Scary. VERY scary.
Wine in hand, in the other, Quran,
Both halal I do and haram,
In this incomplete world of a sham,
Neither Pagan I am, nor Musselman!

Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, idolater, worshipper of fire,
Come even though you have broken your vows a thousand times,
Come, and come yet again.
Ours is not a caravan of despair

Calling George Bush a fascist is the same as calling Al Gore a communist. They just blow this out of porprotion. I'm a Conservitive, not a Fascist. I think that Bush isnt doing his job right in Iraq (If I were POTUS, I would'nt pull out, I would make Baghdad swamped with American troops. I would make it start fighting this like a war, not an election.) I also think that the ACLU is nothing but some PC freaks trying to stomp on free speach and Christianity. EX: If a Imam is refuse service at an airflight, ACLU would be there in Pajamas so fast. If a preacher or a priest is refuse service, no one would go there to help them. Thanks alot ACLU.

Bush is a lot closer to a Fascist than Gore is to a Communist. He is doing all he can with what he has.

Basically Bush needs to become a dictator and then tighten his grip on the country and he will be a true Fascist.

But remember Pierce, all fascist dictators have been chosen democratically.

This is some scary stuff right here.

That's all I have to say on it. I'm honestly speechless. And not just because it might label me an "Enemy Combatant" otherwise.

Bush isn't a fascist, more like Fascist lite or Fascist Zero, just like a fascist just toned down a couple of notches

Basically Bush needs to become a dictator and then tighten his grip on the country and he will be a true Fascist.

And he's well on his way to becomming just this, a dictator. After reading the article Katastrof posted, I can honestly say, brutal times are on their way in America.

There were two statements in this article that stood out and screamed "facism" to me.

Quote:

1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy

After we were hit on September 11 2001, we were in a state of national shock. Less than six weeks later, on October 26 2001, the USA Patriot Act was passed by a Congress that had little chance to debate it; many said that they scarcely had time to read it. We were told we were now on a "war footing"; we were in a "global war" against a "global caliphate" intending to "wipe out civilisation". There have been other times of crisis in which the US accepted limits on civil liberties, such as during the civil war, when Lincoln declared martial law, and the second world war, when thousands of Japanese-American citizens were interned. But this situation, as Bruce Fein of the American Freedom Agenda notes, is unprecedented: all our other wars had an endpoint, so the pendulum was able to swing back toward freedom; this war is defined as open-ended in time and without national boundaries in space - the globe itself is the battlefield. "This time," Fein says, "there will be no defined end."

Don't believe this is happening? How about the comments you hear about the arab convenient store or the arab doctors sending money back to the Middle East to support Al-Queda. Truth is, most of these people are honest, decent law abiding citizens. But, because of the Bush regime's propaganda about middle eastern terrorism living next door to you, fear and panic are the results. Scary stuff....

Quote:

In Stalin's Soviet Union, dissidents were "enemies of the people". National Socialists called those who supported Weimar democracy "November traitors".

To quote President Bush: "You're either with us on the War on Terror, or you're against us." Where's the defining line here? What, if you wholeheartedly support all decisions and actions, you're "with" us and if you are a patriotic American, but you don't agree with policies of the current administration, you're "against" us? There is no defining point to what being "with or against" us means. Yet, another plot to create fear and panic, except this one turns Americans against Americans....think about it. Also, it gives the feds the right to search, harass and tap your home to watch your every move. I would like to see the criteria that makes someone "against" us. I'll bet the majority of regular citizens could be put on that list...

I've been saying this for years!

I'm not saying that Bush is a Fascist, but the manuveurs he's made since being in office have given Stalin's corpse such a gigantic hard-on, that they had to rebury him.

Not a pleasant image.

I do think, though, that we shouldn't be saying 'Bush' here. Let's face it, it's not the US Prez who's making most of the decisions. He has a cabal of people to do that for him. And what nice folks they are too. One of them left and runs the World Bank these days.
