Yeah, perhaps a book about the history of zombie outbreaks, but I don't know how much information about that is already in The Zombie Survival Guide, so yeah.

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned"

BTW, i found a site lately, ozort.org . Check the FAQ. If your to lazy, then they say about a mix of rabies, and ebola. I belive you modify the rabies virus a bit, so that the infected human starts running amok bitting everyone they see and add ebola. Now, just apply it on a "test subject", and there you go! You get a running loony, that bites everyone he sees. He either dies due to rabies, or spilling his blood all around thanks to the ebola part of the virus. And anybody that was bitten, soon follows. Sure, it's not exactly what you call a zombie, but it's close.

I'm sorry, but I have to point out how ridiculously unsound this is. First off, making a chimera virus with the intended affects listed was a project undertaken by the Soviets for years with little fruitation. Frankly, it isn't as simple as rearranging some RNA strands or throwing some DNA into a blender and coming out with a mixed virus. It takes years of directed evolution and painstaking research. The process of directed evolution alone is very inaccurate and has an extremely small yield factor.

Furthermore, rabies makes your muscles spasms due to it messing with your brain. Think seizures. It only makes animals more aggressive because of how it affects their brain compared to ours, you would have to engineer an entirely new virus for someone to run around biting everyone because of its influence in which case you might as well start from scratch although synthetic viruses with current technology can only be about the same complexity as a simple Small Pox virus. It should also be noted that Ebola only causes, in extreme cases, the victim to throw up blood due to hemorrhaging internally and do not actually bleed from their pours as is contested sometimes.

The idea of a "real" zombie is just too unscientifically sound at this juncture in time. Supposedly a zombie would generate energy for motor skills from necrotizing the flesh which would be paradoxical as how would the zombie move the muscles it is decomposing? Simply put the most realistic form of zombies in relatable culture is the Infected from the 25 series which are just humans enraged by some viral reaction. Max Brooks plays it smart in World War Z by playing the zombie outbreak off as unexplainable, even in their universe while popular media like Resident Evil resort to psuedo-science and vague descriptions to pass of their T-virus as believable.

If you are worried about someone synthesizing a zombie virus, you have a while to worry before a zombie comes knocking on your door. Its just not possible yet, but I wouldn't call impossible ever. In fact, its on my to-do list.

About 20 or something stories of those were added to the end of The Zombie Survival Guide.

Ah, right, I guess there can't be much to write a third book about then, is there?

I've been wondering,maybe thinking a little too much-is it possible to actualy create a zombie?
Seriously,think about it with all those new science advances in genetics and stem cells it actualy might be a possibility,for some evil scientist to create a actual zombie,now i dont exactly have any scientific knowledge or anything but i've been thinking about the possibility since reading the Zombie Survival Guide.
Of Course
Neuron Jacobs Disease i think its what its called it is when a human gets mad cow disease

there is prions disease which is a disease that makes you crave flesh and devoures your brain but you only get it through eating an already infected brain thats why its only victims are in Papalua New Guinea

just tweak the prions virus a bit which costs probably more than its worth and ship it to the country of your choice
