There's probably an attention seeking thing in there too. If you're really thin, everyone remarks upon in.

And some of the remarks include.....walking skeleton, crack addict, no curves, sickly, snake like. If a woman wants the wrong kind of attention, then being anorexic will make people comment on how disgusting being that thin is. I'm speaking on this using a guys point of view.....sickly skinny women just aren't attractive.

Yes, but no one says that to their face! When you get a girl who is naturally very slender a lot of people (mainly girls) say "Wow! You're so thin!", and from personal experience I think that there's a bit of an element of that in the thinking of an eating disorder sufferer.

It's not uncommon for me to tell someone "You're looking thin" out of concern more than anything else, and they'll look overjoyed and say "Really!?!?!?"

I don't disagree with the theory behind what you're saying. But, to be so skinny that you look almost transperent isn't ,in the least way, attractive. There is such a thing as being too thin. And some of these "super thin" models that Hollywood deems as beautiful, quite honestly, need to eat.

Yes, I agree with you completely! Skinny girls aren't attractive. But women seem to think they are, and when an anorexic woman looks in the mirror they see a fat person.
I find it quite hard to get my head round that idea. It's quite bizarre, when you think about it...

My current gf use to be anorexic. She isn't anymore, but I can still almost fit both my hands around her. I might load up a picture later.
