I was wondering his earlier and wanted to know what you guys thought about it.

What does it take to be considered a true Christian for example? Do you have to directly follow The Bible or can you just believe that Jesus is the son of God and is your savior? Christian can be replaced with any religion and then some of its following teachings.
Dropped the atomic bomb let them know that it's real
Speak soft with a big stick do what I say or be killed
I'm America!

I have found the enemy and he is us.

It all depends on who you're talking to if you ask me. Liberal believers will consider you an <insert religion> if you believe in their god(s), while zealots will noly consider you a true believer if you fully agree and abide all values of that religion.

I consider being a "Christian" (using Christianity because I don't know as much about being Muslim or others) means holding the teachings of "Christ" above anything else. This includes not creating hate or prejudice against anyone for any reason and saying "God or Jesus hates(insert group)". All anyone ever hears is about God's love for everyone in the world, then Christians turn right around and bash someone claiming the same God that loves everyone hates it. I guess it's all about not being hypocritical, and showing tolorance and kindness towards fellow man, not turning away because you hate something, not necessarily God.

Like Bee, I can only vouch for Christianity, as I know some (actual young) people (in the UK!) locally who are Christians and attend a free church. According to them, you simply have to believe in Christ as your Lord and Saviour blahblah. Anything else is just a bonus. In fact, once you've said it apparently you're a Christian for life, regardless of whether or not you retract your faith! Which raises the obvious question...

Well, to be a good Muslim, there are these things you HAVE to believe in;

- Allah
- His Angels
- His Books. Not Just the Qu'ran, but the Torah as well and such even though only The Qu'ran is meant for us.
- His Prophets PBUT
- Judgement Day

Things a good Muslim has to do;

- Shahhadah - testification that there is no god but Allah ( which literally means The God) and that Muhammad ( PBUH) is his Prophet.
- Pray frequently...... something I REALLY need to work on.
- Give money to the less fortunate
- Fast, of course if you're sick or something during Ramadan then one should try to make up for it layer on.
- Try to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca if you're not sick and can afford it.

And obviously you have to try and abide by the laws of The Qu'ran.
