly comment.

Ah... The internet.

lol... I have a feeling about your comment but i will keep it to myself.

On a funnier note, yes Rhas is crazy, he believes in the spirits of hydrogen bombed human beings haunting our souls.
Why did the superior alien race choose their old and rusty Hydrogen bombs to kill us anyway? Is their some unforeseen side effect of a Hydrogen bomb we don't know about? If it has the power to affect our souls does that mean we could hurt god with them too?

Our first true weapon against religion!!! Everyone rejoice, when god comes to start the apocalypse we can just shoot him down!

There is nothing in Scientology beliefs that is any more insane or insipid than you can find in any other religion. It's just unfamiliar insanity, so it stands out more. But if you think about it, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Taoism, Buddhism, et al are all just as insane as hydrogen bombs nuking souls who then get hypnotised.

What makes Scientology different is its practices. Its practices are evil to the point that it makes Falcon-style Christianity look like a paragon of morality. It makes Osama bin Laden look like a saint. This is why I asked if Rhas was a member of the Church of Scientology or in the Free Zone. Free Zoners are harmless kooks, like most religious people in most religions. Church of Scientology members above a certain level are devoid of anything resembling morality or decency and below that level are wilful dupes.

The problem is not the religion... but the religious leaders. If they didnt love money at any expense then people would not look down on it so much.

As for my comment about you reminding me of Tom, its because you hop from forum to forum typing "WHOOOO" and whatnot (over hyperactivity, as seen in the new Tom Cruse)

I don't really like religion... Well unless it includes microwaved babies ooh they taste great in the morning!

But why do people join religions? to feel like they are doing something good? To be part of something? To have somebody to look up too? Just because they got bored and wanted to scream at the minister during church?

Because it is a lot easier to believe in something greater, to take some of the end out of death, then to face the cold hard truth.
Its like me and how i avoid looking at my bank statements, the illusion of having money is better then the reality.
That and i guess if you are right you go to heaven or whatever... kind of like winning the lottery, but harder.

Scientology has already been disproved by science, at least Christianity lasted a couple of hundred years before that happened, the volcanoes that the soul were acclaimedly blown up in (why would you put people in volcanoes to blow them up with hydrogen bombs? surely there are a million and one ways which are better to solve overpopulation?) didn't exist when Hubbard claimed they were as he based it upon now out-of-date science.

178 BILLION per planet? What was this guy smoking?
