Sometimes I think that I am the only consious unit in existence and everything else is just part of a simulation I have made to entertain myself.

I can tell you that is wrong. Or maybe I am just messing around with you. You are the only one, you are the only one.

God.

I'm with you man. We're all here because of God made us. Why are we here? To see if we're good enough to go to Heaven. I welcome all who disagree.

Again how can we comprehend the infinite if we have only a finite mind?

Why are we being tested if God is all-knowing?

God doesn't need a sidekick. And God isn't going to give us a true purpose. It's akin to you giving some little 5 year old some menial task to complete. In his mind, he's doing something important, but it really doesn't accomplish anything.

Order Through Choas. Explains it all. We can not comprehend our purpose because we cannot comprehend the infinite.

So God made us smart enough to know that there's a purpose, yet stupid enough so that we can't figure it out?

Pass.

It's simple as this: How can a finite mind understand the infinite?

But who says life is Infininite?

We are just space dust. There is no meaning to life. All meaning is creating by humans.

Right.......the universe will unfold like it's suppose to whether humans are in it or not. There is no meaning to life, we create our meaning by trying to convince ourselves that the universe needs US. In cold reality, the universe could actually give a damn whether we're here or not. We are just a random stroke of luck....nothing more nothing less.

I agree somewhat. My question to you is, How could something come out of nothing ?
A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. You think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a fucking cross? It's like going up to Jackie Onassis wearing a rifle pendant.

That is the only question that is impossible to answer. Even if there is a god, where did he come from? I guasse we just need to get okay with the fact that some how there was nothing, and it turned into something.

I meant the infinite as in a Creator not as in life is infinite.

I agree somewhat. My question to you is, How could something come out of nothing ?

something didn't come out of nothing, "something" just always existed... not everything has to have a start and an end...

That doesn't make any sense. Then again that could be an agnostic point of you right ? right.

it makes perfect sense... the universe was never created, it has just always existed... your "agnostic" comment is what made no sense...

What I meant by that was, believing that something just always existed can be interpreted as not knowing anything beyond that. The universe exists for reasons we will never understand.

The infinity symbol had to be good for something, if the universe was infinitely old and will continue for ever then this works. It is also impossible for us to grasp because everything has an end and a start... with an exception to the universe.

Q: What made the universe?
A: Variable X

Q: What made X
A: Variable Y

Q: What made Y
A: Variable Z

continue till you are no longer able to ask you will never find the start, its much easier to assume that X was never created, that it just is and always will be.
